Psalms 89
1 A contemplation by Ethan, the Ezrahite. I will sing of the loving kindness of the LORD forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.
യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും പാടും; തലമുറതലമുറയോളം എന്റെ വായ് കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ അറിയിക്കും.
2 I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”
ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉറച്ചുനില്ക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ നീ സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തിൽ സ്ഥിരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
3 “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,
എന്റെ വൃതനോടു ഞാൻ ഒരു നിയമവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യവും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
4 ‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’” (Selah)
നിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തും; നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഉറപ്പിക്കും. (സേലാ)
5 The heavens will praise your wonders, LORD, your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
യഹോവേ, സ്വൎഗ്ഗം നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഭയിൽ നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും.
6 For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like the LORD,
സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തിൽ യഹോവയോടു സദൃശനായവൻ ആർ? ദേവപുത്രന്മാരിൽ യഹോവെക്കു തുല്യനായവൻ ആർ?
7 a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?
ദൈവം വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും ഭയങ്കരനും അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവൎക്കും മീതെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ യോഗ്യനും ആകുന്നു.
8 LORD, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? LORD, your faithfulness is around you.
സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ബലവാൻ ആരുള്ളു? യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിന്നെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.
നീ സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഗൎവ്വത്തെ അടക്കിവാഴുന്നു; അതിലെ തിരകൾ പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ നീ അവയെ അമൎത്തുന്നു.
10 You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.
നീ രഹബിനെ ഒരു ഹതനെപ്പോലെ തകൎത്തു; നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
11 The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours, the world and its fullness. You have founded them.
ആകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതു, ഭൂമിയും നിനക്കുള്ളതു; ഭൂതലവും അതിന്റെ പൂൎണ്ണതയും നീ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
12 You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.
ദക്ഷിണോത്തരദിക്കുകളെ നീ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; താബോരും ഹെൎമ്മോനും നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു;
13 You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.
നിനക്കു വീൎയ്യമുള്ളോരു ഭുജം ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ കൈ ബലമുള്ളതും നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ഉന്നതവും ആകുന്നു.
14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.
നീതിയും ന്യായവും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നു; ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കുന്നു.
15 Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, LORD.
ജയഘോഷം അറിയുന്ന ജനത്തിന്നു ഭാഗ്യം; യഹോവേ, അവർ നിന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തിൽ നടക്കും.
16 In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.
അവർ ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നീതിയിൽ അവർ ഉയൎന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
17 For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.
നീ അവരുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വമാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പു ഉയൎന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
18 For our shield belongs to the LORD, our king to the Holy One of Israel.
നമ്മുടെ പരിച യഹോവെക്കുള്ളതും നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നുള്ളവന്നും ആകുന്നു.
19 Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.
അന്നു നീ ദൎശനത്തിൽ നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു; ഞാൻ വീരനായ ഒരുത്തന്നു സഹായം നല്കുകയും ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒരു വൃതനെ ഉയൎത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
20 I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,
ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധതൈലംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു.
21 with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.
എന്റെ കൈ അവനോടുകൂടെ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ഭുജം അവനെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തും.
22 No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.
ശത്രു അവനെ തോല്പിക്കയില്ല; വഷളൻ അവനെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കയും ഇല്ല.
23 I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.
ഞാൻ അവന്റെ വൈരികളെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ തകൎക്കും; അവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ സംഹരിക്കും,
24 But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.
എന്നാൽ എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും ദയയും അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു ഉയൎന്നിരിക്കും.
25 I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.
അവന്റെ കയ്യെ ഞാൻ സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേലും അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യെ നദികളുടെമേലും നീട്ടുമാറാക്കും.
26 He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’
അവൻ എന്നോടു: നീ എന്റെ പിതാവു, എന്റെ ദൈവം, എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചുപറയും.
27 I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
ഞാൻ അവനെ ആദ്യജാതനും ഭൂരാജാക്കന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനുമാക്കും.
28 I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.
ഞാൻ അവന്നു എന്റെ ദയയെ എന്നേക്കും കാണിക്കും; എന്റെ നിയമം അവന്നു സ്ഥിരമായി നില്ക്കും.
29 I will also make his offspring endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
ഞാൻ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളവും നിലനിൎത്തും.
30 If his children forsake my law, and do not walk in my ordinances;
അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതിരിക്കയും
31 if they break my statutes, and do not keep my commandments;
എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ലംഘിക്കയും എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ
32 then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ലംഘനത്തെ വടികൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തെ ദണ്ഡനംകൊണ്ടും സന്ദൎശിക്കും.
33 But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.
എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദയയെ ഞാൻ അവങ്കൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയില്ല; എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുകയുമില്ല.
34 I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ലംഘിക്കയോ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്നു ഭേദം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല.
35 Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.
ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കൽ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനോടു ഞാൻ ഭോഷ്കുപറകയില്ല.
36 His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.
അവന്റെ സന്തതി ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സൂൎയ്യനെപ്പോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.
37 It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” (Selah)
അതു ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ വിശ്വസ്തസാക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെയും എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും. (സേലാ)
38 But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.
എങ്കിലും നീ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളകയും നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തനോടു കോപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
39 You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.
നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുള്ള നിയമത്തെ നീ വെറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ കിരീടത്തെ നീ നിലത്തിട്ടു അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
40 You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.
നീ അവന്റെ വേലി ഒക്കെയും പൊളിച്ചു; അവന്റെ കോട്ടകളെയും ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
41 All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.
വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അവനെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നു; തന്റെ അയല്ക്കാൎക്കു അവൻ നിന്ദ ആയിത്തീൎന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
42 You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.
നീ അവന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ വലങ്കയ്യെ ഉയൎത്തി; അവന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു.
43 Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and have not supported him in battle.
അവന്റെ വാളിൻ വായ്ത്തലയെ നീ മടക്കി; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവനെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കിയതുമില്ല.
44 You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground.
അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ നീ ഇല്ലാതാക്കി; അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു.
45 You have shortened the days of his youth. You have covered him with shame. (Selah)
അവന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തെ നീ ചുരുക്കി; നീ അവനെ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (സേലാ)
46 How long, LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?
യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം മറഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതും നിന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?
47 Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!
എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു എത്രചുരുക്കം എന്നു ഓൎക്കേണമേ; എന്തു മിത്ഥ്യാത്വത്തിന്നായി നീ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു?
48 What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol (Sheol h7585)? (Selah)
ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു മരണം കാണാതെയിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ആർ? തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവനും ആരുള്ളു? (സേലാ) (Sheol h7585)
49 Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?
കൎത്താവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയിൽ നി ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത നിന്റെ പണ്ടത്തെ കൃപകൾ എവിടെ?
50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,
കൎത്താവേ, അടിയങ്ങളുടെ നിന്ദ ഓൎക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ മാൎവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഞാൻ സകലമഹാജാതികളുടെയും നിന്ദ വഹിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ.
51 With which your enemies have mocked, LORD, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.
യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവർ നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ കാലടികളെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
52 Blessed be the LORD forever more. Amen, and Amen.
യഹോവ എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ.
