John 4
1 When therefore the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John
ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਨਾਮੱਜਯਤ੍ ਕੇਵਲੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਅਮੱਜਯਤ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੋਹਨੋ(ਅ)ਧਿਕਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਨ੍ ਸ ਕਰੋਤਿ ਮੱਜਯਤਿ ਚ,
2 (although Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples),
ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਨ ਇਮਾਂ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਮਸ਼੍ਰੁʼਣ੍ਵਨ੍ ਇਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਰਵਗਤ੍ਯ
3 he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee.
ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਦੇਸ਼ੰ ਵਿਹਾਯ ਪੁਨ ਰ੍ਗਾਲੀਲਮ੍ ਆਗਤ੍|
4 And he must needs pass through Samaria.
ਤਤਃ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਮਦ੍ਯੇਨ ਤੇਨ ਗਨ੍ਤਵ੍ਯੇ ਸਤਿ
5 So he cometh to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph:
ਯਾਕੂਬ੍ ਨਿਜਪੁਤ੍ਰਾਯ ਯੂਸ਼਼ਫੇ ਯਾਂ ਭੂਮਿਮ੍ ਅਦਦਾਤ੍ ਤਤ੍ਸਮੀਪਸ੍ਥਾਯਿ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਖਾਰ੍ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਗਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੰਨਿਧਾਵੁਪਾਸ੍ਥਾਤ੍|
6 and Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
ਤਤ੍ਰ ਯਾਕੂਬਃ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਰਾਸੀਤ੍; ਤਦਾ ਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਯਾਮਵੇਲਾਯਾਂ ਜਾਤਾਯਾਂ ਸ ਮਾਰ੍ਗੇ ਸ਼੍ਰਮਾਪੰਨਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਹੇਃ ਪਾਰ੍ਸ਼੍ਵੇ ਉਪਾਵਿਸ਼ਤ੍|
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
ਏਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਕਾਚਿਤ੍ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣੀਯਾ ਯੋਸ਼਼ਿਤ੍ ਤੋਯੋੱਤੋਲਨਾਰ੍ਥਮ੍ ਤਤ੍ਰਾਗਮਤ੍
8 For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy food.
ਤਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਖਾਦ੍ਯਦ੍ਰਵ੍ਯਾਣਿ ਕ੍ਰੇਤੁੰ ਨਗਰਮ੍ ਅਗੱਛਨ੍|
9 The Samaritan woman therefore saith unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman? (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣੀਯਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਯੋਸ਼਼ਿਤਮ੍ ਵ੍ਯਾਹਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਤ੍ ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਪਾਨੀਯੰ ਪਾਤੁੰ ਦੇਹਿ| ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣੀਯੈਃ ਸਾਕੰ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਨ ਵ੍ਯਵਾਹਰਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਮਾੱਧੇਤੋਃ ਸਾਕਥਯਤ੍ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣੀਯਾ ਯੋਸ਼਼ਿਤਦਹੰ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯੋਸਿ ਕਥੰ ਮੱਤਃ ਪਾਨੀਯੰ ਪਾਤੁਮ੍ ਇੱਛਸਿ?
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
ਤਤੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਵਦਦ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਯੱਦਾਨੰ ਤਤ੍ਕੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ ਪਾਨੀਯੰ ਪਾਤੁੰ ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਯ ਇੱਥੰ ਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਯਾਚਤੇ ਸ ਵਾ ਕ ਇਤਿ ਚੇਦਜ੍ਞਾਸ੍ਯਥਾਸ੍ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਤਮਯਾਚਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਥਾਃ ਸ ਚ ਤੁਭ੍ਯਮਮ੍ਰੁʼਤੰ ਤੋਯਮਦਾਸ੍ਯਤ੍|
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: whence then hast thou that living water?
