Romans 10
1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved.
ഹേ ഭ്രാതര ഇസ്രായേലീയലോകാ യത് പരിത്രാണം പ്രാപ്നുവന്തി തദഹം മനസാഭിലഷൻ ഈശ്വരസ്യ സമീപേ പ്രാർഥയേ|
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
യത ഈശ്വരേ തേഷാം ചേഷ്ടാ വിദ്യത ഇത്യത്രാഹം സാക്ഷ്യസ്മി; കിന്തു തേഷാം സാ ചേഷ്ടാ സജ്ഞാനാ നഹി,
3 For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
യതസ്ത ഈശ്വരദത്തം പുണ്യമ് അവിജ്ഞായ സ്വകൃതപുണ്യം സ്ഥാപയിതുമ് ചേഷ്ടമാനാ ഈശ്വരദത്തസ്യ പുണ്യസ്യ നിഘ്നത്വം ന സ്വീകുർവ്വന്തി|
4 For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
ഖ്രീഷ്ട ഏകൈകവിശ്വാസിജനായ പുണ്യം ദാതും വ്യവസ്ഥായാഃ ഫലസ്വരൂപോ ഭവതി|
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, “The one who does them will live by them.”
വ്യവസ്ഥാപാലനേന യത് പുണ്യം തത് മൂസാ വർണയാമാസ, യഥാ, യോ ജനസ്താം പാലയിഷ്യതി സ തദ്ദ്വാരാ ജീവിഷ്യതി|
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down);
കിന്തു പ്രത്യയേന യത് പുണ്യം തദ് ഏതാദൃശം വാക്യം വദതി, കഃ സ്വർഗമ് ആരുഹ്യ ഖ്രീഷ്ടമ് അവരോഹയിഷ്യതി?
7 or, 'Who will descend into the Abyss (Abyssos g12)?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)"
കോ വാ പ്രേതലോകമ് അവരുഹ്യ ഖ്രീഷ്ടം മൃതഗണമധ്യാദ് ആനേഷ്യതീതി വാക് മനസി ത്വയാ ന ഗദിതവ്യാ| (Abyssos g12)
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we preach:
തർഹി കിം ബ്രവീതി? തദ് വാക്യം തവ സമീപസ്ഥമ് അർഥാത് തവ വദനേ മനസി ചാസ്തേ, തച്ച വാക്യമ് അസ്മാഭിഃ പ്രചാര്യ്യമാണം വിശ്വാസസ്യ വാക്യമേവ|
9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
വസ്തുതഃ പ്രഭും യീശും യദി വദനേന സ്വീകരോഷി, തഥേശ്വരസ്തം ശ്മശാനാദ് ഉദസ്ഥാപയദ് ഇതി യദ്യന്തഃകരണേന വിശ്വസിഷി തർഹി പരിത്രാണം ലപ്സ്യസേ|
10 For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
യസ്മാത് പുണ്യപ്രാപ്ത്യർഥമ് അന്തഃകരണേന വിശ്വസിതവ്യം പരിത്രാണാർഥഞ്ച വദനേന സ്വീകർത്തവ്യം|
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
ശാസ്ത്രേ യാദൃശം ലിഖതി വിശ്വസിഷ്യതി യസ്തത്ര സ ജനോ ന ത്രപിഷ്യതേ|
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
ഇത്യത്ര യിഹൂദിനി തദന്യലോകേ ച കോപി വിശേഷോ നാസ്തി യസ്മാദ് യഃ സർവ്വേഷാമ് അദ്വിതീയഃ പ്രഭുഃ സ നിജയാചകാന സർവ്വാൻ പ്രതി വദാന്യോ ഭവതി|
13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
യതഃ, യഃ കശ്ചിത് പരമേശസ്യ നാമ്നാ ഹി പ്രാർഥയിഷ്യതേ| സ ഏവ മനുജോ നൂനം പരിത്രാതോ ഭവിഷ്യതി|
14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?
യം യേ ജനാ ന പ്രത്യായൻ തേ തമുദ്ദിശ്യ കഥം പ്രാർഥയിഷ്യന്തേ? യേ വാ യസ്യാഖ്യാനം കദാപി ന ശ്രുതവന്തസ്തേ തം കഥം പ്രത്യേഷ്യന്തി? അപരം യദി പ്രചാരയിതാരോ ന തിഷ്ഠന്തി തദാ കഥം തേ ശ്രോഷ്യന്തി?
15 And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
യദി വാ പ്രേരിതാ ന ഭവന്തി തദാ കഥം പ്രചാരയിഷ്യന്തി? യാദൃശം ലിഖിതമ് ആസ്തേ, യഥാ, മാങ്ഗലികം സുസംവാദം ദദത്യാനീയ യേ നരാഃ| പ്രചാരയന്തി ശാന്തേശ്ച സുസംവാദം ജനാസ്തു യേ| തേഷാം ചരണപദ്മാനി കീദൃക് ശോഭാന്വിതാനി ഹി|
16 But they did not all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”
കിന്തു തേ സർവ്വേ തം സുസംവാദം ന ഗൃഹീതവന്തഃ| യിശായിയോ യഥാ ലിഖിതവാൻ| അസ്മത്പ്രചാരിതേ വാക്യേ വിശ്വാസമകരോദ്ധി കഃ|
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
അതഏവ ശ്രവണാദ് വിശ്വാസ ഐശ്വരവാക്യപ്രചാരാത് ശ്രവണഞ്ച ഭവതി|
18 But I say, did not they hear? Yes, most certainly, “Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
തർഹ്യഹം ബ്രവീമി തൈഃ കിം നാശ്രാവി? അവശ്യമ് അശ്രാവി, യസ്മാത് തേഷാം ശബ്ദോ മഹീം വ്യാപ്നോദ് വാക്യഞ്ച നിഖിലം ജഗത്|
19 But I ask, did not Israel know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation. I will make you angry with a nation void of understanding.”
അപരമപി വദാമി, ഇസ്രായേലീയലോകാഃ കിമ് ഏതാം കഥാം ന ബുധ്യന്തേ? പ്രഥമതോ മൂസാ ഇദം വാക്യം പ്രോവാച, അഹമുത്താപയിഷ്യേ താൻ അഗണ്യമാനവൈരപി| ക്ലേക്ഷ്യാമി ജാതിമ് ഏതാഞ്ച പ്രോന്മത്തഭിന്നജാതിഭിഃ|
20 Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those who did not seek me. I was revealed to those who did not ask for me.”
അപരഞ്ച യിശായിയോഽതിശയാക്ഷോഭേണ കഥയാമാസ, യഥാ, അധി മാം യൈസ്തു നാചേഷ്ടി സമ്പ്രാപ്തസ്തൈ ർജനൈരഹം| അധി മാം യൈ ർന സമ്പൃഷ്ടം വിജ്ഞാതസ്തൈ ർജനൈരഹം||
21 But about Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
കിന്ത്വിസ്രായേലീയലോകാൻ അധി കഥയാഞ്ചകാര, യൈരാജ്ഞാലങ്ഘിഭി ർലോകൈ ർവിരുദ്ധം വാക്യമുച്യതേ| താൻ പ്രത്യേവ ദിനം കൃത്സ്നം ഹസ്തൗ വിസ്താരയാമ്യഹം||
