Psalms 114

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language,

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆತನವು ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದಾಗ,

2 Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

ಯೆಹೂದವು ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಯಿತು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

3 The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.

ಸಮುದ್ರವು ನೋಡಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಯಿತು; ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿತು.

4 The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.

ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಟಗರುಗಳಂತೆ ಓಡಿತು, ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಓಡಾಡಿದವು.

5 What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back?

ಸಮುದ್ರವೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಏನಾಯಿತು? ಏಕೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ? ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯೇ, ಏಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತೀ?

6 You mountains, that you skipped like rams? You little hills, like lambs?

ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳೇ, ಟಗರುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ; ಚಿಕ್ಕಗುಡ್ಡಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹಾರಾಡುವುದೇಕೆ?

7 Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ ನಡುಗು.

8 who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of waters.

ದೇವರು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಕೆರೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಗ್ಗಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