ਤਦਾ ਸਾ ਸੀਮਨ੍ਤਿਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਤਿ, ਹੇ ਮਹੇੱਛ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਰ੍ਗਮ੍ਭੀਰੋ ਭਵਤੋ ਨੀਰੋੱਤੋਲਨਪਾਤ੍ਰੰ ਨਾਸ੍ਤੀ ਚ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਤਦਮ੍ਰੁʼਤੰ ਕੀਲਾਲੰ ਕੁਤਃ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਸ੍ਯਸਿ?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his sons, and his cattle?
ਯੋਸ੍ਮਭ੍ਯਮ੍ ਇਮਮਨ੍ਧੂੰ ਦਦੌ, ਯਸ੍ਯ ਚ ਪਰਿਜਨਾ ਗੋਮੇਸ਼਼ਾਦਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਹੇਃ ਪਾਨੀਯੰ ਪਪੁਰੇਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ ਯੋਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ੋ ਯਾਕੂਬ੍ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦਪਿ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਮਹਾਨ੍ ਕਿੰ?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Every one that drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
ਤਤੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਕਥਯਦ੍ ਇਦੰ ਪਾਨੀਯੰ ਸਃ ਪਿਵਤਿ ਸ ਪੁਨਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ਾਰ੍ੱਤੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ,
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come all the way hither to draw.
ਤਦਾ ਸਾ ਵਨਿਤਾਕਥਯਤ੍ ਹੇ ਮਹੇੱਛ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਮਮ ਪੁਨਃ ਪੀਪਾਸਾ ਯਥਾ ਨ ਜਾਯਤੇ ਤੋਯੋੱਤੋਲਨਾਯ ਯਥਾਤ੍ਰਾਗਮਨੰ ਨ ਭਵਤਿ ਚ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਮਹ੍ਯੰ ਤੱਤੋਯੰ ਦੇਹੀ|
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
ਤਤੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੂਰਵਦਦ੍ਯਾਹਿ ਤਵ ਪਤਿਮਾਹੂਯ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ(ਅ)ਤ੍ਰਾਗੱਛ|
17 The woman answered and said unto him, I have no husband. Jesus saith unto her, Thou saidst well, I have no husband:
ਸਾ ਵਾਮਾਵਦਤ੍ ਮਮ ਪਤਿਰ੍ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ| ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਵਦਤ੍ ਮਮ ਪਤਿਰ੍ਨਾਸ੍ਤੀਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਭਦ੍ਰਮਵੋਚਃ|
18 for thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: this hast thou said truly.
ਯਤਸ੍ਤਵ ਪਞ੍ਚ ਪਤਯੋਭਵਨ੍ ਅਧੁਨਾ ਤੁ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਯਸ੍ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਸ ਤਵ ਭਰ੍ੱਤਾ ਨ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਮਿਦੰ ਸਤ੍ਯਮਵਾਦਿਃ|
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
ਤਦਾ ਸਾ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਗਦਿਤਵਤਿ ਹੇ ਮਹੇੱਛ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਏਕੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦੀਤਿ ਬੁੱਧੰ ਮਯਾ|
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪਿਤ੍ਰੁʼਲੋਕਾ ਏਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸ਼ਿਲੋੱਚਯੇ(ਅ)ਭਜਨ੍ਤ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਭਵਦ੍ਭਿਰੁਚ੍ਯਤੇ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ ਨਗਰੇ ਭਜਨਯੋਗ੍ਯੰ ਸ੍ਥਾਨਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ|
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father.
ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਵੋਚਤ੍ ਹੇ ਯੋਸ਼਼ਿਤ੍ ਮਮ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਹਿ ਯਦਾ ਯੂਯੰ ਕੇਵਲਸ਼ੈਲੇ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਵਾ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ ਨਗਰੇ ਪਿਤੁਰ੍ਭਜਨੰ ਨ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ ਕਾਲ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ ਆਯਾਤਿ|
22 Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
ਯੂਯੰ ਯੰ ਭਜਧ੍ਵੇ ਤੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਥ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਵਯੰ ਯੰ ਭਜਾਮਹੇ ਤੰ ਜਾਨੀਮਹੇ, ਯਤੋ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯਾਤ੍ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਜਾਯਤੇ|
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਦਾ ਸਤ੍ਯਭਕ੍ਤਾ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਸਤ੍ਯਰੂਪੇਣ ਚ ਪਿਤੁਰ੍ਭਜਨੰ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਸਮਯ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ ਆਯਾਤਿ, ਵਰਮ੍ ਇਦਾਨੀਮਪਿ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ; ਯਤ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ ਭਤ੍ਕਾਨ੍ ਪਿਤਾ ਚੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਤੇ|
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਆਤ੍ਮਾ; ਤਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਯੇ ਭਕ੍ਤਾਸ੍ਤੈਃ ਸ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਸਤ੍ਯਰੂਪੇਣ ਚ ਭਜਨੀਯਃ|
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called Christ): when he is come, he will declare unto us all things.
ਤਦਾ ਸਾ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਦੀਤ੍ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤੋ(ਅ)ਭਿਸ਼਼ਿਕ੍ਤਃ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ ਆਗਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਜਾਨਾਮਿ ਸ ਚ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਃ ਕਥਾ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am [he].
ਤਤੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਵਦਤ੍ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਕਥਨੰ ਕਰੋਮਿ ਯੋ(ਅ)ਹਮ੍ ਅਹਮੇਵ ਸ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ਃ|
27 And upon this came his disciples; and they marvelled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why speakest thou with her?
ਏਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸਮਯੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਥਾ ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਥੋਪਕਥਨੇ ਮਹਾਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਮ੍ ਅਮਨ੍ਯਨ੍ਤ ਤਥਾਪਿ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਕਿਮਿੱਛਤਿ? ਯਦ੍ਵਾ ਕਿਮਰ੍ਥਮ੍ ਏਤਯਾ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਕਥਾਂ ਕਥਯਤਿ? ਇਤਿ ਕੋਪਿ ਨਾਪ੍ਰੁʼੱਛਤ੍|
28 So the woman left her waterpot, and went away into the city, and saith to the people,
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਸਾ ਨਾਰੀ ਕਲਸ਼ੰ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਨਗਰਮਧ੍ਯੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਲੋਕੇਭ੍ਯੋਕਥਾਯਦ੍
29 Come, see a man, who told me all things that [ever] I did: can this be the Christ?
ਅਹੰ ਯਦ੍ਯਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਕਰਵੰ ਤਤ੍ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਮਹ੍ਯਮਕਥਯਦ੍ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਮਾਨਵਮੇਕਮ੍ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ ਰੁ ਕਿਮ੍ ਅਭਿਸ਼਼ਿਕ੍ਤੋ ਨ ਭਵਤਿ?
30 They went out of the city, and were coming to him.
ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਦ੍ ਬਹਿਰਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਾਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪਮ੍ ਆਯਨ੍|
31 In the mean while the disciples prayed him, saying, Rabbi, eat.
ਏਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਸਾਧਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰ ਵ੍ਯਾਹਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੁਃ ਹੇ ਗੁਰੋ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਭੂਕ੍ਤਾਂ|
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not.
ਤਤਃ ਸੋਵਦਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਰ੍ਯੰਨ ਜ੍ਞਾਯਤੇ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਮਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ|
33 The disciples therefore said one to another, Hath any man brought him [aught] to eat?
ਤਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼਼੍ਟੁਮ੍ ਆਰਮ੍ਭਨ੍ਤ, ਕਿਮਸ੍ਮੈ ਕੋਪਿ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਮਾਨੀਯ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍?
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.
ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਵੋਚਤ੍ ਮਤ੍ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕਸ੍ਯਾਭਿਮਤਾਨੁਰੂਪਕਰਣੰ ਤਸ੍ਯੈਵ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਸਿੱਧਿਕਾਰਣਞ੍ਚ ਮਮ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ|
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.
