< Revelation 13 >

1 and he stood upon the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.
Kai loe tuipui ih savuet nuiah kang doet. To naah takii hato hoi lu sarihto kaom, takii boih nuiah angraeng lumuek hato hoi a lu boih nuiah Sithaw ahmin kasae thuihaih kaom, tuipui thung hoiah tacawt tahang moi kasan maeto ka hnuk.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority.
Ka hnuk ih moi kasan loe kaithlaeng hoiah anghmong, a khok loe taqom khok baktiah oh, anih ih pakha loe kaipui pakha baktiah oh: pahui pui mah anih hanah a thacakhaih, angmah ih angraeng tangkhang hoi kalen parai ukthaihaih akaa to paek.
3 And [I saw] one of his heads as though it had been smitten unto death; and his death-stroke was healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast;
Anih ih lu maeto loe duek han khoek to ahmaa caak boeh, to tiah duek han khoek to kaom ahmaa to hoih pae let: long kaminawk boih dawnrai o moe, moisan hnuk ah bang o.
4 and they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? and who is able to war with him?
Moisan hanah ukthaihaih akaa paek pahui pui to kaminawk mah bok o: mi maw moisan baktiah kaom? Mi mah maw anih to tuh thai tih? tiah thuih o moe, moisan to a bok o.
5 and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months.
Khrah qui pali, hnetto thung kamoek lok apaehhaih, Sithaw ih ahmin kasae thuihaih hoi ukthaihaih akaa to anih hanah paek.
6 And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, [even] them that dwell in the heaven.
Sithaw tangoenghaih, Sithaw ih ahmin kasae thuihaih, Sithaw ohhaih kahni im, van ah kaom kaminawk to kasae thuih hanah, anih ih pakha to paongh pae.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.
Kaciim kaminawk hoi misa angtuk moe, pazawk thaihaih to anih hanah paek o: kaminawk, lok congca apae kaminawk, prae kaminawk boih pazawk thaihaih to a tawnh.
8 And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, [every one] whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.
Long oh tangsuek nathuem hoi hum ih kahing Tuucaa ih cabu thungah ahmin tarik ai ih long kaminawk boih mah moisan to bok o tih.
9 If any man hath an ear, let him hear.
Mi kawbaktih doeh naa tawn kami loe thaih nasoe.
10 If any man [is] for captivity, into captivity he goeth: if any man shall kill with the sword, with the sword must he be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Misong ah naeh han suek ih kami loe naeh o tih: sumsen hoi hum han suek ih kami loe sumsen hoiah hum o tih. Haeah kaciim kaminawk loe palungsawkhaih hoi oep kaom ah khosak han angaih.
11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like unto a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
To pacoengah long hoiah tacawt tahang kalah moisan maeto ka hnuk; anih loe Tuucaa baktiah takii hnetto tawnh moe, pahui pui baktiah lok apaeh.
12 And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he maketh the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed.
Anih loe hmaloe ah kaom moisan ukthaihaih akaa patohhaih hoiah, long hoi a thungah kaom kaminawk boih mah, duek han khoek to ahmaa caak moe, kahoih let hmaloe ih moisan to bok o hanah toksak.
13 And he doeth great signs, that he should even make fire to come down out of heaven upon the earth in the sight of men.
Anih loe kalen parai dawnrai koi kaom hmuennawk to sak, kaminawk mik hnukah van hoiah long nuiah hmai to a kraksak.
14 And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who hath the stroke of the sword and lived.
Hmaloe ih moisan hmaa ah dawnrai hmuennawk sakhaih rang hoiah anih mah long nuiah kaom kaminawk to aling; sumsen hoiah ahmaa caak pacoengah, kahing let moisan ih krang to sak o hanah, long nuiah kaom kaminawk khaeah lok a thuih pae.
15 And it was given [unto him] to give breath to it, [even] to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Anih mah moisan ih krang to lok apaehsak moe, hinghaih takhi doeh paek thaih; to moisan krang bok han koeh ai kaminawk boih to a hum.
16 And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead;
Anih mah kathoeng, kalen, angraeng, mithoe, kaloih, tamna boih angmacae bantang ban ah maw, to tih ai boeh loe lu pataeh ah maw catui daeng pae tih:
17 and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, [even] the name of the beast or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.
To pongah haeah palunghahaih angaih. Mi kawbaktih doeh panoekthaihaih tawn kami loe moisan ih nambat to pakoep nasoe: to nambat loe kami maeto ih nambat ah oh; anih ih nambat loe cumvai taruk, qui taruk, tarukto.
