Mark 4
1 Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
౧మరొకసారి ఆయన సముద్రం ఒడ్డున ఉపదేశించడం ప్రారంభించాడు. ఆయన చుట్టూ చాలా మంది ప్రజలు ఉండడం వల్ల, ఆయన ఒక పడవ ఎక్కి కూర్చున్నాడు. ప్రజలు ఒడ్డున ఉన్నారు.
2 He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
౨ఆయన ఉదాహరణల సహాయంతో అనేక విషయాలు వారికి బోధించాడు. ఆయన వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు.
3 “Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow.
౩“వినండి! ఒక రైతు విత్తనాలు చల్లడానికి వెళ్ళాడు.
4 As he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
౪విత్తనాలు చల్లుతూ ఉండగా, కొన్ని దారి పక్కన పడ్డాయి, పక్షులు వచ్చి వాటిని తినేశాయి.
5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
౫మరికొన్ని విత్తనాలు, మట్టి ఎక్కువగా లేని రాతినేల మీద పడ్డాయి. అవి త్వరగానే మొలకెత్తాయి.
6 When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
౬కాని వాటి వేర్లు లోతుగా లేనందువల్ల సూర్యుడు రాగానే అవి ఆ వేడికి మాడిపోయాయి.
7 Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
౭ఇంకా కొన్ని విత్తనాలు ముళ్ళ తుప్పల్లో పడ్డాయి. ఆ ముళ్ళ తుప్పలు పెరిగి మొక్కలను అణచి వేయడం వల్ల అవి పంటకు రాలేదు.
8 Others fell into the good ground and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some produced thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much.”
౮మిగిలిన విత్తనాలు మంచి సారవంతమైన నేలలో పడ్డాయి. అవి మొలకెత్తి, పెరిగి ముప్ఫై రెట్లు, అరవై రెట్లు, వంద రెట్లు పండి కోతకు వచ్చాయి.”
9 He said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”
౯యేసు ఇలా చెప్పి, “వినడానికి చెవులు ఉన్నవాడు వినుగాక” అన్నాడు.
10 When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
౧౦తరువాత ఆయన ఒంటరిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఆయన పన్నెండు మంది శిష్యులు, ఆయన సన్నిహితులు కొందరు ఆ ఉదాహరణల గురించి ఆయనను అడిగారు.
11 He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
౧౧ఆయన వారితో, “దేవుని రాజ్యం గురించిన రహస్య సత్యం మీకు చెప్పాను. కాని బయటి వారికి ప్రతి విషయమూ ఉపమానాల రూపంలోనే లభిస్తుంది.
12 that ‘seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’”
౧౨ఎందుకంటే, వారు చూస్తూనే ఉన్నా గ్రహించకుండా ఉండాలి. వింటూ ఉన్నా అర్థం చేసుకోకుండా ఉండాలి. లేకపోతే వారు దేవుని వైపు తిరిగి పాపక్షమాపణ పొందుతారేమో.”
13 He said to them, “Do not you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
౧౩ఆయన వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “ఈ ఉపమానం మీకు అర్థం కాలేదా? అయితే మిగతా ఉపమానాలు ఎలా అర్థం చేసుకుంటారు?
14 The farmer sows the word.
౧౪విత్తనాలు చల్లేవాడు చల్లేది దేవుని వాక్కు.
15 The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
౧౫దారి పక్కన ఉన్నవారెవరంటే, వాక్కు వారిలో పడింది గాని, వారు విన్న వెంటనే సైతాను వచ్చి వారిలో పడిన వాక్కును తీసివేస్తాడు.
16 These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
౧౬అలాగే కొంతమంది రాతినేల లాంటి వారు. వీళ్ళు వాక్కును విని ఆనందంతో దాన్ని స్వీకరిస్తారు.
17 They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
౧౭కానీ వారిలో వాక్కు లోతుగా వేరు పారని కారణంగా కష్టం, హింస కలిగితే దాన్ని వదిలివేస్తారు.
18 Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
౧౮కొంతమంది ముళ్ళతుప్పలు మొలిచే నేల లాంటి వారు. దేవుని వాక్కు వింటారు.
19 and the cares of this age (aiōn g165), and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
౧౯కాని, జీవితంలో కలిగే చింతలు, ధనం కలిగించే మోసం, ఇతర విషయాల పట్ల కోరికలు ఆ వాక్కును అణచివేసి ఫలించకుండా చేస్తాయి. (aiōn g165)
20 Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”
౨౦మరి కొందరు సారవంతమైన నేలలాంటి వారు, వీళ్ళు దేవుని వాక్కు విని, అంగీకరించి కొందరు ముప్ఫై రెట్లు, కొందరు అరవై రెట్లు, కొందరు వంద రెట్లు ఫలిస్తారు.”
21 He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is not it put on a stand?
౨౧ఆయన వారితో ఇంకా ఇలా అన్నాడు, “దీపాన్ని తెచ్చి బోర్లించిన పాత్ర కింద, లేక మంచం కింద ఉంచుతారా? దాన్ని దీపస్తంభం మీద ఉంచుతాం గదా!
