Psalms 107
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে ধন্যবাদ করো, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়; তাঁর দয়া অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।
2 Let the redeemed by the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
যারা সদাপ্রভু দ্বারা মুক্ত হয়েছে তারা একথা বলুক— যাদের তিনি শত্রুদের হাত থেকে মুক্ত করেছেন,
3 and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম থেকে, উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ থেকে, যাদের তিনি অন্যান্য দেশ থেকে সংগ্রহ করেছেন।
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.
তারা বসবাস করার জন্য নগরের সন্ধান না পেয়ে মরুপ্রান্তরের নির্জন পথে ঘুরে বেড়ালো।
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
তারা ক্ষুধিত আর তৃষ্ণার্ত হল, আর তাদের জীবন প্রায় শেষ হয়েছিল।
6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
তখন তাদের কষ্টে তারা সদাপ্রভুর কাছে কেঁদে উঠল, এবং তিনি তাদের দুর্দশা থেকে উদ্ধার করলেন।
7 He led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.
সোজা পথে তিনি তাদের এক নগরীর দিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে গেলেন যেখানে তারা বসবাস করতে পারে।
8 Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
তাঁর অবিচল প্রেম এবং মানুষের প্রতি তাঁর আশ্চর্য কাজকর্মের জন্য, তারা সদাপ্রভুকে ধন্যবাদ দিক।
9 For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.
কেননা তিনি তৃষ্ণার্তকে তৃপ্ত করেন এবং ক্ষুধার্তকে উত্তম দ্রব্য দিয়ে পূর্ণ করেন।
10 Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,
লোকেরা অন্ধকারে আর মৃত্যুছায়ায় বসেছিল, দুর্দশার লোহার শিকলে বন্দি ছিল,
11 because they rebelled against the words of God, and condemned the counsel of the Most High.
কারণ তারা ঈশ্বরের আদেশের বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেছিল আর পরাৎপরের পরিকল্পনা অবমাননা করেছিল।
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was no one to help.
তাই তিনি তাদের তিক্ত পরিশ্রমের অধীন করেছিলেন; তাদের পতন হল, আর তাদের সাহায্য করার কেউ ছিল না।
13 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
তখন তাদের কষ্টে তারা সদাপ্রভুর কাছে কেঁদে উঠল, এবং তিনি তাদের দুর্দশা থেকে রক্ষা করলেন।
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke away their chains.
তিনি অন্ধকার ও মৃত্যুছায়া থেকে তাদের বের করলেন, এবং তাদের শিকল ভেঙে দিলেন।
15 Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
তাঁর অবিচল প্রেম এবং মানুষের প্রতি তাঁর আশ্চর্য কাজকর্মের জন্য, তারা সদাপ্রভুকে ধন্যবাদ দিক,
16 For he has broken the gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron.
কারণ তিনি পিতলের দরজা ভেঙে দেন এবং লোহার খিল দু-ভাগ করেন।
17 Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.
কেউ কেউ তাদের বিদ্রোহী ব্যবহারে মূর্খ হয়ে উঠল আর তাদের অপরাধের কারণে কষ্টভোগ করল।
18 Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.
তারা খাদ্যদ্রব্য ঘৃণা করল আর মৃত্যুর দরজা পর্যন্ত পৌঁছাল।
19 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.
তখন তাদের কষ্টে তারা সদাপ্রভুর কাছে কেঁদে উঠল, এবং তিনি তাদের দুর্দশা থেকে রক্ষা করলেন।
20 He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.
তিনি তাঁর বাক্য পাঠিয়ে তাদের সুস্থ করলেন; তিনি মৃত্যুর কবল থেকে তাদের উদ্ধার করলেন।
21 Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
তাঁর অবিচল প্রেম এবং মানুষের প্রতি তাঁর আশ্চর্য কাজকর্মের জন্য, তারা সদাপ্রভুকে ধন্যবাদ দিক।
22 Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his deeds with singing.
