Luke 3
1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Cæsar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judæa, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Ituræa and Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene,
୧ତିବିରିୟା କାଇସାର୍ଆଃ ରାଇଜ୍ତାନ୍ ପାନ୍ଦ୍ରା ବାରାଷ୍ ତାଇକେନ୍ ଇମ୍ତା ପନ୍ତିୟସ୍ ପିଲାତୁସ୍ ଯିହୁଦାରେନ୍ ଲାଟ୍ସାହେବ୍ ତାଇକେନାଏ, ଆଡଃ ହେରୋଦ୍ ଗାଲିଲ୍ରେନ୍ ମିଦ୍ହାନାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ ରାଜା, ହାଗାତେ ଫିଲିପ୍ ଈତୁରିୟା ଆଡଃ ତ୍ରାଖୋନିତିଆରେନ୍ ମିଦ୍ହାନାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ ରାଜା, ଆଡଃ ଲୁସାନିଆଁ ଅବିଲିନିରେନ୍ ମିଦ୍ହାନାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ ରାଜା ତାଇକେନାଏ ।
2 in the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
୨ହାନାନ୍ ଆଡଃ କାୟଫା ନୁତୁମ୍ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଯାଜାକ୍ ତାଇକେନ୍ପାରିୟାରେ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ କାଜି ଜାଖ୍ରିୟାରାଃ ହନ୍ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମା ଏମଃନିଃ ଯୋହାନ୍ତାଃତେ ବିର୍ରେ ସେଟେର୍ୟାନା ।
3 And he came into all the region round about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins;
୩ଏନାତେ ଇନିଃ ଯାର୍ଦାନ୍ ଗାଡ଼ା ଯାପାଃରେୟାଃ ସବେନ୍ସାଃତେ ସେନ୍କେଦ୍ତେ “ପାପ୍ ଛାମା ନାମେନାଗେନ୍ତେ ମନ୍ରୁହାଡ଼୍ରେୟାଃ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମା” ଉଦୁବ୍ବାଡ଼ା ତାନାଏ ତାଇକେନା ।
4 as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.
୪ଜେ'ଲେକା ନେଆଁଦ ଯିଶାୟ ନାବୀୟାଃ କାଜିରେୟାଃ ପୁଥିରେ ଅଲାକାନା, “ଜେତାଏ ବିର୍ରେ କାଉରିତାନ୍ନିୟାଃଁ ସାଡ଼ି ଆୟୁମଃତାନା, ପ୍ରାଭୁଆଃ ହରା ବାଇୟେପେ, ଇନିୟାଃ ହରା ସିଧାଏପେ
5 Every valley shall be filled, And every mountain and hill shall be brought low; And the crooked shall become straight, And the rough ways smooth;
୫ସବେନ୍ ଗାଡ଼ା ପେରେଜଃଆଃ, ସବେନ୍ ବୁରୁ ଆଡଃ ଗୁଟୁ ଲାତାରଆଃ । ବେଙ୍କଆକାନ୍ ହରାକ ସିଧାଅଃଆ ଆଡଃ ଗାଡା ଡିପା ହରାକ ସବେନ୍ ସାମ୍ବାଇୟଆଃ ।
6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
୬ଆଡଃ ସବେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ପାରିତ୍ରାଣ୍କ ନେଲେୟାଃ ।”
7 He said therefore to the multitudes that went out to be baptized of him, Ye offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
୭ଯୋହାନ୍ତାଃତେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମା ଇଦିନାଗେନ୍ତେ ହିଜୁଆକାନ୍ ପୁରାଃ ଫାରୁଶୀ ଆଡଃ ସାଦୁକି ହଡ଼କକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଏ ବିଙ୍ଗ୍କଆଃ ହନ୍କ!” ହିଜୁଃତାନ୍ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏନେସେଦ୍ଏତେ ନିର୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ “ଅକଏ ଆପେକେ ଚେତାୱାଦ୍ପେୟାଏ?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
୮ଆପେ ସାର୍ତିଗି ପାପ୍ଏତେ ହେୟାତିଙ୍ଗ୍କାଦ୍ରେଦ ଆପେୟାଃ ବୁଗିନ୍ କାମିତେ ଉଦୁବେନ୍ପେ । ଆଡଃ ଆବ୍ରାହାମ୍ ଆଲେୟାଃ ଆପୁ ତାନିଃ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆପେ ଡିଡିକେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିତାନ୍ଲଃ ନେ ସାଜାଇଏତେ ବାଞ୍ଚାୱାଃଲେ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଲ୍ପେ ଉଡ଼ୁଃୟା । ଚିୟାଃଚି ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆପେକେ କାଜିୟାପେ ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଦ ନେ ଦିରିକଏତେ ଆବ୍ରାହାମ୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ହନ୍କଏ ବାଇଦାଡ଼ିୟା!