ਮਾਸਚਤੁਸ਼਼੍ਟਯੇ ਜਾਤੇ ਸ਼ਸ੍ਯਕਰ੍ੱਤਨਸਮਯੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਕਿੰ ਨੋਦ੍ਯਤੇ? ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਹੰ ਵਦਾਮਿ, ਸ਼ਿਰ ਉੱਤੋਲ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੇਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਨਿਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ, ਇਦਾਨੀਂ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਨਯੋਗ੍ਯਾਨਿ ਸ਼ੁਕ੍ਲਵਰ੍ਣਾਨ੍ਯਭਵਨ੍|
36 He that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. (aiōnios g166)
ਯਸ਼੍ਛਿਨੱਤਿ ਸ ਵੇਤਨੰ ਲਭਤੇ ਅਨਨ੍ਤਾਯੁਃਸ੍ਵਰੂਪੰ ਸ਼ਸ੍ਯੰ ਸ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਾਤਿ ਚ, ਤੇਨੈਵ ਵਪ੍ਤਾ ਛੇੱਤਾ ਚ ਯੁਗਪਦ੍ ਆਨਨ੍ਦਤਃ| (aiōnios g166)
37 For herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
ਇੱਥੰ ਸਤਿ ਵਪਤ੍ਯੇਕਸ਼੍ਛਿਨਤ੍ਯਨ੍ਯ ਇਤਿ ਵਚਨੰ ਸਿੱਧ੍ਯਤਿ|
38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored: others have labored, and ye are entered into their labor.
ਯਤ੍ਰ ਯੂਯੰ ਨ ਪਰ੍ੱਯਸ਼੍ਰਾਮ੍ਯਤ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਸ਼ਸ੍ਯੰ ਛੇੱਤੁੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰੈਰਯਮ੍ ਅਨ੍ਯੇ ਜਨਾਃਪਰ੍ੱਯਸ਼੍ਰਾਮ੍ਯਨ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰਗਸ੍ਯ ਫਲਮ੍ ਅਲਭਧ੍ਵਮ੍|
39 And from that city many of the Samaritans believed on him because of the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all things that [ever] I did.
ਯਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਕਾਲੇ ਯਦ੍ਯਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਕਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਤਤ੍ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਸ ਮਹ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਕਥਯਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯਾ ਵਨਿਤਾਯਾ ਇਦੰ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰਨਗਰਨਿਵਾਸਿਨੋ ਬਹਵਃ ਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਣੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸਨ੍|
40 So when the Samaritans came unto him, they besought him to abide with them: and he abode there two days.
ਤਥਾ ਚ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਨ੍ਤਿਕੇ ਸਮੁਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਸ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸੰਨਿਧੌ ਕਤਿਚਿਦ੍ ਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਸ੍ਥਾਤੁੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਵਿਨਯਮ੍ ਅਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸ ਦਿਨਦ੍ਵਯੰ ਤਤ੍ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਨ੍ਯਵਸ਼਼੍ਟਤ੍
41 And many more believed because of his word;
ਤਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯੋਪਦੇਸ਼ੇਨ ਬਹਵੋ(ਅ)ਪਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸ੍ਯ
42 and they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speaking: for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world.
ਤਾਂ ਯੋਸ਼਼ਾਮਵਦਨ੍ ਕੇਵਲੰ ਤਵ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਮ ਇਤਿ ਨ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਜਗਤੋ(ਅ)ਭਿਸ਼਼ਿਕ੍ਤਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਾਤੇਤਿ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਵਯੰ ਸ੍ਵਯਮੇਵਾਜ੍ਞਾਸਮਹਿ|
43 And after the two days he went forth from thence into Galilee.
ਸ੍ਵਦੇਸ਼ੇ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਕ੍ਤੁਃ ਸਤ੍ਕਾਰੋ ਨਾਸ੍ਤੀਤਿ ਯਦ੍ਯਪਿ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦਤ੍ਵਾਕਥਯਤ੍
44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honor in his own country.