তারা ধন্যবাদের নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করুক এবং আনন্দের গানে তাঁর ক্রিয়াকলাপ বলুক।
23 Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters,
কেউ কেউ জাহাজে করে সমুদ্রযাত্রা করল; তারা মহা জলধিতে ব্যবসা করল।
24 these see the LORD’s deeds, and his wonders in the deep.
তারা সদাপ্রভুর কাজগুলি দেখল, গভীর জলরাশিতে তাঁর আশ্চর্য কাজগুলি দেখল।
25 For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.
তিনি কথা বললেন আর প্রচণ্ড ঝড় উঠল যা ঢেউ জাগিয়ে তুলল।
26 They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.
যা আকাশমণ্ডল পর্যন্ত উঠল আর অতল পর্যন্ত নেমে এল; বিপদে তাদের সাহস ক্ষয় হল।
27 They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
মাতালের মতো তারা ঘুরপাক খেলো আর টলতে থাকল; তাদের বুদ্ধি বিলুপ্ত হল।
28 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.
তখন তাদের কষ্টে তারা সদাপ্রভুর কাছে কেঁদে উঠল, এবং তিনি তাদের দুর্দশা থেকে রক্ষা করলেন।
29 He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.
তাঁর আদেশে ঝড় শান্ত হল; সমুদ্রের ঢেউ নিস্তব্ধ হল।
30 Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.
যখন তা শান্ত হল তখন তারা আনন্দ করল, এবং তিনি তাদের আশ্রয়স্থল পর্যন্ত পথ দেখালেন।
31 Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds for the children of men!
তাঁর অবিচল প্রেম এবং মানুষের প্রতি তাঁর আশ্চর্য কাজকর্মের জন্য, তারা সদাপ্রভুকে ধন্যবাদ দিক।
32 Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
তারা লোকেদের সমাবেশে তাঁকে গৌরবান্বিত করুক এবং প্রবীণদের পরিষদে তাঁর প্রশংসা করুক।
33 He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,
তিনি নদীকে মরুভূমিতে, প্রবাহমান নদীকে শুষ্ক-ভূমিতে পরিণত করেন,
34 and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
আর ফলবান দেশকে লবণ প্রান্তর করেন, সেখানকার নিবাসীদের দুষ্টতার কারণে।
35 He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
মরুভূমিকে তিনি জলাশয়ে আর শুকনো জমিকে জলপ্রবাহে পরিণত করেন;
36 There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,
সেখানে তিনি ক্ষুধার্তদের বসবাস করার জন্য নিয়ে এলেন, এবং তারা এক নগর স্থাপন করল আর সেখানে তারা বসবাস করল।
37 sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.
তারা মাঠে বীজবপন করল আর দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র রোপণ করল যা প্রচুর ফসল উৎপন্ন করল;
38 He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He does not allow their livestock to decrease.
তিনি তাদের আশীর্বাদ করলেন আর তাদের সংখ্যা প্রচুর বৃদ্ধি পেল, আর তিনি তাদের পশুপাল কমতে দিলেন না।
39 Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
তারপর তাদের সংখ্যা হ্রাস পেল এবং নির্যাতন, বিপদ এবং দুঃখে তারা অবনত হল;
40 He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.
যিনি বিশিষ্টদের উপরে অবজ্ঞা ঢেলে দেন তিনি তাদের দিশাহীন প্রান্তরে ভ্রমণ করালেন।
41 Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.
কিন্তু তিনি অভাবীদের কষ্ট থেকে বের করলেন আর তাদের পরিবারগুলিকে মেষপালের মতো বৃদ্ধি করলেন।
42 The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
যারা ন্যায়পরায়ণ তারা দেখে আর আনন্দ করে, কিন্তু দুষ্টেরা সবাই তাদের মুখ বন্ধ করে।
43 Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.
যে জ্ঞানী সে এই সবে মনোযোগ দিক আর সদাপ্রভুর প্রেমময় কাজ বিবেচনা করুক।
