Ezekiel 34
1 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and tell them, even the shepherds, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the sheep?
੨ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ! ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕੀ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਕਿ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਚਾਰਨ?
3 You eat the fat. You clothe yourself with the wool. You kill the fatlings, but you do not feed the sheep.
੩ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਰਬੀ ਖਾਂਦੇ, ਉੱਨ ਪਹਿਨਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਇੱਜੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਰਦੇ ਹੋ।
4 You have not strengthened the diseased. You have not healed that which was sick. You have not bound up that which was broken. You have not brought back that which was driven away. You have not sought that which was lost, but you have ruled over them with force and with rigor.
੪ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਬਿਮਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਰੋਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਚੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭਿਆ, ਸਗੋਂ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ।
5 They were scattered, because there was no shepherd. They became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.
੫ਉਹ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਏ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਆਜੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਖੇਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈਆਂ।
6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth. There was no one who searched or sought.”
੬ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਉੱਚੇ ਟਿੱਬੇ ਤੇ ਭਟਕਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਿਆ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
7 “‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the LORD’s word:
੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੇ ਆਜੜੀਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣੋ!
8 “As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, and my shepherds did not search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and did not feed my sheep,
੮ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਈਆਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਖੇਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣੀਆਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਆਜੜੀ ਨਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਰਿਆ।
9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the LORD’s word!”
੯ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੇ ਆਜੜੀਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣੋ!
10 The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against the shepherds. I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep. The shepherds will not feed themselves any more. I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.”
੧੦ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਇੱਜੜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਮੰਗਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਜੜ ਚੁਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਜੜੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਢਿੱਡ ਨਾ ਭਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਇੱਜੜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਛੁਡਾ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ।
11 “‘For the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.
੧੧ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।
12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so I will seek out my sheep. I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
੧੨ਜਿਵੇਂ ਆਜੜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਹੋਣ। ਓਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਬੱਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਛੁਡਾ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
13 I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
੧੩ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
14 I will feed them with good pasture, and their fold will be on the mountains of the height of Israel. There they will lie down in a good fold. They will feed on rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
੧੪ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਜੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਚੰਗੇ ਵਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਟਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੀ ਜੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਰਨਗੀਆਂ।
15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down,” says the Lord GOD.
੧੫ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਟਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
16 “I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will feed them in justice.”’
੧੬ਮੈਂ ਗਵਾਚੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੱਢੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਟੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
17 “As for you, O my flock, the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.
੧੭ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀਓ ਭੇਡੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਭੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡ ਵਿੱਚ, ਦੁੰਬਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
18 Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? And to have drunk of the clear waters, but must you foul the residue with your feet?
੧੮ਕੀ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਜਾਪੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਚਰਾਂਦ ਚਰ ਲਓ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਚਰਾਂਦ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮਿੱਧ ਦਿਓ? ਅਤੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਚੋਲ ਦਿਓ?
19 As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.’
੧੯ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮਿੱਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੂੰ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਚੋਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ!
20 “Therefore the Lord GOD says to them: ‘Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
੨੦ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
21 Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad,
੨੧ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਸੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੋਢੇ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਧੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਿੱਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈਆਂ।
22 therefore I will save my flock, and they will no more be a prey. I will judge between sheep and sheep.
੨੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਫੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਬਣਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
23 I will set up one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.
੨੩ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਆਜੜੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰੇਗਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਜੜੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
24 I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them. I, the LORD, have spoken it.
੨੪ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
25 “‘I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land. They will dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
੨੫ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਦਰਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਣਗੇ।
26 I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing.
੨੬ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹਨ, ਬਰਕਤ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਬਰਕਤ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੀ।
27 The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.
੨੭ਖੇਤ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਰੱਸੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਛੁਡਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
28 They will no more be a prey to the nations, neither will the animals of the earth devour them; but they will dwell securely, and no one will make them afraid.
੨੮ਉਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਈ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਬਣਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਿੰਦੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੜੱਪ ਨਾ ਸਕਣਗੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਡਰਾਵੇਗਾ।
29 I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they will no more be consumed with famine in the land, and not bear the shame of the nations any more.
੨੯ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਚਾਰਗਾਹ ਉਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਫੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾ ਸਹਿਣਗੇ।
30 They will know that I, the LORD, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord GOD.
੩੦ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
