Psalms 101

1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of lovingkindness and justice: Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I sing praises.

१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र मी प्रेम आणि न्यायाचे गीत गाईन; हे परमेश्वरा, मी स्तुती गाईन;

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

२मी सुज्ञतेच्या मार्गाने चालेन. अहा, तू माझ्याकडे कधी येशील? मी माझ्या घरात सचोटीने चालेन.

3 I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.

३मी आपल्या डोळ्यासमोर अनुचित गोष्ट ठेवणार नाही; अनाचाराचा मी द्वेष करतो; तो मला बिलगणार नाही.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

४हेकेखोर लोक मला सोडतील; मी वाईटाशी निष्ठावान राहणार नाही.

5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

५आपल्या शेजाऱ्याची गुप्तपणे निंदानालस्ती करणाऱ्याचा मी नाश करीन. जो कोणी गर्विष्ठ चालीरीतीचा आणि उर्मट वागणूकीचा आहे त्याचे मी सहन करणार नाही.

6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.

६देशातले विश्वासू यांनी माझ्याजवळ बसावे म्हणून माझी नजर त्यांच्यावर राहील; जो सचोटीच्या मार्गाने चालतो तोच माझा सेवक होईल.

7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

७कपट करणारे लोक माझ्या घरात राहणार नाहीत; लबाडाचे माझ्या डोळ्यापुढे स्वागत होणार नाही.

8 Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.

८देशातल्या सर्व वाईटांचा मी रोज सकाळी नाश करत जाईन; वाईट करणाऱ्या सर्वांना मी परमेश्वराच्या नगरातून काढून टाकेन.
