Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Jehovah, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
யெகோவாவினுடைய கரம் என்மீது இருந்தது, அவர் தமது ஆவியானவரால் என்னை வெளியே கொண்டுபோய் ஒரு பள்ளத்தாக்கின் நடுவில் நிறுத்தினார். அது எலும்புகளால் நிறைந்திருந்தது.
2 And he caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
அவர் என்னை அவைகளின் மத்தியில் முன்னும் பின்னுமாக நடத்தினார். அங்கே பள்ளத்தாக்கின் தரையில், பெருந்தொகையான எலும்புகளை நான் கண்டேன். அவை மிகவும் உலர்ந்திருந்தன.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.
அவர் என்னிடம், “மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த எலும்புகள் உயிர்வாழுமா?” எனக் கேட்டார். அதற்கு நான், “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, அதை நீர் மட்டுமே அறிவீர்” என்றேன்.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy over these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah.
பின்பு அவர் என்னிடம், “நீ இந்த எலும்புகளுக்கு இறைவாக்குரைத்து, அவைகளுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘உலர்ந்த எலும்புகளே, யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்!
5 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.
ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா இந்த எலும்புகளுக்கு கூறுவது இதுவே: நான் உங்களுக்குள் சுவாசத்தை நுழையச்செய்வேன், அப்பொழுது, நீங்கள் உயிரடைவீர்கள்.
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
நான் உங்களுக்கு தசை நார்களை இணைத்து, உங்கள்மீது சதையை வரப்பண்ணி, தோலினால் மூடுவேன். உங்களுக்குள் சுவாசம் வரச்செய்வேன். நீங்கள் உயிரடைவீர்கள். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல்லும்படி சொன்னார்.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and, behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் இறைவாக்குரைத்தேன். நான் இறைவாக்குரைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கையில் சத்தமொன்று உண்டாயிற்று, அது ஏதோ உரசும் சத்தம். அங்கிருந்த எலும்புகளுடன் எலும்புகள் இணைந்து ஒன்றாயின.
8 And I beheld, and, lo, there were sinews upon them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.
நான் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். அவைகளில் தசை நார்களும் சதைகளும் தோன்றின. தோல் அவற்றை மூடிற்று. ஆனாலும் அவைகளில் சுவாசம் இல்லாதிருந்தது.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
பின்பு அவர் என்னிடம் சொன்னதாவது, “நீ சுவாசத்தை நோக்கி இறைவாக்கு உரை. மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இறைவாக்குரைத்து அதற்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: சுவாசமே, நீ நான்கு திசைகளிலுமிருந்து வந்து, கொல்லப்பட்ட இவர்கள் உயிரடையும்படியாக, இவர்களுக்குள் போ என்று சொல் என்றார்.’”
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
அவ்வாறு அவர் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் சொன்னேன். சுவாசம் அவைகளுக்குள் புகுந்தது. அவை உயிரடைந்து தங்கள் கால்களை ஊன்றி, ஒரு பெரும்படையாக நின்றார்கள்.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.
பின்பு அவர் என்னிடம் சொன்னதாவது, “மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த எலும்புகளே முழு இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பம் ஆகும். அவர்களோ, ‘எங்கள் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்து எங்கள் எதிர்பார்ப்பு அற்றுப்போயிற்று; நாங்களும் இல்லாமல் போனோம்’ என சொல்கிறார்கள்.
12 Therefore prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, O my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.
ஆகவே, நீ இறைவாக்குரைத்து அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: என் மக்களே, நான் பிரேதக்குழிகளைத் திறந்து, அங்கிருந்து உங்களை வெளியே கொண்டுவரப் போகிறேன். மறுபடியும் நான் உங்களை இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டுக்குக் கொண்டுவருவேன்.
13 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have opened your graves, and caused you to come up out of your graves, O my people.
நான் உங்கள் பிரேதக்குழிகளைத் திறந்து, அவற்றிலிருந்து உங்களை வெளியே கொண்டுவரும்போது, என் மக்களாகிய நீங்கள் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.
14 And I will put my Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken it and performed it, saith Jehovah.
நான் என் ஆவியானவரை உங்களுக்குள் அனுப்புவேன். நீங்கள் உயிரடைவீர்கள். நான் உங்களை உங்கள் சொந்த நாட்டில் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன். அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன்; நானே இதைச் செய்தேன் என நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.’”
