Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.

आराधना के लिए यात्रियों का गीत. याहवेह, गहराइयों में से मैं आपको पुकार रहा हूं;

2 Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

हे प्रभु, मेरा स्वर सुन लीजिए, कृपा के लिए मेरी नम्र विनती की ओर आपके कान लगे रहें.

3 If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

याहवेह, यदि आप अपराधों का लेखा रखने लगें, तो प्रभु, कौन ठहर सकेगा?

4 But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.

किंतु आप क्षमा शील हैं, तब आप श्रद्धा के योग्य हैं.

5 I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

मुझे, मेरे प्राणों को, याहवेह की प्रतीक्षा रहती है, उनके वचन पर मैंने आशा रखी है.

6 My soul [waiteth] for the Lord More than watchmen [wait] for the morning; [Yea, more than] watchmen for the morning.

मुझे प्रभु की प्रतीक्षा है उन रखवालों से भी अधिक, जिन्हें सूर्योदय की प्रतीक्षा रहती है, वस्तुतः उन रखवालों से कहीं अधिक जिन्हें भोर की प्रतीक्षा रहती है.

7 O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.

इस्राएल, याहवेह पर भरोसा रखो, क्योंकि जहां याहवेह हैं वहां करुणा-प्रेम भी है और वही पूरा छुटकारा देनेवाले हैं.

8 And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

स्वयं वही इस्राएल को, उनके अपराधों को क्षमा करेंगे.
