Zechariah 12

1 The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. [Thus] saith Jehovah, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:

Carga da palavra do Senhor sobre Israel: Falla o Senhor, o que estende o céu, e que funda a terra, e que forma o espirito do homem dentro n'elle.

2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem.

Eis que eu porei a Jerusalem como um copo de tremor para todos os povos em redor, e tambem para Judah, o qual será no cerco contra Jerusalem.

3 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

E será n'aquelle dia que porei a Jerusalem por pedra pesada a todos os povos; todos os que carregarem com ella certamente serão despedaçados, e ajuntar-se-hão contra elle todas as nações da terra

4 In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.

N'aquelle dia, diz o Senhor, ferirei de espanto a todos os cavallos, e de loucura os que montam n'elles; mas sobre a casa de Judah abrirei os meus olhos, e ferirei de cegueira a todos os cavallos dos povos.

5 And the chieftains of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Jehovah of hosts their God.

Então os chefes de Judah dirão no seu coração: A minha força são os habitantes de Jerusalem e o Senhor dos Exercitos, seu Deus.

6 In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and [they of] Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

N'aquelle dia porei os chefes de Judah como um brazeiro de fogo debaixo da lenha, e como um tição de fogo entre gavelas; e á banda direita e esquerda consumirão a todos os povos em redor, e Jerusalem será habitada outra vez no seu logar, em Jerusalem.

7 Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.

E o Senhor primeiramente salvará as tendas de Judah, para que a gloria da casa de David e a gloria dos habitantes de Jerusalem não se engrandeça sobre Judah.

8 In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of Jehovah before them.

N'aquelle dia o Senhor amparará os habitantes de Jerusalem; e o que tropeçar entre elles n'aquelle dia será como David, e a casa de David será como Deus, como o anjo do Senhor diante d'elles.

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

E será, n'aquelle dia, que procurarei destruir todas as nações que vierem contra Jerusalem;

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

Porém sobre a casa de David, e sobre os habitantes de Jerusalem, derramarei o Espirito de graça e de supplicações; e olharão para mim, a quem traspassaram: e farão pranto sobre elle, como o pranto sobre o unigenito; e chorarão amargosamente sobre elle, como se chora amargosamente sobre o primogenito.

11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

N'aquelle dia será grande o pranto em Jerusalem, como o pranto de Hadadrimmon no valle de Meggiddon.

12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

E a terra pranteará, cada linhagem á parte: a linhagem da casa de David, á parte, e suas mulheres, á parte, e a linhagem da casa de Nathan, á parte, e suas mulheres, á parte

13 the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;

A linhagem da casa de Levi, a parte, e suas mulheres, á parte; a linhagem de Simei, á parte, e suas mulheres á parte.

14 all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

Todas as mais linhagens, cada linhagem á parte, e suas mulheres á parte.
