< Psalms 75 >

1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A Psalm by Asaph. A song. We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo no. Wɔnto no sɛnea wɔto “Nsɛe No” nne so. Asaf dwom. Onyankopɔn, yɛda wo ase, yɛda wo ase, efisɛ wo Din abɛn; nnipa ka wʼanwonwade kyerɛ.
2 When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
Woka se, “Me na mehyɛɛ bere a ɛsɛ no; ɛyɛ me na mibu atɛntrenee.
3 The earth and all its inhabitants quake. I firmly hold its pillars. (Selah)
Sɛ asase ne so nnipa nyinaa wosow a, me na mema nʼafadum gyina hɔ pintinn.
4 I said to the arrogant, “Do not boast!” I said to the wicked, “Do not lift up the horn.
Meka kyerɛ ahantanfo se, ‘Monnhoahoa mo ho bio,’ na meka kyerɛ amumɔyɛfo nso se, ‘Mommma mo mmɛn so.
5 Do not lift up your horn on high. Do not speak with a stiff neck.”
Mommma mo mmɛn so ntia ɔsoro; mommfa animtiaabu nkasa.’”
6 For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
Obiara mmfi apuei anaa atɔe anaa sare no so a obetumi ama obi so.
7 But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.
Ɛyɛ Onyankopɔn na obu atɛn: Ɔbrɛ ɔbaako ase, na ɔma ɔfoforo so.
8 For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
Kuruwa bi hyɛ Awurade nsam nsa bi a etwa ahuru a wɔde nnuhuam afra ahyɛ no ma; ohwie, na asase so amumɔyɛfo nyinaa nom ma ɛka ase puw.
9 But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Me de, mɛpae mu aka eyi daa daa; mɛto ayeyi dwom ama Yakob Nyankopɔn.
10 I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
Mebubu amumɔyɛfo nyinaa mmɛn, na atreneefo mmɛn de, wɔbɛma so.
