Psalms 29
1 A Psalm by David. Ascribe to the LORD, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Ang salmo ni David. Dayega si Yahweh, kamong mga anak sa Dios! Dayega si Yahweh tungod sa iyang himaya ug kusog.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Worship the LORD in holy array.
Ihatag kang Yahweh ang himaya nga angay sa iyang ngalan. Yukboi si Yahweh diha sa katahom sa pagkabalaan.
3 The LORD’s voice is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even the LORD on many waters.
Ang tingog ni Yahweh nadungog ibabaw sa katubigan; ang Dios sa mahimayaong dalogdog, nagdalogdog si Yahweh ibabaw sa daghang katubigan.
4 The LORD’s voice is powerful. The LORD’s voice is full of majesty.
Ang tingog ni Yahweh gamhanan; ang tingog ni Yahweh halangdon.
5 The LORD’s voice breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
Ang tingog ni Yahweh nagbali sa mga cedro; gibalibali ni Yahweh ang mga cedro sa Lebanon.
6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.
Gipalukso niya ang Lebanon ug ang Sirion sama sa nating baka.
7 The LORD’s voice strikes with flashes of lightning.
Ang tingog ni Yahweh nagpadala sa nagdilaab nga kalayo.
8 The LORD’s voice shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
Ang tingog ni Yahweh nagauyog sa kamingawan; si Yahweh nagauyog sa kamingawan sa Cades.
9 The LORD’s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, “Glory!”
Ang tingog ni Yahweh naglubag sa kahoy nga tugas ug gihukasan ang kalasangan. Ang tanan nga anaa sa sulod sa iyang templo nanag-ingon “Himaya!”
10 The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
Milingkod si Yahweh ingon nga hari ibabaw sa lunop; naglingkod si Yahweh ingon nga hari hangtod sa kahangtoran.
11 The LORD will give strength to his people. The LORD will bless his people with peace.
Maghatag si Yahweh ug kusog sa iyang katawhan; magpanalangin si Yahweh sa iyang katawhan diha sa pakigdait.
