Psalms 147
1 Praise the LORD, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.
| هللویاه، زیرا خدای ما را سراییدن نیکو است و دل پسند، و تسبیح خواندن شایسته است! | ۱ |
2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
| خداوند اورشلیم را بنامی کند و پراکندگان اسرائیل را جمع می‌نماید. | ۲ |
3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
| شکسته دلان را شفا می‌دهد و جراحت های ایشان را می‌بندد. | ۳ |
4 He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
| عدد ستارگان را می‌شمارد وجمیع آنها را به نام می‌خواند. | ۴ |
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
| خداوند ما بزرگ است و قوت او عظیم و حکمت وی غیرمتناهی. | ۵ |
6 The LORD upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
| خداوند مسکینان را برمی افرازد و شریران را به زمین می‌اندازد. | ۶ |
7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,
| خداوند را با تشکر بسرایید. خدای ما را با بربط سرود بخوانید. | ۷ |
8 who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.
| که آسمانهارا با ابرها می‌پوشاند و باران را برای زمین مهیامی نماید و گیاه را بر کوهها می‌رویاند. | ۸ |
9 He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
| که بهایم را آذوقه می‌دهد و بچه های غراب را که او رامی خوانند. | ۹ |
10 He does not delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
| در قوت اسب رغبت ندارد، و ازساقهای انسان راضی نمی باشد. | ۱۰ |
11 The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.
| رضامندی خداوند از ترسندگان وی است و از آنانی که به رحمت وی امیدوارند. | ۱۱ |
12 Praise the LORD, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!
| ای اورشلیم، خداوند را تسبیح بخوان. ای صهیون، خدای خود را حمد بگو. | ۱۲ |
13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
| زیرا که پشت بندهای دروازه هایت را مستحکم کرده وفرزندانت را در اندرونت مبارک فرموده است. | ۱۳ |
14 He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
| که حدود تو را سلامتی می‌دهد و تو را ازمغز گندم سیر می‌گرداند. | ۱۴ |
15 He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
| که کلام خود را برزمین فرستاده است و قول او به زودی هر‌چه تمام تر می‌دود. | ۱۵ |
16 He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
| که برف را مثل پشم می‌باراند، و ژاله را مثل خاکستر می‌پاشد. | ۱۶ |
17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
| که تگرگ خودرا در قطعه‌ها می‌اندازد؛ و کیست که پیش سرمای او تواند ایستاد؟ | ۱۷ |
18 He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
| کلام خود را می‌فرستد وآنها را می‌گدازد. باد خویش را می‌وزاند، پس آبها جاری می‌شود. | ۱۸ |
19 He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
| کلام خود را به یعقوب بیان کرده، و فرایض و داوریهای خویش را به اسرائیل. | ۱۹ |
20 He has not done this for just any nation. They do not know his ordinances. Praise the LORD!
| با هیچ امتی چنین نکرده است و داوریهای او را ندانسته‌اند. هللویاه! | ۲۰ |
