< Matthew 2 >

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judæa in the days of Herod the king, behold, Wise-men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying,
Əysa Ⱨerod padixaⱨ ⱨɵküm sürgǝn künlǝrdǝ Yǝⱨudiyǝ ɵlkisining Bǝyt-Lǝⱨǝm yezisida dunyaƣa kǝlgǝndin keyin, mana bǝzi danixmǝnlǝr mǝxriⱪtin Yerusalemƣa yetip kelip, puⱪralardin:
2 Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
Yǝⱨudiylarning [yengidin] tuƣulƣan padixaⱨi ⱪǝyǝrdǝ? Qünki biz uning yultuzining kɵtürülgǝnlikini kɵrduⱪ. Xunga, uningƣa sǝjdǝ ⱪilƣili kǝlduⱪ, — deyixti.
3 And when Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
Buni angliƣan Ⱨerod padixaⱨ, xuningdǝk pütkül Yerusalem hǝlⱪimu alaⱪzadilikkǝ qüxti.
4 And gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ should be born.
U pütkül bax kaⱨinlar wǝ hǝlⱪning Tǝwrat ustazlirini qaⱪirip, ulardin «Mǝsiⱨ ⱪǝyǝrdǝ tuƣuluxi kerǝk?» — dǝp soridi.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judæa: for thus it is written through the prophet,
Ular: «Yǝⱨudiyǝdiki Bǝyt-Lǝⱨǝm yezisida boluxi kerǝk, — qünki pǝyƣǝmbǝr arⱪiliⱪ xundaⱪ pütülgǝn: —
6 And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art in no wise least among the princes of Judah: For out of thee shall come forth a governor, Who shall be shepherd of my people Israel.
«I Yǝⱨudiyǝ zeminidiki Bǝyt-Lǝⱨǝm, Hǝlⱪing Yǝⱨudiyǝ yetǝkqilirining arisida ǝng kiqiki bolmaydu; Qünki sǝndin bir yetǝkqi qiⱪidu, U hǝlⱪim Israillarning baⱪⱪuqisi bolidu» — deyixti.
7 Then Herod privily called the Wise-men, and learned of them exactly what time the star appeared.
Buning bilǝn, Ⱨerod danixmǝlǝrni mǝhpiy qaⱪirtip, yultuzning ⱪaqan pǝyda bolƣanliⱪini sürüxtürüp biliwaldi.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search out exactly concerning the young child; and when ye have found [him], bring me word, that I also may come and worship him.
Andin: «Berip balini sürüxtǝ ⱪilip tepinglar. Tapⱪan ⱨaman ⱪaytip manga hǝwǝr ⱪilinglar, mǝnmu uning aldiƣa berip sǝjdǝ ⱪilip kelǝy» — dǝp, ularni Bǝyt-Lǝⱨǝmgǝ yolƣa saldi.
9 And they, having heard the king, went their way; and lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
Danixmǝnlǝr padixaⱨning sɵzini anglap yolƣa qiⱪti; wǝ mana, ular xǝrⱪtǝ kɵrgǝn ⱨeliⱪi yultuz ularning aldida yol baxlap mangdi wǝ bala turƣan yǝrgǝ kelip tohtidi.
10 And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Ular ⱨeliⱪi yultuzni kɵrginidin intayin ⱪattiⱪ xadlinixti
11 And they came into the house and saw the young child with Mary his mother; and they fell down and worshipped him; and opening their treasures they offered unto him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
ⱨǝm ɵygǝ kirip, balini anisi Mǝryǝm bilǝn kɵrüp, yǝrgǝ yiⱪilip uningƣa sǝjdǝ ⱪilixti. Andin, hǝzinilirini eqip, altun, mǝstiki, murmǝkki ⱪatarliⱪ sowƣatlarni sunuxti.
