Galatians 4
1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all,
१आता मी म्हणतो की, वारीस लहान बाळ आहे, तोपर्यंत तो सर्वांचा धनी असूनही त्याच्यामध्ये व दासामध्ये काही फरक नसतो.
2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.
२पण पित्याने ठरवलेल्या मुदतीपर्यंत तो शिक्षकांच्या व कारभाऱ्याच्या स्वाधीन असतो.
3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.
३अशाप्रकारे आपणदेखील बाळ असताना, आपण जगाच्या प्राथमिक शिक्षणाच्या दास्यात होतो.
4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,
४पण काळाची पूर्णता झाली तेव्हा देवाने आपल्या पुत्राला पाठवले; तो स्त्रीपासून जन्मास आला, नियमशास्त्राधीन असा जन्मास आला,
5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children.
५ह्यात उद्देश हा होता की, नियमशास्त्राखाली असलेल्यांना त्याने खंडणी भरून सोडवावे; म्हणजे आपल्याला पुत्र होण्याचा हक्क मिळावा.
6 And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”
६आणि तुम्ही पुत्र आहात म्हणून, देवाने अब्बा-पिता, अशी हाक मारणाऱ्या आपल्या पुत्राच्या आत्म्याला तुमच्याआमच्या अंतःकरणात पाठवले आहे;
7 So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
७म्हणून तू आतापासून दास नाही तर पुत्र आहेस; आणि पुत्र आहेस, तर देवाच्याद्वारे वारीसही आहेस.
8 However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.
८तथापि पूर्वी तुम्ही देवाला ओळखीत नव्हता, तेव्हा, जे स्वभावतः देव नाहीत त्यांचे दास होता;
9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?
९पण आता तुम्ही देवाला ओळखीत असताना किंवा देव तुम्हास ओळखीत असताना तुम्ही त्या दुर्बळ व निःसत्व प्राथमिक शिक्षणाकडे पुन्हा कसे परत जाता? आणि पुन्हा त्यांच्या दास्यात राहण्याची इच्छा करता?
10 You observe days, months, seasons, and years.
१०तुम्ही दिवस, महिने, ऋतू आणि वर्षे पाळता.
11 I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.
११तुमच्यासाठी मी केलेले श्रम कदाचित व्यर्थ झाले असतील, अशी मला तुमच्याविषयी भीती वाटते.
12 I beg you, brothers, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong,
१२बंधूंनो, मी तुम्हास विनवणी करतो की, तुम्ही माझ्यासारखे व्हा, कारण मीही तुमच्यासारखा होतो. तुम्ही माझे काहीच वाईट केले नाही.
13 but you know that because of weakness in the flesh I preached the Good News to you the first time.
१३प्रथम तुम्हास शुभवर्तमान सांगण्याचा पहिला प्रसंग मला माझ्या शारीरीक व्याधीमुळे मिळाला हे तुम्हास माहित आहे.
14 That which was a temptation to you in my flesh, you did not despise nor reject; but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
१४आणि माझ्या देहाच्या अशक्तपणात तुमची परीक्षा होत असता, तुम्ही तिरस्कार केला नाही पण माझा देवाच्या दूतासारखा, ख्रिस्त येशूसारखा स्वीकार केला.
15 What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.
१५तर तेव्हाचा तुमचा तो आशीर्वाद कोठे आहे? कारण, मी तुमच्याविषयी साक्ष देतो की, शक्य असते तर तुम्ही मला तुमचे स्वतःचे डोळे काढून दिले असते.
16 So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?
१६मग मी तुम्हास खरे सांगतो म्हणून मी तुमचा वैरी झालो आहे काय?
17 They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.
१७ते लोक तुमच्याविषयी आवेशी आहेत तरी चांगल्या प्रकारे नाही पण तुम्ही त्यांच्याविषयी आवेशी असावे म्हणून ते तुम्हास आमच्यापासून वेगळे करू पाहतात.
18 But it is always good to be zealous in a good cause, and not only when I am present with you.
१८तर चांगल्या कारणांसाठी सर्वदा आवेशी असणे हे चांगले आणि मी तुम्हाजवळ प्रत्यक्ष आहे तेव्हाच मात्र आवेशी असावे असे नाही.
19 My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you—
१९माझ्या मुलांनो, तुमच्यात ख्रिस्ताचे रूप निर्माण होईपर्यंत मला तुमच्यासाठी पुन्हा प्रसूती वेदना होत आहेत.
20 but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.
२०ह्यावेळी मी तुमच्याबरोबर हजर असतो आणि आवाज चढवून बोलता आले असते तर मला बरे वाटले असते कारण तुमच्याविषयी मी संशयात आहे.
21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do not you listen to the law?
२१जे तुम्ही नियमशास्त्राधीन व्हावयास पाहता ते तुम्ही नियमशास्त्र ऐकत नाही काय? हे मला सांगा.
22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.
२२कारण पवित्र शास्त्रात असे लिहिले आहे की, अब्राहामाला दोन पुत्र होतेः एक दासीपासून व एक स्वतंत्र स्त्रीपासून झालेला.
23 However, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.
२३पण दासीपासून झालेला देहस्वभावानुसार जन्माला आला होता; तर स्वतंत्र स्त्रीपासून झालेला वचनामुळे जन्मला.
24 These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.
२४या गोष्टी दृष्टांतरूपाने समजावल्या जावू शकतात. त्या स्त्रिया दोन करारासारख्या आहेत एक सीनाय पर्वतावरून केलेला व दास्यासाठी मुलांना जन्म देणारा करार म्हणजे हागार होय.
25 For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.
२५कारण ही हागार अरबस्तानातील सीनाय पर्वत आहे आणि ती आत्ताच्या यरूशलेमेच्या जोडीची आहे. आपल्या मुलांबाळांसह दास्यात आहे.
26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
२६नवीन वरील यरूशलेम स्वतंत्र आहे; ही आपल्या सर्वांची आई आहे.
27 For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who do not bear. Break out and shout, you who do not travail. For the desolate women have more children than her who has a husband.”
२७पवित्र शास्त्रात असे लिहिले आहे की, “अगे वंध्ये, तुला मूल होत नसले तरी, तू आनंदित हो! ज्या तुला प्रसूतिवेदना होत नाही, ती तू आनंदाने जयघोष कर! आनंदाची आरोळी मार! कारण जिला पती आहे तिच्या मुलांपेक्षा, आशा सोडलेल्या स्त्रीची मुले अधिक आहेत.”
28 Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
२८आता बंधूनो, इसहाकासारखे तुम्ही अभिवचनाची संतती आहात.
29 But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.
२९परंतु त्यावेळेस देहस्वभावानुसार जो जन्मला होता, त्याने जो आत्म्यानुसार जन्मलेल्या मुलाचा छळ केला, तसा आताही होत आहे.
30 However, what does the Scripture say? “Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”
३०पण शास्त्रलेख काय सांगतो? ‘तू त्या दासीला व तिच्या मुलाला घालवून दे; कारण दासीचा मुलगा स्वतंत्र स्त्रीच्या मुलाबरोबर वारीस होणारच नाही.’
31 So then, brothers, we are not children of a servant, but of the free woman.
३१तर मग, बंधूंनो, आपण दासीची मुले नाही, पण स्वतंत्र स्त्रीची मुले आहोत.
