< Psalms 69 >

1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Lilies.” By David. Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!
Eihuhdoh in, O Pathen, twisoh hin kangong gei achuptai.
2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
Bonlhoh lah a hin ka lhalut cheh cheh tai; pansatna ding ka mujou tapoi. Keima twithuh lah a ka lhalut tan twisoh hin eichup tai.
3 I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.
Panpi ngai a kaka na katha achollha tai; ka lolhomsung jong agolha tai. Ka ka kanan ka mit jong apomtan, Pathen in eipan pi ding kangah e.
4 Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I did not take away.
Ajehbei hel a eivetdaho hi ka lujang a ka samjang sang’in atamjouve. Ka melmate hin jou thu jeng a suhmang ding eigouvin, hitihin ka guh louhel thil chu kanung peh din athum uve.
5 God, you know my foolishness. My sins are not hidden from you.
O Pathen ichangeia ngol kahi nahenai; Ka chonsetnaho hi nang’a kon’in akiselmang theipoi.
6 Do not let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord GOD of Armies. Do not let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
Keijeh in, nangma tahsanna ho chu jumsah hih beh in, O van'a lengchungnung Pakai Pathen, kei hi akisuh jum nai nei hisah hihbeh in, O Israel Pathen.
7 Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.

8 I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.
Ka sopiho tah jeng’in jong eikihetmosah tauvin gamchommi bangin eibol tauvin ahi.
9 For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

10 When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.

13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, LORD, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.

27 Charge them with crime upon crime. Do not let them come into your righteousness.