22 For there is nothing hidden except that it should be made known, neither was anything made secret but that it should come to light.
౨౨దాచి ఉంచినవన్నీ బహిర్గతమౌతాయి. అన్ని రహస్యాలూ బయట పడిపోతాయి.
23 If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”
౨౩వినడానికి చెవులు గలవాడు వినుగాక.”
24 He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you who hear.
౨౪యేసు వారితో ఇంకా ఇలా అన్నాడు, “నేను మీతో చెప్పేది జాగ్రత్తగా గమనించండి. మీరు ఏ కొలతలో కొలిచి ఇస్తారో అదే కొలతలో ఇంకా ఎక్కువగా కొలిచి దేవుడు మీకిస్తాడు.
25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; and he who does not have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”
౨౫కలిగిన వారికి దేవుడు ఇంకా ఎక్కువగా ఇస్తాడు. లేని వారి దగ్గర నుండి ఉన్నది కూడా తీసివేస్తాడు.”
26 He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
౨౬ఆయన మళ్ళీ ఇలా అన్నాడు, “దేవుని రాజ్యం ఒక మనిషి భూమి మీద విత్తనాలు చల్లినట్టు ఉంటుంది.
27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he does not know how.
౨౭ఆ వ్యక్తి నిద్ర పోతున్నా మెలకువగా ఉన్నా రాత్రి, పగలు అతనికి తెలియకుండానే ఆ విత్తనాలు మొలకెత్తి పెరుగుతూనే ఉంటాయి.
28 For the earth bears fruit by itself: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
౨౮ఎందుకంటే భూమి దానంతట అదే పండుతుంది. మొదట మొలక, ఆ తరువాత కంకి, ఆ కంకి నిండా గింజలు పుడతాయి.
29 But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
౨౯పంట పండినప్పుడు అతడు కోతకాలం వచ్చిందని వెంటనే కొడవలితో కోస్తాడు.”
30 He said, “How will we liken God’s Kingdom? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?
౩౦ఆయన మళ్ళీ ఈ విధంగా అన్నాడు. “దేవుని రాజ్యాన్ని దేనితో పోల్చగలం? ఏ ఉపమానం ఉపయోగించి దాన్ని వర్ణించగలం?
31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
౩౧అది ఆవగింజ లాంటిది. మనం భూమి మీద నాటే విత్తనాలన్నిటిలోకీ అది చిన్నది.
32 yet when it is sown, grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”
౩౨కాని దాన్ని నాటిన తరువాత తోటలో ఉన్న అన్ని మొక్కల కన్నా అది పెద్దగా పెరుగుతుంది. దాని కొమ్మలు పెద్దగా ఎదుగుతాయి. పక్షులు దాని నీడలో గూడు కట్టుకుంటాయి.”
33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
౩౩యేసు ఇలాంటి ఉదాహరణలు ఎన్నో ఉపయోగించి, వారు అర్థం చేసుకోగలిగిన కొద్దీ వారికి ఉపదేశించాడు.
34 Without a parable he did not speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
౩౪ఉపమానం లేకుండా వారికి ఏ ఉపదేశమూ చేయలేదు. తరువాత ఆయన తన శిష్యులతో ఒంటరిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు వారికి అన్నీ వివరించి చెప్పాడు.
35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.”
౩౫ఆ రోజు సాయంత్రం ఆయన తన శిష్యులతో, “సరస్సు అవతలి ఒడ్డుకు వెళ్దాం పదండి” అన్నాడు.
36 Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
౩౬శిష్యులు జనసమూహాలను విడిచి యేసుతో పడవలో బయలుదేరారు. మరి కొన్ని పడవలు కూడా వారివెంట వచ్చాయి.
37 A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
౩౭అప్పుడు పెద్ద తుఫాను వచ్చింది. అలలు లేచి పడవను నీళ్ళతో నింపేశాయి.
38 He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and asked him, “Teacher, do not you care that we are dying?”
౩౮పడవ వెనుక భాగంలో యేసు తలకింద దిండు పెట్టుకుని నిద్రపోతూ ఉన్నాడు. శిష్యులు ఆయనను నిద్ర లేపి ఆయనతో, “బోధకా! మేము మునిగిపోతుంటే నీకేమీ పట్టదా?” అని అన్నారు.
39 He awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was a great calm.
౩౯ఆయన లేచి గాలిని, సముద్రాన్ని గద్దిస్తూ, “శాంతించు! ఆగిపో!” అని ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు. వెంటనే గాలి ఆగిపోయింది. అంతా ప్రశాంతంగా మారింది.
40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?”
౪౦అప్పుడాయన శిష్యులతో, “మీరెందుకు భయపడుతున్నారు? మీలో ఇంకా విశ్వాసం కలగలేదా?” అని అన్నాడు.
41 They were greatly afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
౪౧వారికి చాలా భయమేసింది. ఒకరితో ఒకరు, “ఎవరీయన? గాలి, సముద్రం సహా ఈయన మాటకు లోబడుతున్నాయే!” అని చెప్పుకుని ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డారు.
