< Psalms 61 >

1 For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David. Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
O Pathen ka kana neingaipeh in! Ka taona hi ngai in!
2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Lungsung lunghemnan eilonkhum teng leiset kol kimvel a kon’in panpi ngaichan ka hin kou e. Hoidoh na songpi sang chung’ah neipuitou in,
3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
ajeh chu nangma hi ka kiselna mun olna pen chu na hi, ka melmate’n ahin phahjoulouna kulpi chu nangma na hi.
4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Selah)
Na mun theng’a tonsot’in neichensah in hilai chu na lha limnoi kiselna chu ahi.
5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
O Pathen ka kitepna chu nei jahpehtai, nangma gingte chan dia na gonpeh na goulona mun chu neipeh ahitai.
6 You will prolong the king’s life. His years will be for generations.
Lengpa hinkho hi kum tamtah pehben! Khangkit geiin jong hinghoi in!
7 He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Pathen hoidam na achun vaihom jing hen. Na mi ngailutna longlou le na kitahna chun kaihoi jing hen.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows daily.
Hiteng chuleh nitina ka kitepna suh bulhit ingkating tonsot’in na min thangvah jing tang e.
