< Jeremiah 45 >

1 The message that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,
Ma e gima janabi Jeremia nonyiso Baruk wuod Neria e higa mar angʼwen ma Jehoyakim wuod Josia ruodh Juda, bangʼ ka Baruk ne osendiko e kitabu weche mane Jeremia wachone to ondiko:
2 “The LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:
“Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasach Israel, wachoni, in Baruk:
3 ‘You said, “Woe is me now! For the LORD has added sorrow to my pain! I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.”’
Ne iwacho ni, ‘Mano kaka awinjo malit! Jehova Nyasaye osemedona rem; arumo nikech rem mapek ma an-go kendo aonge gi yweyo.’”
4 “You shall tell him, the LORD says: ‘Behold, that which I have built, I will break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up; and this in the whole land.
Jehova Nyasaye nowacho, “Wachne kama: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho: Abiro muko gik moko duto masegero kendo pudho gik moko duto masepidho e piny ngima.
5 Do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for, behold, I will bring evil on all flesh,’ says the LORD, ‘but I will let you escape with your life wherever you go.’”
Bende inyalo dwaro gik madongo ne in owuon? Kik idwargi. Nimar anakel masira ne ji duto, Jehova Nyasaye wacho, to kamoro amora midhiyoe anares ngimani.’”
