Isaiah 65
1 “I am inquired of by those who did not ask. I am found by those who did not seek me. I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name.
“എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കാത്തവർക്ക് ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി; എന്നെ ആവശ്യപ്പെടാത്തവർ എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തി. എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കാത്ത ജനതയോട്, ‘ഇതാ ഞാൻ, ഇതാ ഞാൻ’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
2 I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
നന്നല്ലാത്ത മാർഗത്തിൽക്കൂടി സ്വന്തം സങ്കൽപ്പമനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്ന, ദുർവാശിയുള്ള ജനത്തിന്റെനേരേ ഞാൻ ദിവസംമുഴുവനും കൈനീട്ടി—
3 a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;
അവർ പൂന്തോട്ടങ്ങളിൽ ബലിയർപ്പിച്ചും ബലിപീഠങ്ങളിലെ ഇഷ്ടികകളിന്മേൽ ധൂപംകാട്ടിയും എന്റെ മുഖത്തുനോക്കി അവർ എന്നെ നിരന്തരം പ്രകോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
4 who sit among the graves, and spend nights in secret places; who eat pig’s meat, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
അവർ രാത്രിമുഴുവനും കല്ലറകൾക്കിടയിൽ രഹസ്യമായി ഉറങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നു, പന്നിയിറച്ചി തിന്നുകയും നിഷിദ്ധമാംസത്തിന്റെ ചാറിനാൽ പാത്രങ്ങൾ നിറയ്ക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു;
5 who say, ‘Stay by yourself, do not come near to me, for I am holier than you.’ These are smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all day.
‘മാറിനിൽക്കുക, എന്നോട് അടുക്കരുത്, ഞാൻ നിന്നെക്കാൾ അതിവിശുദ്ധൻ!’ എന്ന് അവർ പറയുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവർ എന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ പുകയും ദിവസം മുഴുവൻ കത്തുന്ന തീയും ആകുന്നു.
6 “Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will repay, yes, I will repay into their bosom
“ഇതാ, അത് എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ എഴുതപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു: ഞാൻ പകരം വീട്ടാതെ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയില്ല; അവരുടെ മാറിടത്തിലേക്കുതന്നെ ഞാൻ പകരംവീട്ടും—
7 your own iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together”, says the LORD, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills. Therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom.”
നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവികരുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കുംതന്നെ,” യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. “അവർ പർവതങ്ങളിൽ ധൂപംകാട്ടുകയും മലകളിൽ എന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതിനാൽ, അവരുടെ പൂർവകാല പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ മുഴുവൻ തുകയും ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മാറിടത്തിലേക്കുതന്നെ അളന്നുകൊടുക്കും.”
8 The LORD says, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “മുന്തിരിക്കുലയിൽ പുതുവീഞ്ഞു കാണുമ്പോൾ, ജനം, ‘അതിനെ നശിപ്പിക്കരുത്, അതിൽ അനുഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ,’ എന്നു പറയുന്നതുപോലെ, എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർക്കുവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ എല്ലാവരെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുകയില്ല.
9 I will bring offspring out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains. My chosen will inherit it, and my servants will dwell there.
ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു സന്തതിയെയും യെഹൂദ്യയിൽനിന്ന് എന്റെ പർവതങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അവകാശിയെയും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും. തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട എന്റെ ജനം അത് അവകാശമാക്കുകയും എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ അവിടെ അധിവസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
10 Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്, ശാരോൻസമതലം അവരുടെ ആട്ടിൻപറ്റത്തിന്റെ ഒരു മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറവും ആഖോർതാഴ്വര അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികളുടെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥലവും ആകും.
11 “But you who forsake the LORD, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;
“എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തെ മറക്കുകയുംചെയ്ത്, ഗദുദേവന് മേശയൊരുക്കുകയും മേനിദേവിക്ക് വീഞ്ഞുകലർത്തി പാനപാത്രം നിറയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ,
12 I will destine you to the sword, and you will all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you did not answer. When I spoke, you did not listen; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight.”
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വാളിന് ഇരയാക്കും, നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരായി വീഴും; കാരണം, ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഉത്തരം നൽകിയില്ല, ഞാൻ സംസാരിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല. എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾക്കുമുമ്പിൽ നിങ്ങൾ തിന്മ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും എനിക്ക് അനിഷ്ടമായതു നിങ്ങൾ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തല്ലോ.”
13 Therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; behold, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be disappointed.
അതിനാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ഭക്ഷിക്കും, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിശന്നിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ പാനംചെയ്യും, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ദാഹിച്ചിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ആനന്ദിക്കും, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ലജ്ജിതരാകും.
14 Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will wail for anguish of spirit.
എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ഗാനമാലപിക്കും അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ആനന്ദത്താൽത്തന്നെ, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഹൃദയവ്യഥയാൽ നിലവിളിക്കും. ഹൃദയഭാരത്തോടെ മുറയിടുകയും ചെയ്യും.
15 You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen, and the Lord GOD will kill you. He will call his servants by another name,
എന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക് നിങ്ങളുടെ പേര് ഒരു ശാപവാക്കായി നിങ്ങൾ ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് നിങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളയും, എന്നാൽ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാർക്ക് അവിടന്ന് മറ്റൊരു പേരു നൽകും.
16 so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
പൂർവകാലത്തെ കഷ്ടത മറക്കപ്പെടുകയും എന്റെ കണ്ണിനു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുകയാൽ, ദേശത്തുവെച്ച് അനുഗ്രഹം ആശംസിക്കുന്നയാൾ ഏകസത്യദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തിലായിരിക്കും ആശംസിക്കുന്നത്, ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു ശപഥംചെയ്യുന്നയാൾ ഏകസത്യദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തിലായിരിക്കും ശപഥംചെയ്യുന്നത്.
17 “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered, nor come into mind.
“ഇതാ, ഞാൻ പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കും. പഴയകാര്യങ്ങൾ ഇനി ഓർക്കുകയോ മനസ്സിൽ വരികയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല.
18 But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem to be a delight, and her people a joy.
പ്രത്യുത, ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിങ്ങൾ സന്തുഷ്ടരായി എന്നേക്കും ആനന്ദിക്കുക, ഞാൻ ജെറുശലേമിനെ ഒരു ആനന്ദമാകുവാനും അതിലെ ജനത്തെ ഒരു സന്തോഷമാകാനുമായിട്ടാണ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത്.
19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and delight in my people; and the voice of weeping and the voice of crying will be heard in her no more.
ഞാൻ ജെറുശലേമിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും എന്റെ ജനത്തിൽ ആഹ്ലാദിക്കും; കരച്ചിലിന്റെയോ നിലവിളിയുടെയോ ശബ്ദം ഇനി അവിടെ കേൾക്കുകയില്ല.
20 “No more will there be an infant who only lives a few days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child will die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed.
“ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും അവിടെ അല്പായുസ്സുകളായ ശിശുക്കൾ ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല തന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം പൂർത്തിയാക്കാത്ത ഒരു വൃദ്ധനും; നൂറാം വയസ്സിൽ മരിക്കുന്നയാൾ ഒരു ശിശുവായി കരുതപ്പെടും; നൂറുവയസ്സുവരെ എത്താത്തയാൾ ശാപഗ്രസ്തരെന്നു പരിഗണിക്കപ്പെടും.
21 They will build houses and inhabit them. They will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
അവർ വീടുകൾ നിർമിച്ച് അവയിൽ വസിക്കും; അവർ മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പുകൾ നട്ട് അവയുടെ ഫലം അനുഭവിക്കും.
22 They will not build and another inhabit. They will not plant and another eat; for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and my chosen will long enjoy the work of their hands.
അവർ ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കു താമസിക്കുന്നതിനായി പണിയുകയോ അവർ നടുകയും മറ്റുള്ളവർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയുമോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല. എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ആയുസ്സ് വൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ആയുസ്സുപോലെയാകും. എന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ ദീർഘകാലം തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയത്നഫലം അനുഭവിക്കും.
23 They will not labor in vain nor give birth for calamity; for they are the offspring of the LORD’s blessed and their descendants with them.
അവർ വ്യർഥമായി അധ്വാനിക്കുകയോ ആപത്തിനായി പ്രസവിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; കാരണം അവരും അവരുടെ സന്തതികളും യഹോവയാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ പിൻഗാമികളാണ്.
24 It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
അവർ വിളിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പേ ഞാൻ ഉത്തരമരുളും; അവർ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെത്തന്നെ ഞാൻ അതു കേൾക്കും.
25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says the LORD.
ചെന്നായും കുഞ്ഞാടും ഒരുമിച്ചു മേയും സിംഹം കാളയെപ്പോലെ പുല്ലുതിന്നും പൊടി സർപ്പത്തിന് ആഹാരമാകും. എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിൽ എല്ലായിടത്തും ഉപദ്രവമോ നാശമോ ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
