< Job 40 >

1 Moreover the LORD answered Job,
Hichun Pakaiyin Job komma aseijin:
2 “Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”
Hatchungnungpa chu nakinelpi nom nah laijam? Pathen thutan dihlouna podohpa nahin, ahileh donbutna ding nanei nahlai em?
3 Then Job answered the LORD,
Hichun Job in Pakai chu adonbut in,
4 “Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
Keima ima hilou kahi, adonbutna ding chu iti kaholdoh jou ding ham? Kakhut in kamuh kisip ing katin,
5 I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.”
Thu tamtah kaseidoh ahitan, seibe ding kanei tapoi.
6 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind:
Hiti chun Pakaiyin chimpei lah a kon in Job ahin donbut in,
7 “Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
Pasal phatah bangin nakong kigah in, keiman nangma doh ding thudoh themkhat kaneijin, chuleh nangin hiche ho chu nadonbut ding ahi.
8 Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?
Kathutan dihna hi tahsan louva nakoija, chule nangma dihna photchetna dinga kei themmo neichan joh ding ham?
9 Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?
Pathen banga thahat nahin, Pathen ogin banga nangin van nagin sah thei ding ham?
10 “Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
Aphai naloupina leh nagun chenan kivon in lang, ja naumna leh aming than nan kivon temin.
11 Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.
Nalung hanna ngoh ding hol in lang, mikiletsah teho jouse chunga chuhen.
12 Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.
Mikiletsah techu namit hei chun jachat sah in lang, migiloute chu adin nauva chun chot phan.
13 Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place.
Leivui lah a chun vui in lang, amaho chu mithigam songkul'a hunk hum den tan.
14 Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
Chutia chu kei jengin jong kapachat ding nahi, ijeh inem itile nabangol thahat chun nahuhuhdoh ahitai.
15 “See now behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox.
Behemoth khu vetemin, nang kasem banga kasem ahin, bongchal bangin hampa ane e.
16 Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly.
Akengphang athahat nale, a oipoh a aphe ho khu ven.
17 He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
Amei jong khu Cedar thing bangin atah in, akhel teni a aphe ho khu detchet a kipheh khomahi.
18 His bones are like tubes of bronze. His limbs are like bars of iron.
Agu ho jong sum-eng long abangin atibah ho jong thihjol tobang ahi.
19 He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword.
Pathen khutsem ho lah a vetkah theipen ahin, chuleh asempa bouvin agihsal thei ahi.
20 Surely the mountains produce food for him, where all the animals of the field play.

21 He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh.

22 The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him.
Vadung pang thingnem ho lah a pahcha phungho chu amadin lim in apange.
23 Behold, if a river overflows, he does not tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth.
Vadung twisoh in ama asunoh phah pon, Jordan vadung soh hen lang chup jongle alungkham deh poi.
24 Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
