Jonah 2
1 From inside the fish, Jonah prayed to the LORD his God,
၁ငါး၏ဝမ်းထဲမှာနေစဉ်တွင်၊ ယောနသည် မိမိ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ဆုတောင်းသောစကားဟူ မူကား၊
2 saying: “In my distress I called to the LORD, and He answered me. From the belly of Sheol I called for help, and You heard my voice. (Sheol h7585)
၂ငါသည် ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲကို ခံရသောကြောင့်၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ဟစ်ခေါ်၍ ငါ့စကားကို ကြားတော်မူ၏။ မရ ဏာနိုင်ငံ၏ဝမ်းထဲက ဟစ်ခေါ်သော စကားသံကို နား ထောင်တော်မူ၏။ (Sheol h7585)
3 For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the current swirled about me; all Your breakers and waves swept over me.
၃ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို နက်နဲသောအရပ်၊ သမုဒ္ဒရာအလယ်ချက်ထဲသို့ ချပစ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ပင်လယ် ရေသည် ဝိုင်း၍ လှိုင်းတံပိုးတော်ရှိသမျှတို့သည် လွှမ်းမွန်း ကြပါ၏။
4 At this, I said, ‘I have been banished from Your sight; yet I will look once more toward Your holy temple.’
၄ထိုသို့ မျက်မှောက်တော်မှ နှင်ထုတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရ သော်လည်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောဗိမာန်တော်ကို မျက်မှောက်ပြု မြဲ ပြုပါမည်ဟု အောက်မေ့လျက်နေ၏။
5 The waters engulfed me to take my life; the watery depths closed around me; the seaweed wrapped around my head.
၅ရေတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်အသက်ကို သေစေခြင်းငှါ ဝိုင်းသဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ပင်လယ်အလယ်၌ အချုပ်ခံရ ပါ၏။ ပင်လယ်မြက်ပင်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ခေါင်းကို ပေါင်းစည်းလျက်ရှိပါ၏။
6 To the roots of the mountains I descended; the earth beneath me barred me in forever! But You raised my life from the pit, O LORD my God!
၆တောင်ခြေရင်းအမြစ်သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်ဆင်း၍၊ မြေ ကန့်လန့်ကျင်အတွင်း၌ အစဉ်အမြဲပိတ်ထားသော်လည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်အသက်ကို ပျက်စီးရာမှ ကယ်ဆယ်တော်မူလိမ့် မည်။
7 As my life was fading away, I remembered the LORD. My prayer went up to You, to Your holy temple.
၇အကျွန်ုပ်သည် စိတ်ပျက်သောအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အောက်မေ့၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ပဌနာသည် သန့်ရှင်းသော ဗိမာန်တော်၌ ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ ဝင်ပါ၏။
8 Those who cling to worthless idols forsake His loving devotion.
၈မုသာအနတ္တကို မှီဝဲသောသူတို့သည် မိမိတို့ ကရုဏာခံရာအကြောင်းကို စွန့်ပစ်ကြပါ၏။
9 But I, with the voice of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to You. I will fulfill what I have vowed. Salvation is from the LORD!”
၉အကျွန်ုပ်မူကား၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းသော စကားနှင့် ကိုယ်တော်အား ယဇ်ပူဇော်ပါမည်။ သစ္စာဂတိ ထားသည်အတိုင်း သစ္စာဝတ်ကို ပြုပါမည်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကြောင့် ချမ်းသာရပါသည်ဟု ဆုတောင်းလေ၏။
10 And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.
၁၀ထိုအခါ ငါးကြီးသည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို ခံ၍ ယောနကို ကုန်းပေါ်သို့ အန်လေ၏။