12 And being warned [of God] in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
Ularƣa qüxidǝ Ⱨerodning yeniƣa barmasliⱪ toƣrisidiki wǝⱨiy kǝlgǝnliki üqün, ular baxⱪa yol bilǝn ɵz yurtiƣa ⱪaytixti.
13 Now when they were departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I tell thee: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
Ular yolƣa kǝtkǝndin keyin, Pǝrwǝrdigarning bir pǝrixtisi Yüsüpning qüxidǝ kɵrünüp: Ornungdin tur! Bala wǝ anisi ikkisini elip Misirƣa ⱪaq. Mǝn sanga uⱪturƣuqǝ u yǝrdǝ turƣin. Qünki Ⱨerod balini yoⱪitixⱪa izdǝp kelidu — dedi.
14 And he arose and took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt;
Xuning bilǝn u ornidin turup, xu keqila bala wǝ anisi ikkisini elip Misirƣa ⱪarap yolƣa qiⱪti.
15 and was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt did I call my son.
U Ⱨerod ɵlgüqǝ xu yǝrdǝ turdi. Xundaⱪ boldiki, Pǝrwǝrdigarning pǝyƣǝmbǝr arⱪiliⱪ aldin eytⱪan: «Oƣlumni Misirdin Mǝn qaⱪirdim» degǝn sɵzi ǝmǝlgǝ axuruldi.
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise-men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly learned of the Wise-men.
Ⱨerod bolsa danixmǝnlǝrdin aldanƣanliⱪini bilip, ⱪattiⱪ ƣǝzǝplǝndi. U danixmǝnlǝrdin eniⱪliƣan waⱪitⱪa asasǝn, adǝmlǝrni ǝwǝtip Bǝyt-Lǝⱨǝm yezisi wǝ ǝtrapidiki ikki yax wǝ uningdin tɵwǝn yaxtiki oƣul balilarning ⱨǝmmisini ɵltürguzdi.
17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
Xu qaƣda Yǝrǝmiya pǝyƣǝmbǝr arⱪiliⱪ eytilƣan munu sɵz ǝmǝlgǝ axuruldi: —
18 A voice was heard in Ramah, Weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; And she would not be comforted, because they are not.
«Ramaⱨ xǝⱨiridǝ bir sada, Aqqiⱪ yiƣa-zarning piƣani anglinar, Bu Raⱨilǝning baliliri üqün kɵtürgǝn aⱨ-zarliri; Balilirining yoⱪ ⱪiliwetilgini tüpǝylidin, Tǝsǝllini ⱪobul ⱪilmay piƣan kɵtüridu».
19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,
Əmdi Ⱨerod ɵlgǝndin keyin, Hudaning bir pǝrixtisi Misirda turƣan Yüsüpning qüxidǝ kɵrünüp uningƣa: —
20 Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead that sought the young child’s life.
Ornungdin tur! Bala wǝ anisini elip Israil zeminiƣa ⱪayt! Qünki balining jenini almaⱪqi bolƣanlar ɵldi, — dedi.
21 And he arose and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
Buning bilǝn Yüsüp ornidin turup bala wǝ anisini elip Israil zeminiƣa ⱪaytti.
22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judæa in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither; and being warned [of God] in a dream, he withdrew into the parts of Galilee,
U Arhelausning atisi Ⱨerod padixaⱨning orniƣa tǝhtkǝ olturup Yǝⱨudiyǝ ɵlkisigǝ ⱨɵkümranliⱪ ⱪiliwatⱪinidin hǝwǝr tepip, u yǝrgǝ ⱪaytixtin ⱪorⱪti; wǝ qüxidǝ uningƣa bir wǝⱨiy kelip, Galiliyǝ zeminiƣa berip,
23 and came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets, that he should be called a Nazarene.
Nasarǝt dǝp atilidiƣan bir yezida olturaⱪlaxti. Xuning bilǝn pǝyƣǝmbǝrlǝr arⱪiliⱪ: «U Nasarǝtlik dǝp atilidu» deyilgini ǝmǝlgǝ axuruldi.
