Job 3

1 After this Job opened his mouth, and cursed the day of his birth.

၁ထိုနောက်၊ ယောဘသည် နှုတ်ကိုဖွင့်၍

2 Job answered:

၂မိမိဘွားသောနေ့ရက်ကို ကျိန်ဆဲလျက် မြွက်ဆိုသည်ကား။

3 “Let the day perish in which I was born, the night which said, ‘There is a boy conceived.’

၃ငါဘွားသော နေ့ရက်ပျက်စီးပါစေ။ သားယောက်ျားကို ပဋိသန္ဓေယူပြီဟုသိတင်းကြားပြောသော ညဉ့်လည်း ပျက်စီးပါစေ။

4 Let that day be darkness. Do not let God from above seek for it, neither let the light shine on it.

၄ထိုနေ့ရက်မိုက်ပါစေ။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မျက်နှာပြုတော်မမူပါစေနှင့်။ အလင်းမပေါ်ထွန်းပါ စေနှင့်၊

5 Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own. Let a cloud dwell on it. Let all that makes the day black terrify it.

၅မှောင်မိုက်၊ သေမင်းအရိပ်သည် ထိုနေ့ရက် အသရေကို ရှုတ်ချပါစေ။ မိုဃ်းတိမ်ထပ် လွှမ်းမိုးပါစေ။ မွန်းတည့်အရှိန်ဖြင့် ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ် ဖြစ်ပါစေ။

6 As for that night, let thick darkness seize on it. Let it not rejoice among the days of the year. Let it not come into the number of the months.

၆ထိုညဉ့်သည်မှောင်မိုက်၌ ပျောက်ပါစေ။ နှစ်စဉ် နေ့ရက်တို့နှင့် မပေါင်းပါစေနှင့်၊

7 Behold, let that night be barren. Let no joyful voice come therein.

၇လအရေအတွက်၌ မဝင်ပါစေနှင့်။ အော်၊ ထိုညဉ့်သည်ဆိတ်ညံပါစေ။ ရွှင်လန်းသောအသံမရှိပါ စေနှင့်။

8 Let them curse it who curse the day, who are ready to rouse up leviathan.

၈နေ့ရက်ကိုရွေး၍ ကျိန်ဆဲတတ်သောသူ၊ မိကျောင်းကို ထစေတတ်သောသူတို့သည် ထိုညဉ့်ကို ကျိန်ဆဲပါစေ။

9 Let the stars of its twilight be dark. Let it look for light, but have none, neither let it see the eyelids of the morning,

၉ညဦးယံကြယ်တို့သည် မိုက်ပါစေ။ ထိုညဉ့်သည် အလင်းကိုတောင့်တ၍ မရပါစေနှင့်။ နံနက်မိုဃ်းလင်း ကို မမြင်ပါစေနှင့်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊

10 because it did not shut up the doors of my mother’s womb, nor did it hide trouble from my eyes.

၁၀ငါ့အမိ၏ဝမ်းကို ပိတ်မထား၊ ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲကို ငါမမြင်စေခြင်းငှါ မကွယ်မကာ။

11 “Why did not I die from the womb? Why did not I give up the spirit when my mother bore me?

၁၁ငါသည်မွေးစက အဘယ်ကြောင့်မသေသနည်း။ အမိဝမ်းထဲမှ ထွက်စက အဘယ်ကြောင့် အသက်မချုပ် သနည်း။

12 Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breast, that I should nurse?

၁၂ငါ့ကိုအဘယ်ကြောင့် ပိုက်ပွေ့ရသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် နို့တိုက်ရသနည်း။

13 For now I should have lain down and been quiet. I should have slept, then I would have been at rest,

၁၃ထိုသို့မပြုလျှင် ငါသည်အိပ်၍ငြိမ်းပြီ။ ပျော်လျက်နေရပြီ။

14 with kings and counselors of the earth, who built up waste places for themselves;

၁၄မြို့ပျက်တို့ကို ပြင်ဆင်ပြုစုသော လောကီရှင်ဘုရင်၊

15 or with princes who had gold, who filled their houses with silver;

၁၅မှူးမတ်တို့နှင့်၎င်း၊ ရွှေကိုရတတ်၍ ဘဏ္ဍာတိုက်၌ ငွေကိုအပြည့်သိုထားသောမင်းတို့နှင့်၎င်း ငါငြိမ်းရပြီ။

16 or as a hidden untimely birth I had not been, as infants who never saw light.

၁၆သို့မဟုတ် အချိန်နေ့လမစေ့မှီ မွေးသောသူငယ်၊ အလင်းကို မမြင်ရသောသူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ငါပျက်စီးရပြီ။

17 There the wicked cease from troubling. There the weary are at rest.

၁၇ထိုအရပ်၌ လူဆိုးတို့သည် နောက်တဖန်မနှောင့်ရှက်ရ။ ပင်ပန်းသောသူသည်တို့သည် ချမ်းသာ ရကြ၏။

18 There the prisoners are at ease together. They do not hear the voice of the taskmaster.

၁၈အချုပ်ခံရသောသူတို့သည်လည်း အတူငြိမ်ဝပ်ရကြ၏။ ညှဉ်းဆဲသောသူ၏စကားသံကိုမကြားရကြ။

19 The small and the great are there. The servant is free from his master.

၁၉ထိုအရပ်၌ ကြီးသောသူနှင့် ငယ်သောသူရှိကြ၏။ ကျွန်သည်လည်း သခင်လက်နှင့်လွတ်ရ၏။

20 “Why is light given to him who is in misery, life to the bitter in soul,

၂၀ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲခံရသောသူအား အဘယ်ကြောင့်အလင်းကိုပေးသနည်း။ စိတ်နှလုံးခါးသောသူအား အဘယ်ကြောင့် အသက်ကိုပေးသနည်း။

21 who long for death, but it does not come; and dig for it more than for hidden treasures,

၂၁သူတို့သည် သေခြင်းကို တောင့်တ၍မရနိုင်။ ဝှက်ထားသော ဥစ္စာကိုဘော်ခြင်းငှါ တူးသည် ထက်သေ ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို ဘော်ခြင်းငှါ သာ၍ထူးကြ၏။

22 who rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

၂၂သူတို့သည်သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းကို တွေ့သောအခါ အလွန်ဝမ်းမြောက်၍ အထူးသဖြင့် ရွှင်လန်းကြ၏။

23 Why is light given to a man whose way is hidden, whom God has hedged in?

၂၃မိမိသွားသောလမ်း ကွယ်ပျောက်သောသူ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ဆီးကာ ချုပ်ထားသောသူအား အလင်းနှင့် အသက်ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် ပေးသနည်း။

24 For my sighing comes before I eat. My groanings are poured out like water.

၂၄အစာစားခြင်းအရာ၌ ငါညည်းတွားခြင်းရှိ၏။ ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းခြင်း မျက်ရည်သည်လည်း ရေစီးသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။

25 For the thing which I fear comes on me, that which I am afraid of comes to me.

၂၅ငါကြောက်သော အမှုသည် ငါ၌ရောက်လာပြီ။ ငါအလွန်ကြောက်သောဘေးသည် ငါ့ကိုတွေ့မိပြီ။

26 I am not at ease, neither am I quiet, neither do I have rest; but trouble comes.”

၂၆ငါသည်ငြိမ်ဝပ်ခြင်းမရှိ။ ချမ်းဧခြင်းမရှိ။ သက်သာခြင်းမရှိ။ ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲသက်သက်ရှိသည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို လေ၏။
