Micah 2

1 Woe to them that devise iniquity and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.

Malheur à ceux qui conçoivent l'iniquité. et travailler le mal sur leurs lits! Quand le matin est clair, ils le pratiquent, parce que c'est au pouvoir de leur main.

2 And they covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

Ils convoitent les champs et les saisissent, et les maisons, alors emmenez-les. Ils oppriment un homme et sa maison, même un homme et son héritage.

3 Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks, neither shall ye walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.

C'est pourquoi Yahvé dit: « Voici que je prépare contre ce peuple un désastre, dont vous ne sortirez pas le cou, vous ne marcherez pas non plus de manière hautaine, car c'est un mauvais moment.

4 In that day shall they take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, [and] say, We are utterly ruined: he changeth the portion of my people: how doth he remove [it] from me! to the rebellious he divideth our fields.

En ce jour-là, ils inventeront une parabole contre toi, et se lamenter avec une lamentation lugubre, en disant, Nous sommes complètement ruinés! Les biens de mon peuple sont divisés. En effet, il me le prend et attribue nos champs à des traîtres! »

5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast the line by lot in the assembly of Jehovah.

C'est pourquoi, dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel, vous n'aurez pas de personne qui partage le pays par tirage au sort.

6 Prophesy ye not, [thus] they prophesy. They shall not prophesy to these: reproaches shall not depart.

« Ne prophétisez pas! » - ils prophétisent... « Ne prophétisez pas sur ces choses. La disgrâce ne nous rattrapera pas. »

7 Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, Is the Spirit of Jehovah straitened? are these his doings? Do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

On dira: Maison de Jacob, « L'Esprit de Yahvé est-il en colère? Est-ce que ce sont ses actes? Mes paroles ne font-elles pas du bien à celui qui marche sans reproche? »

8 But of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye strip the robe from off the garment from them that pass by securely [as men] averse from war.

Mais ces derniers temps, mon peuple s'est levé comme un ennemi. Vous dépouillez la robe et les vêtements de ceux qui passent sans s'en soucier, au retour de la bataille.

9 The women of my people ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their young children ye take away my glory for ever.

Vous chassez les femmes de mon peuple de leurs maisons agréables; de leurs jeunes enfants, vous enlevez ma bénédiction pour toujours.

10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your resting-place; because of uncleanness that destroyeth, even with a grievous destruction.

Levez-vous, et partez! Car ceci n'est pas votre lieu de repos, à cause de l'impureté qui détruit, même avec une grave destruction.

11 If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood do lie, [saying], I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

Si un homme, marchant dans un esprit de mensonge, ment en disant, « Je vous prophétiserai du vin et des boissons fortes, » il serait le prophète de ce peuple.

12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the midst of their pasture; they shall make great noise by reason of [the multitude of] men.

Je vous rassemblerai tous, Jacob. Je rassemblerai le reste d'Israël. Je les rassemblerai comme les moutons de Bozrah, comme un troupeau au milieu de leur pâturage. Ils vont grouiller de monde.

13 The breaker is gone up before them: they have broken forth and passed on to the gate, and are gone out thereat; and their king is passed on before them, and Jehovah at the head of them.

Celui qui ouvre le chemin monte devant eux. Ils franchissent la porte et sortent. Leur roi s'éteint avant eux, avec Yahvé à leur tête.
