< Galatians 4 >

1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all,
nijova kuuti ulwakuva umwimilisi ghwe mwana, aling'ine nu m'bombi, nambe ulwakuva ghwe nyakyuma kyoni.
2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.
pe lino alipasi pavalolelesi kuhanga unsiki ghuno ghuvikilule nu viise ghwake.
3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.
pe pano najusue pano tulyale vaanha, tukakolelivue mu vuvombi vwa vutavike vwa kwanda vwa iisi.
4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,
neke unsiki ghuno ghunoghile yeghufikile, uNguluve akansung'ha unswambe, umuholua ghwa n'dala, umuholua mu ndaghilo.
5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children.
akavombile ndikio neke kukuvapoka vano valyale mundaghilo, neke kuti twupile mu sa kuuva hwene vaanha.
6 And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”
ulwakuva umue muli vaanha, uNguluve akan'sung'ile uMhepo ghwa nswambe n'kate ja numbula siitu, uMhepo juno ikemhelua “Abba, Nhaata”.
7 So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
mu ulu usue natulivavombi kange looli vaanha. ndeve ve vaanha pe tulivimilisi kukilila uNguluve.
8 However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.
nambe unsiki ghuno namukan'kagwile uNguluve, mulywale vavombi ku vala vano muvwandilo naihwani fya Nguluve.
9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?
neke lino ulwakuva mukun'kagula uNguluve, nambe kuuti mukagulika kwa Nguluve kiki mugomoka kange muvutavike uvuvotevote uvwa kwanda kange vusila lutalama? pe munoghelua kuva vavombi kanhe?
10 You observe days, months, seasons, and years.
mukukikola ku vulolesi ikoghono ikitavike kukong'ana kwa mwesi, na maka. nikwoghopa vwimila jinu.
11 I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.
nikwoghopa kuuti mu lumonga mukipumwisie vuvule.
12 I beg you, brothers, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong,
nikuvasuuma vanyalukolo muvisaghe ndavule nilivuo,
13 but you know that because of weakness in the flesh I preached the Good News to you the first time.
ulwakuva kange nili ndavule nilivuo. namukanihokie. pe mukagula kuuti, looli vulyale vutamy vwa m'bili kuuti nulyadalikile ilivangili kulyumue ulwa kwanda.
14 That which was a temptation to you in my flesh, you did not despise nor reject; but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
nambe uvwumi vwango vwa m'bili vulyale mu g'helo, namukanibenapwile nambe kukunikana. pepano mukanyipile hwene Mhepo ghwa Nguluve, ilyale hwene ghwe Kilisite jujuo.
15 What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.
pe lino, muhovokela kiki? ulwakuva nikusagha kulyumue kuuti, ndejiwesekana muvusie amaaso ghinu na kukumhela une.
16 So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?
neke lino pe nili mulugu ghwinu ulwakuva nikuvavula uvulweli?
17 They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.
vikuvalonda kwa kunoghua, kange navagholou. vilonda kukuvavika lubale nune, neke muvalutile.
18 But it is always good to be zealous in a good cause, and not only when I am present with you.
ke kanono jaatu kuva nu lunoghelua ku vufumbue vuno vunono, nakwekuuti lwene pano milipalikimo nune looli ifighono fyoni.
19 My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you—
vanango vadebe nivavua uvutungu vwimila jiinu kange kuhanga uKilisite avumbike n'kate jiinu.
20 but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.
lino nale ninoghelua kuva palikimo numue na kusyetulania isavuti jango, ulwakuva nanili nu lutengano numue.
21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do not you listen to the law?
mumbule umue mwevano munoghua kuva pasi pa ndaghilo, namupulika kange indaghilo pano jiti?
22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.
ulwakuva jilembilue kuuti uAbulahamu alyale na vaanha vaviliavadimi, jumo kwa n'dala um'bombi nu junge kwa n'dala huru,
23 However, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.
nambe nahele, ughwa akaholilue m'bombi akaholilue mu lwa m'bili lwene. loli jula ughwa n'dala huru akaholilue ku lufingo.
24 These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.
isi ndeponu sijovua kwakutulila ikuhwani, ulwakuva avadla ava vilingana na mapuling'ano ghavili. ghamo kuhula ku kidunda Sinai. kihola avaanha vano avombi. uju ghwe Hajili.
25 For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.
lino uHajili kwe kidunda Sinai kino kili ku Arabuni. kiling'anisivua ni Yelusalemu ija lino, ulwakuva ve vavombi palikimo na vaanha vaake.
26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
pe iYelusalemu jino jili nkyanya jili huru, iji je mama jitu.
27 For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who do not bear. Break out and shout, you who do not travail. For the desolate women have more children than her who has a husband.”
ulwakuva jilembilue, “hovoka, uve ghwe n'dala juno naghuhola. tosia isavuti kukyanya na kuhovoka, uve ghwe juno numanyile kuhola. ulwakuva vinga ve vaanha va juno naihola, kukila vala vala vajuno ali numughosi.
28 Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
lino vanyalukolo ndavule u Isaka, umue mulivaanha va lufingo,
29 But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.
mu n'siki ghula ghuno umuunhu ghweni juno akaholilue ku vutavike vwa m'bili akampumwisie jula juno akaholilue ku vutavike vwa Mhepo. na lino vwe vulevule.
30 However, what does the Scripture say? “Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”
amalembe ghiti ndani? m'busie un'dala um'bombi palikimo nu n'swambe. ulwakuva un'swambe ghwa n'dala um'bombi naililololela palikimo nu mwanha ghwa n'dala huru.'
31 So then, brothers, we are not children of a servant, but of the free woman.
pe lino vanyalukolo usue natuli vaanha va n'dala um'bombi, looli va n'dala huru.