9 And even now the axe also lieth at the root of the trees: every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
୯ଆଡଃ ନାହାଁଃ ଦାରୁରେୟାଃ ବୁଟାରେ ହାକେ ମାଣ୍ଡାୱା କାନା; ଅକନ୍ ଦାରୁ ବୁଗିନ୍ ଜ କା ଜଅଃ'ଆ ଏନାକେ ମାଗଃଆ ଆଡଃ ସେଙ୍ଗେଲ୍ରେ ହୁରାଙ୍ଗ୍ଅଃଆ ।”
10 And the multitudes asked him, saying, What then must we do?
୧୦ଏନ୍ତେ ଗାଦେଲ୍ ହଡ଼କ ଇନିଃକେ କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ, “ତାବ୍ଦ ଆଲେ ଚିନାଃଲେ ଚିକାୟା?”
11 And he answered and said unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath food, let him do likewise.
୧୧ଯୋହାନ୍ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼ାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଅକଏତାଃରେ ବାରିଆ ତୁସିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲିଜାଃ ମେନାଃ, ଇନିଃ ଅକଏତାଃରେ ବାନଆଃ ଇନିଃକେ ମିଦ୍ ହାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏମାଇକାଏ, ଆଡଃ ଅକଏତାଃରେ ଜମେୟାଁ ମେନାଃ, ଇନିଃହ ଏନ୍କାଗି ହାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ୟେଁକାଏ ।”
12 And there came also publicans to be baptized, and they said unto him, Teacher, what must we do?
୧୨ଆଡଃ ମାଲ୍ହାରମ୍କହ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମା ଇଦିନାଙ୍ଗ୍କ ହିଜୁଃୟାନା ଆଡଃ ଯୋହାନ୍କେକ କୁଲିକିୟାଃ, “ହେ ଗୁରୁ ଆଲେ ଚିନାଃଲେ ଚିକାଏୟା?”
13 And he said unto them, Extort no more than that which is appointed you.
୧୩ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିକେଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆପେକେ ଚିମିୟାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଇଦିନାଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଜିୟାକାନା, ଏନାଏତେ ଆଦ୍କା ଆଲ୍ପେ ହାରୋମେୟାଁ ।”
14 And soldiers also asked him, saying, And we, what must we do? And he said unto them, Extort from no man by violence, neither accuse [any one] wrongfully; and be content with your wages.
