Psalms 114

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language,

کاتێک ئیسرائیل لە میسر هاتنە دەرەوە، بنەماڵەی یاقوب لەنێو گەلێکی نامۆ زمان دەرچوون،

2 Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

یەهودا بووە پیرۆزگای خودا، ئیسرائیل بووە جێی فەرمانڕەوایەتی.

3 The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.

دەریا بینی و هەڵات، ڕووباری ئوردون بەرەو پاش کشایەوە.

4 The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.

چیاکان وەک بەران بازیان دا، گردەکان وەک بەرخۆلە.

5 What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back?

چیتە ئەی دەریا، بۆ وا هەڵدێیت؟ ئەی ئوردون، بۆ بەرەو پاش دەکشێیتەوە؟

6 You mountains, that you skipped like rams? You little hills, like lambs?

ئەی چیاکان، بۆ وەک بەران باز دەدەن و ئێوەش ئەی گردەکان، وەک بەرخۆلە؟

7 Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

ئەی زەوی لەبەردەم پەروەردگار بلەرزە، لەبەردەم خودای یاقوب،

8 who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of waters.

ئەوەی بەردی کرد بە گۆمی ئاو، بەردەئەستێی کردە کانیاو.
