Isaiah 8
1 And the Lord said to me, Take a great writing-board, and on it put down in common letters, Maher-shalal-hash-baz;
၁ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ငါ့အား``စာရေးသင်ပုန်း ကြီးတစ်ခုကိုယူ၍`မြန်မြန်တိုက်၊ မြန်မြန်လု' ဟူသည့်စကားရပ်ကိုစာလုံးကြီးကြီးနှင့် ရေးမှတ်လော့။-
2 And take true witnesses to the writing, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah, the son of Jeberechiah.
၂ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချရသူယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဥရိယ နှင့်ယေဗရခိ၏သားဇာခရိနှစ်ယောက်တို့ အား အသိသက်သေများအဖြစ်ဖြင့်ခေါ် ထားလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
3 And I went in to my wife, and she became with child, and gave birth to a son. Then the Lord said to me, Give him the name Maher-shalal-hash-baz,
၃ကာလအနည်းငယ်ကြာသောအခါငါ၏ ဇနီးသည်သည်ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်ကာသားယောကျာ်း ကိုဖွားမြင်လေသည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း ``ထိုသားကိုမြန်မြန်တိုက်မြန်မြန်လုဟု နာမည်မှည့်လော့။-
4 For before the child is able to say, Father, or, Mother, the wealth of Damascus and the goods of Samaria will be taken away by the king of Assyria.
၄ထိုသူငယ်သည်မေမေ၊ ဖေဖေဟူ၍ပင်ခေါ် တတ်သည့်အရွယ်သို့မရောက်မီ အာရှုရိ ဘုရင်သည် ဒမာသက်မြို့ရှိစည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာ မှန်သမျှနှင့်ရှမာရိမြို့မှတိုက်ရာပါ ပစ္စည်းများကိုသိမ်းယူ၍သွားလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုငါ့အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
5 And the Lord said again to me,
၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ငါ့အားနောက်တစ်ဖန် မိန့်တော်မူပြန်၏။-
6 Because this people will have nothing to do with the softly-flowing waters of Shiloah, and have fear of Rezin and Remaliah's son;
၆ကိုယ်တော်က``ဤလူစုသည်ဆိတ်ငြိမ်စွာ စီးဆင်းလျက်နေသော ရှိလောင်ချောင်းရေ ကိုပစ်ပယ်ကာရေဇိန်မင်းနှင့်ပေကာမင်း တို့၏ရှေ့တွင်တုန်လှုပ်လျက်နေသဖြင့်၊-
7 For this cause the Lord is sending on them the waters of the River, deep and strong, even the king of Assyria and all his glory: and it will come up through all its streams, overflowing all its edges:
၇ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည်အာရှုရိဘုရင်နှင့် သူ၏တပ်သားများအားခေါ်ယူ၍ ယုဒပြည် ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်စေမည်။ သူတို့သည်ဥဖရတ် မြစ်ရေလျှံသကဲ့သို့ကျယ်ပြန့်စွာချီတတ် လာကြလိမ့်မည်။-
8 And it will come on into Judah; rushing on and overflowing, till the waters are up to the neck; and his outstretched wings will be covering the land from side to side: for God is with us.
၈အာရှုရိဘုရင်နှင့်တပ်မတော်တည်းဟူသော မြစ်လျှံရေတို့သည် ယုဒပြည်တစ်လျှောက်လုံး သို့ဆင်းဝင်ကာ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကိုလူ တို့လည်မျိုလောက်တိုင်အောင်လွှမ်းမိုးကြ လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုငါ့အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ အို ဧမာနွေလဘုရားသခင်သည်ငါတို့နှင့် အတူရှိတော်မူပါသည်တကား။ ကိုယ်တော် သည်မိမိမေတ္တာအတောင်တော်ကိုဖြန့်၍ ငါ တို့ပြည်ကိုကွယ်ကာစောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူ၏။
9 Have knowledge, O peoples, and be in fear; give ear, all you far-off parts of the earth:
၉အချင်းနိုင်ငံခြားသားအပေါင်းတို့ကြောက်ရွံ့ လျက်စုဝေးကြလော့။ ရပ်ဝေးဒေသမှလူ အပေါင်းတို့၊ နားထောင်ကြလော့။ စစ်တိုက်ရန် အသင့်ပြင်ဆင်ကြလော့။ သို့ရာတွင်ကြောက် လန့်လျက်နေကြလော့။ သင်တို့သည်ယင်းသို့ အသင့်ပြင်ဆင်ကြသော်လည်းကြောက်လန့် လျက်နေရကြ၏။-
10 Let your designs be formed, and they will come to nothing; give your orders, and they will not be effected: for God is with us.
၁၀သင်တို့၏စီမံကိန်းများကိုရေးဆွဲကြလော့။ သို့ရာတွင်ထိုစီမံကိန်းတို့သည်အဘယ်အခါ ၌မျှအောင်မြင်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ သင်တို့ပြော လိုသမျှသောစကားများကိုပြောဆိုကြလော့။ သို့ရာတွင်ယင်းတို့သည်အချည်းနှီးသာလျှင် ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ဘုရားသခင်သည်ငါတို့နှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူသော ကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။
11 For the Lord, controlling me with a strong hand, gave me orders not to go in the way of this people, saying,
၁၁ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ပြည်သူတို့လိုက်သည့် လမ်းစဉ်ကိုမလိုက်ရန် ငါ့အားကြပ်မတ်စွာ သတိပေးတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်က၊-
12 Do not say, It is holy, about everything of which this people says, It is holy; and do not be in fear of what they go in fear of.