୧୪ଆଡଃ ପାଲ୍ଟାନ୍କ ଯୋହାନ୍କେକ କୁଲିକିୟାଃ, “ଆଲେ ଚିନାଃଲେ ଚିକାୟା?” ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିକେଦ୍କଆଏ, “ପେଡ଼େଃତେ ଚାଏ ବେଦାତେ ଆଡଃ ହାଉକାଅକେଦ୍ତେ ଜେତାଏୟାଃ ଖୁର୍ଜି ଆଲ୍ପେ ଇଦିୟା ଆଡଃ ଆପେୟାଃ ନାଲାରେ ସୁକୁଆକାନ୍ପେ ।”
15 And as the people were in expectation, and all men reasoned in their hearts concerning John, whether haply he were the Christ;
୧୫ସବେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ବାଞ୍ଚାଅନିଃକେ ନେଲ୍ହରାତାନ୍କ ତାଇକେନ୍ ହରାତେ, ଯୋହାନ୍କେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ୍ ତାନିଃ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆକଆଃ ମନ୍ରେ ପାହାମ୍ ତାଇକେନାକ ।
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire:
୧୬ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ଯୋହାନ୍ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିକେଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ଦ ଦାଆଃତେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମାପେ ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ମେନ୍ଦ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ଏତେ ପେଡ଼େୟାନ୍ନିଃ ହିଜୁଃତାନାଏ, ଇନିୟାଃ ଖାର୍ପାରେୟାଃ ତନଲ୍ ରାଡ଼ାଏ ଲେକାନିଃହ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ନାହାଁଲିଙ୍ଗ୍ । ଇନିଃ ଆପେକେ ପାବିତାର୍ ଆତ୍ମା ଆଡଃ ସେଙ୍ଗେଲ୍ତେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମାପେୟା ।
17 whose fan is in his hand, thoroughly to cleanse his threshing-floor, and to gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.
୧୭ଆୟାଃ ତିଃଇରେ ହାଟାଆଃ ମେନାଃ, ଏନାତେ କଲମ୍ରେୟାଃ ଗହମ୍ ଆଡଃ ବାବା ଗୁମ୍ ସାଫାକେଦ୍ତେ ଆୟାଃ ଭାଣ୍ଡାର୍ ଅଡ଼ାଃରେ ମାଣ୍ଡାଅୟା ଆଡଃ ପେଟେଃକେ କା ଇଣିଁଜଃ ସେଙ୍ଗେଲ୍ରେ ଅଣ୍ଡର୍ଏଣ୍ଡାଗେୟା ।”
18 With many other exhortations therefore preached he good tidings unto the people;
୧୮ନେ ଲେକା ଆଡଃଗି ପୁରାଃ ଏଟାଃ ଇନିତୁ କାଜିକତେ ଯୋହାନ୍ ହଡ଼କକେ ସୁକୁକାଜି ଉଦୁବାକତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା । ଆଡଃ ମନ୍ରୁହାଡ଼୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ଆଚୁକେଦ୍କଆ ।
19 but Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother’s wife, and for all the evil things which Herod had done,
୧୯ମେନ୍ଦ ମିଦ୍ ହାନାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ରେନ୍ ରାଜା ହେରୋଦ୍ ଆୟାଃ ହାଗାତେୟାଃ କୁଡ଼ି ହେରୋଦିୟାଲଃ ଆଣ୍ଦିୟାନ୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆଡଃ ହେରୋଦ୍ କାମିକେଦ୍ ସବେନ୍ ଏତ୍କାନାଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଯୋହାନ୍ ହେରୋଦ୍କେ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ମଚାକିୟାଏ ।
20 added this also to them all, that he shut up John in prison.