15 The word of Jehovah came again unto me, saying,
யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:
16 And thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:
“மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ ஒரு தடியை எடுத்து, ‘இது யூதாவுக்கும் அவனோடு கூட்டுச்சேர்ந்திருக்கும் இஸ்ரயேலருக்கும் சொந்தமானது’ என அதில் எழுது. பின்பு வேறொரு தடியை எடுத்து, ‘இது எப்பிராயீமின் தடி; இது யோசேப்புக்கும் அவனோடு கூட்டுச்சேர்ந்திருக்கும் இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தார் எல்லோருக்கும் சொந்தமானது’ என அதில் எழுது.
17 and join them for thee one to another into one stick, that they may become one in thy hand.
அதன்பின் அவை உனது கையில் ஒன்றாகும்படி அவைகளை ஒன்றாய்ச் சேர்த்து ஒரு தடியாக இணை.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not show us what thou meanest by these?
“இதனால் நீ எதைக் கருதுகிறாய்? ‘நமக்குக் கூறமாட்டாயா?’ என உன் நாட்டவர் உன்னைக் கேட்கும்போது,
19 say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.
நீ அவர்களிடம் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே; நான் எப்பிராயீமுக்கும், அதைக் கூட்டுச்சேர்ந்திருக்கும் இஸ்ரயேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்கும் உரிய யோசேப்பின் கோலை எடுத்து, அதை யூதாவின் கோலோடு இணைத்து, ஒரே கோலாக்குவேன். அவைகள் என் கரத்தில் ஒன்றாயிருக்கும்.’
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thy hand before their eyes.
நீ எழுதிய அந்த கோல்ககளை அவர்களுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பிடித்து,
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, whither they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான் இஸ்ரயேலரை அவர்கள் போயிருக்கும் நாடுகளிடையேயிருந்து வருவிப்பேன். நான் அவர்களை எல்லா இடங்களிலுமிருந்தும் ஒன்றுதிரட்டி, மீண்டும் அவர்களுடைய சொந்த நாட்டுக்கே கொண்டுவருவேன்.
22 and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;
நான் அவர்களை இஸ்ரயேலின் மலைகளிலும் நிலப்பரப்பிலும் ஒரே நாடாக்குவேன். அங்கே இனியொருபோதும் இரு நாடுகள் இருப்பதில்லை. இரு அரசுகளாக பிரிக்கப்படுவதுமில்லை. அவர்கள் எல்லோர்மேலும் ஒரே அரசனே ஆளுகை செய்வான்.
23 neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
அவர்கள் தங்கள் விக்கிரகங்களாலோ, வெறுக்கத்தக்க உருவச் சிலைகளாலோ அல்லது எந்தவொரு குற்றச் செயல்களாலோ இனியொருபோதும் தங்களை கறைப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள். ஏனெனில் அவர்களைப் பின்னடையச்செய்யும் எல்லா பாவங்களினின்றும் நான் அவர்களை விடுவித்து, அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரிப்பேன். அவர்கள் என் மக்களாயிருப்பார்கள். நான் அவர்கள் இறைவனாயிருப்பேன்.
24 And my servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in mine ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.
“‘என் அடியவனாகிய தாவீது அவர்களின் அரசனாயிருப்பான். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒரே மேய்ப்பனைக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் எனது சட்டங்களைப் பின்பற்றி, என் விதிமுறைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளக் கவனமாயிருப்பார்கள்.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, for ever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.
நான் என் அடியவனாகிய யாக்கோபுக்குக் கொடுத்ததும், உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்கள் வாழ்ந்ததுமாகிய நாட்டிலே அவர்கள் குடியிருப்பார்கள். அவர்களும், அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளும், பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளும் என்றென்றும் அங்கே வாழ்வார்கள். என் அடியவனான தாவீது என்றென்றும் அவர்களுடைய இளவரசனாக இருப்பான்.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
நான் அவர்களுடன் சமாதான உடன்படிக்கையொன்றைச் செய்வேன். அது ஒரு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாயிருக்கும். நான் அவர்களை நிலைநிறுத்தி, அவர்களுடைய எண்ணிக்கையைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, என்றென்றைக்கும் என் பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்தை அவர்கள் மத்தியில் வைப்பேன்.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
எனது இருப்பிடம் அவர்களோடிருக்கும். நான் அவர்களுடைய இறைவனாய் இருப்பேன். அவர்கள் என் மக்களாயிருப்பார்கள்.
28 And the nations shall know that I am Jehovah that sanctifieth Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
எனது பரிசுத்த ஆலயம் என்றென்றும் அவர்கள் மத்தியில் இருக்கும்போது, யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இஸ்ரயேலைப் பரிசுத்தம் பண்ணுகிறவர் என்று பிற தேசத்தார்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.’”