၁၂``သင်သည်ထိုသူတို့နှင့်ကြံရာပါမဖြစ် စေနှင့်။ သူတို့ကြောက်လန့်သောအရာကို မကြောက်နှင့်၊-
13 But let the Lord of armies be holy to you, and go in fear of him, giving honour to him.
၁၃အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မြင့် မြတ်သန့်ရှင်းတော်မူကြောင်းကိုမမေ့မလျော့ နှင့်။ သင်ကြောက်ရမည့်သူကားငါပင်တည်း။-
14 And he will be for a holy place: but for a stone of falling and a rock of trouble to the two houses of Israel, and to the men of Jerusalem, for a net in which they may be taken.
၁၄ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်မှုသည်ထိတ်လန့်အံ့သြ ဖွယ်ဖြစ်သဖြင့်၊ ငါသည်လူတို့တိုက်မိ၍လဲ စရာကျောက်နှင့်တူ၏။ ယုဒပြည်သူများ၊ ဣသရေလပြည်သူများနှင့်ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သားတို့အား ထောင်ဖမ်းမည့်ကျော့ကွင်း နှင့်လည်းတူ၏။-
15 And numbers of them, falling on the stone, will be broken, and will be taken in the net.
၁၅လူအများပင်တိုက်မိ၍လဲကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ယင်းသို့လဲကျကာကျိုးပဲ့၍ သွားကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ကျော့ကွင်း တွင်မိကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
16 Let my teaching be kept secret: and my words be given to my disciples only.
၁၆ငါ၏တပည့်တို့သည်ငါ့အားဘုရားသခင် ပေးတော်မူသောဗျာဒိတ်တော်များကို စောင့်ရှောက်ထိန်းသိမ်းရကြပေမည်။-
17 And I will be waiting for the Lord, whose face is veiled from the house of Jacob, and I will be looking for him.
၁၇ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိ၏လူမျိုးတော် အား မျက်နှာတော်ကိုမပြဘဲနေတော်မူ သော်လည်း၊ ငါသည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုယုံကြည် အားထားစောင့်စားမျှော်ကိုးပါမည်။-
18 See, I and the children whom the Lord has given me, are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of armies, whose resting-place is in Mount Zion.
၁၈ငါ့အားထာဝရဘုရားပေးသနားတော် မူသောသားသမီးများနှင့်အတူ ငါသည် ဤမှာရှိပါ၏။ ဇိအုန်တောင်တော်ပေါ်တွင် စိုးစံတော်မူသောအနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ငါတို့အားဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့အတွက်ပြန်ကြားသည့်ဗျာဒိတ် တော်တို့ကို သရုပ်ဆောင်သူများဖြစ်စေ တော်မူလေပြီ။
19 And when they say to you, Make request for us to those who have control of spirits, and to those wise in secret arts, who make hollow bird-like sounds; is it not right for a people to make request to their gods, to make request for the living to the dead?
၁၉လူတို့သည်ဖတ်ရွတ်သရဇ္စျာယ်တတ်သူဗေဒင် ဆရာများနှင့် နတ်ဝင်သည်တို့အားစုံစမ်း မေးမြန်းရန်သင်တို့အားပြောကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့က``လူတို့သည်အသက်ရှင်သူတို့ ကိုယ်စားသေသူတို့၏ဝိညာဉ်များကိုမေး မြန်းစုံစမ်းအပ်သည်'' ဟုဆိုကြလိမ့်မည်။
20 Then say to them, Put your faith in the teaching and the witness. ... If they do not say such things. ... For him there is no dawn. ...
၂၀ထိုအခါသင်တို့က``ထာဝရဘုရား၏ သွန်သင်တော်မူချက်ကိုနားထောင်ကြ။ သူ တို့ပြောဆိုသောစကားများသည်သင်တို့ အတွက်အကျိုးမရှိ'' ဟုပြန်ပြောကြ လော့။
21 And he will go through the land in bitter trouble and in need of food; and when he is unable to get food, he will become angry, cursing his king and his God, and his eyes will be turned to heaven on high;
၂၁လူတို့သည်မိမိတို့ပြည်တွင်စိတ်ပျက်အား လျော့လျက် ဆာလောင်မွတ်သိပ်လျက်သွားလာ ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ဆာလောင်မွတ်သိပ် မှုနှင့်အမျက်ထွက်မှုတို့ကြောင့်မိမိတို့၏ ဘုရင်နှင့် မိမိတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ကိုကျိန် ဆဲကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ကောင်းကင်သို့ မျှော်ကြည့်သည့်အခါသော်လည်းကောင်း၊-
22 And he will be looking down on the earth, and there will be trouble and dark clouds, black night where there is no seeing.
၂၂မြေကြီးသို့စိုက်ကြည့်သည့်အခါသော် လည်းကောင်းဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခနှင့်ကံဆိုးမိုးမှောင် မှတစ်ပါး အဘယ်အရာကိုမျှတွေ့ရကြ လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ ထိုသူတို့အပေါ်သို့ထိတ် လန့်ဖွယ်ရာကံဆိုးမိုးမှောင်ကျရောက်လာ လိမ့်မည်။ ဤသို့ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခရောက်ရာကာလ နှင့်သူတို့ကင်းလွတ်ရန်လမ်းရှိတော့မည် မဟုတ်။
