Luke 23
1 The whole company of them rose up and brought him before Pilate.
১ইয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকৰ গোটেই লোক সকলে উঠি পীলাতৰ আগলৈ যীচুক লৈ আহিল৷
2 They began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king.”
২তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক অপবাদ দি কবলৈ ধৰিলে, বোলে, “আমি দেখিছোঁ যে, এই মানুহজন চীজাৰক কৰ দিবলৈ নিষেধ কৰোঁতা আৰু নিজকে নিজে অভিষিক্ত ৰজা বুলি আমাৰ দেশীয় মানুহক বিপথে নিওঁতা৷”
3 Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered him, “So you say.”
৩তেতিয়া পীলাতে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “তুমি ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা নে?” তাতে যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “তুমিয়েই কৈছা।”
4 Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”
৪তেতিয়া পীলাতে প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু লোক সকলক ক’লে, “মই এই মানুহ জনৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কোনো দোষ বিচাৰি নাপালোঁ।”
5 But they insisted, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”
৫কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে পুণৰ ক’লে, “এই মানুহ জনে গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ পৰা আৰম্ভ কৰি গোটেই যিহুদীয়াত আৰু এতিয়া এই ঠাইতো লোক সকলক উপদেশ দি উচতাই আছে।”
6 But when Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if the man was a Galilean.
৬পীলাতে ইয়াকে শুনি, মানুহ জন গালীলীয়া নে? এই বুলি সুধিলে।
7 When he found out that he was in Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem during those days.
৭পাছত তেওঁক হেৰোদ ৰজাৰ ক্ষমতাধীন এলেকাৰ ভিতৰৰ বুলি পীলাতে জানিবলৈ পোৱাত, তেওঁক হেৰোদৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠিয়াই দিলে; কিয়নো সেই সময়ত তেৱোঁ যিৰূচালেমতে আছিল।
8 Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him. He hoped to see some miracle done by him.
৮যেতিয়া হেৰোদে যীচুক দেখিলে, তেওঁ অতিশয় আনন্দিত হ’ল; কিয়নো বহু দিনৰ পৰা তেওঁক চাবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰি আছিল৷ তেওঁ তেওঁৰ বিষয়ে শুনিছিল, সেয়ে তেওঁ কৰা পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্য চাবলৈ তেওঁ আশাও কৰিছিল৷
9 He questioned him with many words, but he gave no answers.
৯তেতিয়া হেৰোদে অনেক কথা সুধিলে, কিন্তু যীচুৱে তেওঁক একো উত্তৰ নিদিলে।
10 The chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.
১০আৰু প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু বিধানৰ অধ্যাপক সকলে উগ্ৰ হৈ বৰকৈ তেওঁক অপবাদ দি আছিল।
11 Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.
১১পাছত হেৰোদে তেওঁৰ সেনা সকলোৰে সৈতে যীচুক হেয়জ্ঞান আৰু বিদ্ৰূপ কৰি, ৰাজকীয় বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধাই পীলাতৰ ওচৰলৈ আকৌ পঠিয়াই দিলে।
12 Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before that they were enemies with each other.
১২সেই দিনৰ পৰা হেৰোদ আৰু পীলাত পৰস্পৰ বন্ধু হ’ল (ইয়াৰ আগেয়ে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত শত্ৰু ভাব আছিল) ৷
13 Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,
১৩পাছত পীলাতে প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত, শাসনকর্তা সকলক আৰু লোক সকলক মাতি গোট খুৱালে৷
14 and said to them, “You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and behold, having examined him before you, I found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.