ਤਥਾਪਿ ਦਿਵਸਦ੍ਵਯਾਤ੍ ਪਰੰ ਸ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਦ੍ ਗਾਲੀਲੰ ਗਤਵਾਨ੍|
45 So when he came into Galilee, the Galilæans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਯੇ ਗਾਲੀਲੀ ਲਿਯਲੋਕਾ ਉਤ੍ਸਵੇ ਗਤਾ ਉਤ੍ਸਵਸਮਯੇ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ੍ ਨਗਰੇ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਃ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਅਪਸ਼੍ਯਨ੍ ਤੇ ਗਾਲੀਲਮ੍ ਆਗਤੰ ਤਮ੍ ਆਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਨ੍|
46 He came therefore again unto Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰਮ੍ ਯੀਸ਼ੁ ਰ੍ਯਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਕਾੰਨਾਨਗਰੇ ਜਲੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸਮ੍ ਆਕਰੋਤ੍ ਤਤ੍ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੰ ਪੁਨਰਗਾਤ੍| ਤਸ੍ਮਿੰਨੇਵ ਸਮਯੇ ਕਸ੍ਯਚਿਦ੍ ਰਾਜਸਭਾਸ੍ਤਾਰਸ੍ਯ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਃ ਕਫਰ੍ਨਾਹੂਮਪੁਰੀ ਰੋਗਗ੍ਰਸ੍ਤ ਆਸੀਤ੍|
47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judæa into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought [him] that he would come down, and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.
ਸ ਯੇਹੂਦੀਯਦੇਸ਼ਾਦ੍ ਯੀਸ਼ੋ ਰ੍ਗਾਲੀਲਾਗਮਨਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਮ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥ੍ਯ ਵ੍ਯਾਹ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਮਮ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਯੇਣ ਕਾਲ ਆਸੰਨਃ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਤੰ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਥੰ ਕਰੋਤੁ|
48 Jesus therefore said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will in no wise believe.
ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਕਥਯਦ੍ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਚਿਤ੍ਰੰ ਚਿਹ੍ਨੰ ਚ ਨ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾ ਯੂਯੰ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯੇਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ|
49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
ਤਤਃ ਸ ਸਭਾਸਦਵਦਤ੍ ਹੇ ਮਹੇੱਛ ਮਮ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੇ ਨ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਭਵਾਨਾਗੱਛਤੁ|
50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. The man believed the word that Jesus spake unto him, and he went his way.
ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਮਵਦਦ੍ ਗੱਛ ਤਵ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੋ(ਅ)ਜੀਵੀਤ੍ ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨੋਕ੍ਤਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਸ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸ੍ਯ ਗਤਵਾਨ੍|
51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, saying, that his son lived.
ਗਮਨਕਾਲੇ ਮਾਰ੍ਗਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਦਾਸਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਤ੍ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯਾਵਦਨ੍ ਭਵਤਃ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੋ(ਅ)ਜੀਵੀਤ੍|
52 So he inquired of them the hour when he began to amend. They said therefore unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
ਤਤਃ ਕੰ ਕਾਲਮਾਰਭ੍ਯ ਰੋਗਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਰਾਰਮ੍ਭੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਇਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਤੈਰੁਕ੍ਤੰ ਹ੍ਯਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧਦਣ੍ਡਦ੍ਵਯਾਧਿਕਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਯਾਮੇ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਜ੍ਵਰਤ੍ਯਾਗੋ(ਅ)ਭਵਤ੍|
53 So the father knew that [it was] at that hour in which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਵ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੋ(ਅ)ਜੀਵੀਤ੍ ਪਿਤਾ ਤਦ੍ਬੁੱਧ੍ਵਾ ਸਪਰਿਵਾਰੋ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸੀਤ੍|
54 This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judæa into Galilee.
ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਦੇਸ਼ਾਦ੍ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਗਾਲੀਲਿ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰੇਤਦ੍ ਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਮ੍ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਕਰੋਤ੍|
