Psalms 75
1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A Psalm by Asaph. A song. We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಅಲ್ತಷ್ಟೇತೆಂಬ ರಾಗ. ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಒಂದು ಗೀತೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜನರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಜಪಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
2 When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
“ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆನು,
3 The earth and all its inhabitants quake. I firmly hold its pillars. (Selah)
ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಅದರ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
4 I said to the arrogant, “Do not boast!” I said to the wicked, “Do not lift up the horn.
‘ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ಅಹಂಕಾರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಂಬು ಎತ್ತಬೇಡಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವೆನು.
5 Do not lift up your horn on high. Do not speak with a stiff neck.”
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಹಟಮಾರಿತನದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
6 For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರವು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
7 But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.
ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ.
8 For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ಇದೆ. ಔಷಧಿಮಿಶ್ರವಾಗಿ ಉಕ್ಕುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಇದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದರ ಮಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಭೂಮಿಯ ದುಷ್ಟರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೀರಿಕೊಂಡು ಕುಡಿಯುವರು.
9 But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
ನಾನಾದರೋ ಸದಾ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೋಬ ವಂಶದವರ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು.
10 I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡಿದುಹೋಗುವುದು. ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳು ಎತ್ತಲಾಗುವುದು.
