Psalms 54

1 For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is not David hiding himself among us?” Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.

Боже! Именом својим помози ми, и крепошћу својом одбрани ме на суду.

2 Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.

Боже! Услиши молитву моју, чуј речи уста мојих.

3 For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They have not set God before them. (Selah)

Јер туђини усташе на ме; и силни траже душу моју; немају Бога пред собом.

4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.

Гле, Бог је помоћник мој, Господ даје снагу души мојој.

5 He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.

Обратиће зло на непријатеље моје, истином својом истребиће их.

6 With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, LORD, for it is good.

Радо ћу принети жртву, прославићу име Твоје, Господе, јер је добро.

7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.

Јер ме избављаш од сваке невоље, и на непријатеље моје без страха гледа око моје.
