< Psalms 87 >

1 A Psalm by the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
filiis Core psalmus cantici fundamenta eius in montibus sanctis
2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
diligit Dominus portas Sion super omnia tabernacula Iacob
3 Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. (Selah)
gloriosa dicta sunt de te civitas Dei diapsalma
4 I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me. Behold, Philistia, Tyre, and also Ethiopia: “This one was born there.”
memor ero Raab et Babylonis scientibus me ecce alienigenae et Tyrus et populus Aethiopum hii fuerunt illic
5 Yes, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one was born in her;” the Most High himself will establish her.
numquid Sion dicet homo et homo natus est in ea et ipse fundavit eam Altissimus
6 The LORD will count, when he writes up the peoples, “This one was born there.” (Selah)
Dominus narrabit in scriptura populorum et principum horum qui fuerunt in ea diapsalma
7 Those who sing as well as those who dance say, “All my springs are in you.”
sicut laetantium omnium habitatio in te