১৪আৰু তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “লোক সকলক অপথে নিওঁতা বুলি, এই মানুহ জনক মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আনিলা; কিন্তু চোৱা মই তোমালোকৰ আগত সোধ-বিচাৰ কৰি, তোমালোকে অপবাদ দিয়া কথাত তেওঁৰ একো দোষ নাপালোঁ।
15 Neither has Herod, for I sent you to him, and see, nothing worthy of death has been done by him.
১৫হেৰোদেও একো দোষ নাপালে; কিয়নো তেওঁ পুনৰ আমাৰ ওচৰলৈ এওঁক পঠিয়াই দিলে আৰু চোৱা, এওঁ প্ৰাণদণ্ডৰ যোগ্য কোনো কর্ম কৰা নাই।
16 I will therefore chastise him and release him.”
১৬এই হেতুকে এওঁক শাস্তি দি এৰি দিম।”
17 Now he had to release one prisoner to them at the feast.
১৭সেই পর্বৰ সময়ত তেওঁলোকলৈ এজনক মুকলি কৰি দিবলগীয়া আছিল।
18 But they all cried out together, saying, “Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!”—
১৮কিন্তু সকলোৱে একেলগে আটাহ পাৰি ক’লে, “ইয়াক দূৰ কৰক; বাৰাব্বাক আমাৰ বাবে মুকলি কৰক।”
19 one who was thrown into prison for a certain revolt in the city, and for murder.
১৯সেই বাৰাব্বাই নগৰৰ মাজত ৰাজদ্ৰোহ আৰু নৰ-বধ কৰাৰ কাৰণে তাক বন্দীশালত থোৱা হৈছিল।
20 Then Pilate spoke to them again, wanting to release Jesus,
২০তাতে পীলাতে যীচুক মুকলি কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰি, তেওঁলোকক আকৌ ক’লে,
21 but they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify him!”
২১কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে আটাহ পাৰি ক’লে, “তাক ক্ৰুচত দিয়ক, ক্রুচত দিয়ক৷”
22 He said to them the third time, “Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.”
২২তেতিয়া তেওঁ তৃতীয়বাৰো তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “কিয়? এই মানুহ জনে কি দোষ কৰিলে? প্ৰাণদণ্ডৰ কোনো কাৰণ মই বিচাৰি পোৱা নাই; এই হেতুকে এওঁক শাস্তি দি এৰি দিম।”
23 But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. Their voices and the voices of the chief priests prevailed.
২৩কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে দাবী কৰিলে; তেওঁক যেন ক্রুচত দিয়া হয়, এই আশয়েৰে আঁকোৰগোজ হৈ বৰ মাতেৰে নিবেদন কৰিলে। তাতে পীলাত তেওঁলোকৰ বৰ মাতত পতিয়ন গ’ল৷
24 Pilate decreed that what they asked for should be done.
২৪তেতিয়া পীলাতে তেওঁলোকৰ সেই নিবেদনৰ দৰে কৰিবলৈ ৰায় দিলে।
25 He released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus up to their will.
২৫পাছত ৰাজদ্ৰোহ আৰু নৰ-বধ কৰাৰ কাৰণে বন্দীশালত থোৱা যি জনক তেওঁলোকে খুজিছিল, সেই জনক তেওঁ মুকলি কৰি দিলে৷ কিন্তু যীচুক তেওঁলোকৰ ইচ্ছাত শোধাই দিলে।
26 When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid the cross on him to carry it after Jesus.
২৬পাছত তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক লৈ যাওঁতে গাঁৱৰ পৰা অহা চিমোন নামেৰে এজন কুৰীণীয়া মানুহক ধৰি যীচুৰ পাছে পাছে ক্ৰুচটো লৈ যাবলৈ তেওঁৰ কান্ধত তুলি দিলে।
27 A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.
২৭তাতে মানুহৰ এটা বৃহৎ দল আৰু তেওঁলৈ হিয়া ভুকুৱাই বিলাপ কৰা অনেক মহিলা তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল।
28 But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
২৮কিন্তু যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকলৈ ঘূৰি ক’লে, “হে যিৰূচালেমৰ জীয়ৰী সকল, মোৰ বাবে নাকান্দিবা, নিজৰ বাবে আৰু তোমালোকৰ সন্তান সকলৰ বাবে ক্ৰন্দন কৰা।
29 For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’
২৯কিয়নো চোৱা, যি সময়ত বন্ধ্যা তিৰোতা, সন্তান নোহোৱা গর্ভ আৰু পিয়াহ নিদিয়া স্তনক ধন্য বুলিব, এনে কাল আহিছে।
30 Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and tell the hills, ‘Cover us.’
