Deuteronomy 33
1 This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
੧ਇਹ ਉਹ ਅਸੀਸ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੂਸਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
2 He said, “The LORD came from Sinai, and rose from Seir to them. He shone from Mount Paran. He came from the ten thousands of holy ones. At his right hand was a fiery law for them.
੨ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੀਨਈ ਤੋਂ ਆਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਸੇਈਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਭਰਿਆ, ਉਹ ਪਾਰਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਚਮਕਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਇਆ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਗਨੀ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ ਸੀ।
3 Yes, he loves the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.
੩ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਭ ਉਠਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
4 Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.
੪ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਠਹਿਰੀ।
5 He was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people were gathered, all the tribes of Israel together.
੫ਉਹ ਯਸ਼ੁਰੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਜਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਜਮਾਂ ਹੋਏ।
6 “Let Reuben live, and not die; Nor let his men be few.”
੬ਰਊਬੇਨ ਮਰੇ ਨਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਹੋਣ।
7 This is for Judah. He said, “Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah. Bring him in to his people. With his hands he contended for himself. You shall be a help against his adversaries.”
੭ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਲੜਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੋ।
8 About Levi he said, “Your Thummim and your Urim are with your godly one, whom you proved at Massah, with whom you contended at the waters of Meribah.

9 He said of his father, and of his mother, ‘I have not seen him.’ He did not acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
੯ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਖਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
10 They shall teach Jacob your ordinances, and Israel your law. They shall put incense before you, and whole burnt offering on your altar.
੧੦ਉਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਸਿਖਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ। ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣਗੇ।
11 LORD, bless his skills. Accept the work of his hands. Strike through the hips of those who rise up against him, of those who hate him, that they not rise again.”
੧੧ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਠਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਲੱਕ ਤੋੜ ਸੁੱਟ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਫੇਰ ਨਾ ਉੱਠਣ।
12 About Benjamin he said, “The beloved of the LORD will dwell in safety by him. He covers him all day long. He dwells between his shoulders.”
੧੨ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
13 About Joseph he said, “His land is blessed by the LORD, for the precious things of the heavens, for the dew, for the deep that couches beneath,
੧੩ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਤੋਂ, ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਪਈ ਹੋਈ ਡੁੰਘਿਆਈ ਤੋਂ,
14 for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, for the precious things that the moon can yield,
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਪੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਫਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ, ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਦੇ ਉਗਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ,
15 for the best things of the ancient mountains, for the precious things of the everlasting hills,
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਆਦ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਨਾਤਨ ਉੱਚਿਆਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ,
16 for the precious things of the earth and its fullness, the good will of him who lived in the bush. Let this come on the head of Joseph, on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.
੧੬ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ, ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਤੋਂ, ਇਹ ਸਭ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
17 Majesty belongs to the firstborn of his herd. His horns are the horns of the wild ox. With them he will push all the peoples to the ends of the earth. They are the ten thousands of Ephraim. They are the thousands of Manasseh.”
੧੭ਉਹ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੌਠੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਗ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਸਾਨ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਧੱਕੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਲੱਖ, ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹਨ।
18 About Zebulun he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out; and Issachar, in your tents.
੧੮ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਉੱਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ।
19 They will call the peoples to the mountain. There they will offer sacrifices of righteousness, for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, the hidden treasures of the sand.”
੧੯ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਦਣਗੇ, ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਧਰਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤਾਇਤ ਤੋਂ, ਅਤੇ ਰੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਭ ਉਠਾਉਣਗੇ।
20 About Gad he said, “He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness, and tears the arm and the crown of the head.
੨੦ਗਾਦ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੈ ਉਹ, ਜੋ ਗਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗਾਦ ਸ਼ੇਰਨੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਖੋਪੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ।
21 He provided the first part for himself, for the lawgiver’s portion was reserved for him. He came with the heads of the people. He executed the righteousness of the LORD, His ordinances with Israel.”
੨੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉੱਥੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
22 About Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s cub that leaps out of Bashan.”
੨੨ਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਦਾਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਕੁੱਦਦਾ ਹੈ।
23 About Naphtali he said, “Naphtali, satisfied with favor, full of the LORD’s blessing, Possess the west and the south.”
੨੩ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ, ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈਂ, ਪੱਛਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈ।
24 About Asher he said, “Asher is blessed with children. Let him be acceptable to his brothers. Let him dip his foot in oil.
੨੪ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਆਸ਼ੇਰ, ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਤੇਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਬੋਏ।
25 Your bars will be iron and bronze. As your days, so your strength will be.
੨੫ਤੇਰੇ ਅਰਲ ਲੋਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਹੋਵੇ।
26 “There is no one like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.
੨੬ਹੇ ਯਸ਼ੁਰੂਨ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੈ।
27 The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said, ‘Destroy!’
੨੭ਅਨਾਦੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਾਮ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸਨਾਤਨ ਭੁਜਾਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਧੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇ।
28 Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
੨੮ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਮਧ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਸੋਤਾ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
29 You are happy, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency? Your enemies will submit themselves to you. You will tread on their high places.”
੨੯ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਤੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ! ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਚਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਪਰਜਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਢਾਲ਼, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਝਿਜਕਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਧਦਾ ਫਿਰੇਂਗਾ।