୨୦ଏନା ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ହେରୋଦ୍ ଯୋହାନ୍କେ ଜେହେଲ୍କିୟାଏ ଆଡଃ ନେ ଲେକାତେ ଇନିଃ ଆୟାଃ ଏତ୍କାନାଃକେ ଆଦ୍କାକେଦା ।
21 Now it came to pass, when all the people were baptized, that, Jesus also having been baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
୨୧ସବେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମାୟାନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ହଗି ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମାୟାନାଏ । ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃ ବିନ୍ତିତାନ୍ ଇମ୍ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ସିର୍ମା ନିଜ୍ୟାନା,
22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, upon him, and a voice came out of heaven, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
୨୨ଆଡଃ ପାବିତାର୍ ଆତ୍ମା ଦୁଦୁମୁଲ୍ଲେକା ନେଲଃ ହଡ଼୍ମ, ୟୀଶୁଆଃ ଚେତାନ୍ରେ ଆଡ଼୍ଗୁୟାନା ଆଡଃ “ଆମ୍ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ଦୁଲାଡ଼୍ ହନ୍, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ପୁରାଃ ସୁକୁଆମ୍ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍” ମେନ୍ତେ ସିର୍ମାଏତେ ଆୟୁମ୍ୟାନା ।
23 And Jesus himself, when he began [to teach], was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the [son] of Heli,
୨୩ୟୀଶୁ ଆୟାଃ ସେୱାଏଟେଦ୍କେଦ୍ ଇମ୍ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିରିଶ୍ ବାରାଷ୍ରେନ୍ ଲେକାଏ ତାଇକେନା ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃ ହଡ଼କଆଃ ସାରିଲେକାତେ ଯୋଷେଫ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଆଡଃ ଯୋଷେଫ୍ ଏଲିଆଃ ହନ୍,
24 the [son] of Matthat, the [son] of Levi, the [son] of Melchi, the [son] of Jannai, the [son] of Joseph,
୨୪ଏଲି ମାତ୍ଥାତ୍ତାଃ ହନ୍, ମାତ୍ଥାତ୍ ଲେବୀଆଃ ହନ୍, ଲେବୀ ମଲ୍ଖିଆଃ ହନ୍, ମଲ୍ଖି ଯାନ୍ନୟଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯନ୍ନୟ ଯୋଷେଫ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
25 the [son] of Mattathias, the [son] of Amos, the [son] of Nahum, the [son] of Esli, the [son] of Naggai,
୨୫ଯୋଷେଫ୍ ମାତ୍ତିଥ୍ୟାରାଃ ହନ୍, ମାତ୍ତିଥ୍ୟା ଆମୋସ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଆମୋସ୍ ନାହୁମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ନାହୁମ୍ ଏସ୍ଲିଆଃ ହନ୍, ଏସ୍ଲି ନଗୟଆଃ ହନ୍,
26 the [son] of Maath, the [son] of Mattathias, the [son] of Semein, the [son] of Josech, the [son] of Joda,
୨୬ନଗୟ ମହଥଆଃ ହନ୍, ମହଥ ମତ୍ତିଥ୍ୟାରାଃ ହନ୍, ମତ୍ତିଥ୍ୟା ଶିମୟୀଆଃ ହନ୍, ଶିମୟୀ ଯୋସେଖାୟାଃ ହନ୍, ଯୋସେଖା ଯୋଦାୟାଃ ହନ୍,
27 the [son] of Joanan, the [son] of Rhesa, the [son] of Zerubbabel, the [son] of Shealtiel, the [son] of Neri,
୨୭ଯୋଦା ଯୋହାନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯୋହାନ୍ ରେଷାଆଃ ହନ୍, ରେଷା ଜିରୁବାବେଲ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଜିରୁବାବେଲ୍ ଶଲ୍ଟିୟେଲ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଶଲ୍ଥୀୟେଲ୍ ନେରୀଆଃ ହନ୍,
28 the [son] of Melchi, the [son] of Addi, the [son] of Cosam, the [son] of Elmadam, the [son] of Er,
୨୮ନେରୀ ମଲ୍ଖିଆଃ ହନ୍, ମଲ୍ଖି ଅଦ୍ଦୀଆଃ ହନ୍, ଅଦ୍ଦୀ କୋସାମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, କୋସାମ୍ ଏଲ୍ମାଦାନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଏଲ୍ମାଦାନ୍ ଏର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଏର୍ ଯିହୋଶିୟରାଃ ହନ୍,
29 the [son] of Jesus, the [son] of Eliezer, the [son] of Jorim, the [son] of Matthat, the [son] of Levi,
୨୯ଯିହୋଶିୟ ଏଲିୟାଜାର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଏଲିୟାଜାର୍ ଯୋରିମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯୋରିମ୍ ମାତ୍ଥାତ୍ତାଃ ହନ୍, ମାତ୍ଥାତ୍ ଲେବୀୟାଃ ହନ୍,
30 the [son] of Symeon, the [son] of Judas, the [son] of Joseph, the [son] of Jonam, the [son] of Eliakim,