৩০তেতিয়া লোক সকলে পর্বতবোৰক ক’বলৈ ধৰিব, ‘আমাৰ ওপৰত পৰা’, উপপর্ব্বতবোৰক কবলৈ ধৰিব, ‘আমাক ঢাকি ধৰা’।
31 For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?”
৩১কিয়নো কেচা গছত যদি তেওঁলোকে এইবোৰ কর্ম কৰে, তেনেহলে শুকান গছত কি কৰা যাব?”
32 There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.
৩২সেই সময়ত দুজন দুষ্কর্মী মানুহকো তেওঁৰ লগত বধ কৰিবলৈ লৈ যোৱা হ’ল।
33 When they came to the place that is called “The Skull”, they crucified him there with the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.
৩৩পাছত মূৰৰ লাউখোলা নামেৰে ঠাই পোৱাত, তাতে তেওঁক আৰু তেওঁৰ সোঁফালে এজন আৰু বাওঁফালে এজন, এইদৰে সেই দুজন দুষ্কর্মী মানুহকো ক্রুচত দিলে।
34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.
৩৪তেতিয়া যীচুৱে ক’লে, “হে পিতৃ, এওঁলোকক ক্ষমা কৰা; কিয়নো এওঁলোকে কি কৰিছে, সেই বিষয়ে নাজানে।” পাছত তেওঁলোকে চিঠি খেলি তেওঁৰ বস্ত্ৰ ভগাই ললে।
35 The people stood watching. The rulers with them also scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others. Let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen one!”
৩৫আৰু লোক সকলে থিয় হৈ চাই থাকোতে শাসনকর্তা সকলে তেওঁক উপহাস কৰি ক’লে, “ই আন লোককহে ৰক্ষা কৰিব পাৰিলে৷ যদি ই ঈশ্বৰৰ সেই অভিষিক্ত আৰু তেওঁৰ মনোনীত জন হয়, তেনেহলে নিজকে নিজে ৰক্ষা কৰক।”
36 The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,
৩৬সেনাবোৰেও ওচৰলৈ আহি, তেওঁক চিৰকা যাচি ঠাট্টা কৰি ক’লে,
37 and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!”
৩৭“আপুনি যদি ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা হয়, তেনেহলে নিজকে নিজে ৰক্ষা কৰক।”
38 An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
৩৮আৰু “এওঁ ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা”। এই বুলি লিখা এখন জাননী তেওঁৰ ওপৰত লিখি দিলে।
39 One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, “If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!”
৩৯তেতিয়া ক্ৰুচত আঁৰি থোৱা সেই দুজন দুষ্কর্মীৰ এজনে তেওঁক নিন্দা কৰি ক’লে, “আপুনি খ্ৰীষ্ট নহয় নে? আপুনি নিজকে আৰু আমাকো ৰক্ষা কৰক।”
40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do not you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
৪০কিন্তু আনজনে সেই দুষ্কৰ্মীক ডবিয়াই ক’লে, “তুমি একেই দণ্ডত থাকিও ঈশ্বৰলৈ ভয় নকৰা নে?
41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong.”
