< Jonah 2 >

1 Then Jonah prayed to the LORD, his God, out of the fish’s belly.
Kalpasanna, nagkararag ni Jonas kenni Yahweh a Diosna iti kaaddana iti tian ti lames.
2 He said, "I called because of my affliction to the LORD. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol (Sheol h7585) I cried. You heard my voice.
Kinunana, “Immawagak kenka O Yahweh maipanggep iti pakariribukak ket sinungbatannak; manipud iti tian ti sheol, nagpatulongak! Nanggegmo ti timekko. (Sheol h7585)
3 For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.
Intapuaknak iti kaadalman, iti lansad ti taaw, ket nalawlawak iti danum; sinabbuagandak dagiti dalluyonmo.
4 I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’
Ket kinunak, 'Napagtalawak manipud iti imatangmo; kasano a makitak manen ti nasantoan a templom?'
5 The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.
Linapunosnak ti danum a mangala ti biagko; linawlawnak ti kaadalman; naibalkot iti ulok ti ruot ti taaw.
6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever; yet you have brought my life up from the pit, LORD my God.
Bimmabaak kadagiti puon dagiti bantay; naibalunet ti daga kaniak iti agnanayon. Ngem inyaonmo ti biagko manipud iti abot, O Yahweh, a Diosko!
7 “When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.
Idi kimmapuy ti kararuak, nalagipka O Yahweh; ket dimmanon ti kararagko kenka, iti nasantoan a templom.
8 Those who regard vain idols forsake their own mercy.
Dagiti dumdumngeg kadagiti awan serserbina a dios ket inlaksidda ti kinapudnom kadakuada.
9 But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to the LORD.”
Ngem para kaniak, agidatonak kenka nga addaan panangiyebkas ti panagyaman; Tungpalekto no ania ti insapatak. Aggapu kenni Yahweh ti pannakaisalakan!”
10 Then the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
Ket nagsao ni Yahweh iti lames ket insarruana ni Jonas iti namaga a daga.