୩୦ଲେବୀ ଶିମୋନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଶିମୋନ୍ ଯିହୁଦାଃ ହନ୍, ଯିହୁଦା ଯୋଷେଫ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯୋଷେଫ୍ ଯୋନାମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯୋନାମ୍ ଏଲିୟାକିମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
31 the [son] of Melea, the [son] of Menna, the [son] of Mattatha, the [son] of Nathan, the [son] of David,
୩୧ଏଲିୟାକିମ୍ ମଲାହଆଃ ହନ୍, ମଲାହ ମନ୍ନାୟାଃ ହନ୍, ମନ୍ନା ମତ୍ତଥାୟାଃ ହନ୍, ମତ୍ତଥା ନାଥାନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ନାଥାନ୍ ଦାଉଦ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
32 the [son] of Jesse, the [son] of Obed, the [son] of Boaz, the [son] of Salmon, the [son] of Nahshon,
୩୨ଦାଉଦ୍ ଯିଶିଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯିଶି ଓବେଦ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଓବେଦ୍ ବୋୟାଜ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ବୋୟାଜ୍ ଶାଲ୍ମନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଶାଲ୍ମନ୍ ନହଶୋନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
33 the [son] of Amminadab, the [son] of Arni, the [son] of Hezron, the [son] of Perez, the [son] of Judah,
୩୩ନହଶୋନ୍ ଅମ୍ମୀନାଦବ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଅମ୍ମୀନାଦବ୍ ଅଦ୍ମିନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଅଦ୍ମିନ୍ ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣୀଆଃ ହନ୍, ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣୀ ହେସ୍ରୋନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ହେସ୍ରୋନ୍ ପେରସ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ପେରସ୍ ଯିହୁଦାଃ ହନ୍,
34 the [son] of Jacob, the [son] of Isaac, the [son] of Abraham, the [son] of Terah, the [son] of Nahor,
୩୪ଯିହୁଦା ଯାକୁବ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯାକୁବ୍ ଇସାକ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଇସାକ୍ ଆବ୍ରାହାମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଆବ୍ରାହାମ୍ ଥେରହଆଃ ହନ୍, ଥେରହ ନାହୋର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
35 the [son] of Serug, the [son] of Reu, the [son] of Peleg, the [son] of Eber, the [son] of Shelah,
୩୫ନାହୋର୍ ସରୁଗଆଃ ହନ୍, ସରୁଗ ରଗୁଆଃ ହନ୍, ରଗୁ ଫେଲଗ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଫେଲଗ୍ ଏବର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଏବର୍ ଶେଲହଆଃ ହନ୍,
36 the [son] of Cainan, the [son] of Arphaxad, the [son] of Shem, the [son] of Noah, the [son] of Lamech,
୩୬ଶେଲହ କେନାନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, କେନାନ୍ ଅର୍ଫକ୍ଷାଦ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଅର୍ଫକ୍ଷାଦ୍ ଶେମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଶେମ୍ ନୁହୁଁଆଃ ହନ୍, ନୁହୁଁ ଲାମାକ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
37 the [son] of Methuselah, the [son] of Enoch, the [son] of Jared, the [son] of Mahalaleel, the [son] of Cainan,
୩୭ଲାମାକ୍ ମଥୁଶେଲହଆଃ ହନ୍, ମଥୁଶେଲହ ହନୋକ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ହନୋକ୍ ଯେରଦ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଯେରଦ୍ ମହଲ୍ଲେଲ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ମହଲ୍ଲେଲ୍ କେନନ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍,
38 the [son] of Enos, the [son] of Seth, the [son] of Adam, the [son] of God.
୩୮କେନନ୍ ଏନୋଶ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଏନୋଶ୍ ଶେଥ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଶେଥ୍ ଆଦାମ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍, ଆଦାମ୍ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍ ।