৪১আমি হলে ন্যায় দণ্ডৰ যোগ্য-পাত্ৰ; আমি নিজ নিজ কর্মৰ উচিত ফল পাইছোঁ৷ কিন্তু এইজনে একো অনুচিত কর্ম কৰা নাই৷”
42 He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”
৪২পাছত তেওঁ ক’লে, “হে যীচু, আপুনি আপোনাৰ ৰাজ্যলৈ আহিলে, মোকো সুৱঁৰিব।”
43 Jesus said to him, “Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
৪৩যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মই তোমাক স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, তুমি আজিয়েই পৰমদেশত মোৰ সঙ্গী হবা।”
44 It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.
৪৪তেতিয়া বাৰ মান বজাৰ সময় হ’ল আৰু তিনি বজালৈকে গোটেই খন দেশৰ ওপৰত আন্ধাৰ হ’ল;
45 The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
৪৫সূর্যও লুপ্ত হৈ গ’ল আৰু মন্দিৰৰ আঁৰ-কাপোৰ খন মাজেদি ফাটি গ’ল।
46 Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
৪৬পাছত যীচুৱে বৰ মাতেৰে ক’লে, “হে পিতৃ, তোমাৰ হাতত মোৰ আত্মা সমর্পণ কৰিছোঁ৷” এই বুলি কৈ, তেওঁ প্ৰাণ ত্যাগ কৰিলে।
47 When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.”
৪৭তেতিয়া যি যি হ’ল, তাকে দেখি, এশৰ সেনাপতিয়ে ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰি ক’লে, “এই মানুহ জন সঁচাকৈ ধাৰ্মিক আছিল।”
48 All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their chests.
৪৮এই দৃশ্য চাবলৈ যি সকল লোক আহিছিল, তেওঁলোকে এই সকলো ঘটনা দেখি হিয়া ভুকুৱাই উলটি গ’ল৷
49 All his acquaintances and the women who followed with him from Galilee stood at a distance, watching these things.
৪৯কিন্তু তেওঁৰ চিনাকি লোক আৰু যি তিৰোতা সকল গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে আহি আছিল, তেওঁলোকেও আতৰত থিয় হৈ এইবোৰ ঘটনা চাই আছিল।
50 Behold, there was a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man
৫০তেতিয়া তাত উপস্থিত থকা ইহুদী সকলৰ অৰিমাথিয়া নগৰৰ যোচেফ নামেৰে উত্তম আৰু ধাৰ্মিক হিচাপে জনাজাত যি ধার্মিক মেলুৱৈ জন আছিল,
51 (he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was also waiting for God’s Kingdom.
৫১সেই মেলুৱৈ জনে তেওঁলোকৰ আলোচনা আৰু কর্মত সন্মতি দিয়া নাছিল৷ তেওঁ অৰিমাথিয়াৰ পৰা আহিছিল৷ এই চহৰ খন আছিল ইহুদী লোকৰ চহৰ৷ তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যলৈ অপেক্ষা কৰি আছিল৷
52 This man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.
৫২এই ব্যক্তি জনে পীলাতৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ যীচুৰ দেহ বিচাৰিলে।
53 He took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid.
৫৩পাছত তেওঁক নমাই শণ সূতাৰ মিহি কাপোৰেৰে মেৰিয়াই, আগেয়ে কোনো ব্যক্তিৰ দেহ নোথোৱা শিলত খান্দি উলিওৱা এটা মৈদামত শুৱাই থ’লে।
54 It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near.
৫৪সেইদিন আয়োজনৰ দিন আছিল আৰু বিশ্ৰামবাৰো ওচৰ চাপিছিল।
55 The women who had come with him out of Galilee followed after, and saw the tomb and how his body was laid.
৫৫তাতে তেওঁৰ সৈতে গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ পৰা অহা তিৰোতা সকলে তেওঁৰ দেহ কেনেকৈ থোৱা হ’ল, সেই বিষয়ে চাবলৈ আহিছিল৷
56 They returned and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
৫৬পাছত উলটি আহি, সুগন্ধি দ্ৰব্য আৰু তেল যুগুত কৰিলে। পাছত তেওঁলোকে বিধানৰ দৰে বিশ্ৰামবাৰে জিৰণি ল’লে।
