Deuteronomy 18
1 The priests and the Levites—all the tribe of Levi—shall have no portion nor inheritance with Israel. They shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire and his portion.
၁လေဝိသားယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အစရှိသော လေဝိ သားအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့နှင့် ရော၍ အဘို့မရှိ အမွေမခံရဘဲ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမွေတည်းဟူသော မီးဖြင့်ပြုသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာတို့ကို စားရကြမည်။
2 They shall have no inheritance among their brothers. The LORD is their inheritance, as he has spoken to them.
၂ထို့ကြောင့်၊ သူတို့သည် ညီအစ်ကိုများနှင့်အတူ အမွေမခံရကြ။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း သူတို့၏ အမွေဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
3 This shall be the priests’ due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep, that they shall give to the priest: the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the inner parts.
၃လူတို့သည် ယဇ်ပူဇော်သောအခါ၊ နွားဖြစ်စေ၊ သိုးဖြစ်စေ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ခံရသောအဘို့ ပခုံးတဘက်၊ ပါးနှစ်ဘက်၊ အအူများကို၎င်း၊
4 You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep.
၄အဦးသိမ်းသော စပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည်၊ ဆီ၊ သိုးမွေးကို ၎င်း လှူရမည်။
5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes to stand to minister in the LORD’s name, him and his sons forever.
၅အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သူမှစ၍ သားစဉ်မြေးဆက် တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားအခွင့်နှင့် အမှုတော်ကို အစဉ် ဆောင်ရွက်စေခြင်းငှာ၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်၊ သင်၏ အမျိုးအနွယ်အပေါင်းတို့တွင် သူ့ကို ရွေးကောက်တော်မူပြီ။
6 If a Levite comes from any of your gates out of all Israel where he lives, and comes with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose,
၆ဣသရေလမြို့ရွာတို့၌ တည်းခိုသော လေဝိသား တစုံတယောက်သည်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ရွေးကောက်တော်မူ သောအရပ်ကို ကြည်ညိုသောစိတ်အားကြီး၍ ရောက်လာ လျှင်၊
7 then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brothers the Levites do, who stand there before the LORD.
၇ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ နေရာရသော ညီအစ် ကို လေဝိသားအပေါင်းတို့နည်းတူ သူ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားအခွင့်နှင့် အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ရမည်။
8 They shall have like portions to eat, in addition to that which comes from the sale of his family possessions.
၈သူ၏အမွေကို ရောင်း၍ရသော ဥစ္စာမှတပါး၊ လေဝိသားများတို့နှင့်အတူ အညီအမျှခံရမည်။
9 When you have come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the abominations of those nations.
၉သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားပေးတော်မူ သောပြည်သို့ သင်သည် ဝင်စားသောအခါ၊ ထိုပြည်၌နေ သော လူမျိုးတို့ပြုတတ်သော စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ်အမှု တို့ကို ပြုခြင်းငှာ မသင်ရ။
10 There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who tells fortunes, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer,
၁၀သင်တို့တွင် မိမိသားသမီးကို မီးဖြင့်ပူဇော်သော သူ၊ ဖြစ်လတံ့သောအမှုကို ကိုယ်ဥာဏ်နှင့် ဟောပြော သောသူ၊ ကာလဗေဒင်ကို ကြည့်သောသူ၊ မကောင်းသော အတတ်ကို ပြုစုသောသူ၊
11 or a charmer, or someone who consults with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
၁၁ပြုစားတတ်သောသူ၊ နတ်ဆိုးနှင့်ပေါင်းသောသူ၊ ဝိဇ္ဇာအတတ်ကို ပြုစုသောသူ၊ လူသေကို မေးမြန်းသောသူ တစုံတယောက်မျှ မရှိရ။
12 For whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD. Because of these abominations, the LORD your God drives them out from before you.
၁၂ထိုသို့ ပြုတတ်သောသူ အပေါင်းတို့ကို ထာဝရ ဘုရား စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။ ထိုစက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာဘွယ် သော အမှုများတို့ကြောင့် သင်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ထိုလူမျိုးတို့ကို သင့်ရှေ့မှ နှင်ထုတ်တော်မူ၏။
13 You shall be blameless with the LORD your God.
၁၃သင်သည်၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့တော်၌ စုံလင်ခြင်းရှိရမည်။
14 For these nations that you shall dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery and to diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you so to do.
၁၄သင်အစိုးရအံ့သော လူမျိုးတို့သည်၊ ကာလ ဗေဒင်ကို ကြည့်သောသူ၊ ဖြစ်လတံ့သောအမှုကို ကိုယ် ဥာဏ်အားဖြင့် ဟောပြောသောသူတို့ စကားကို နား ထောင်တတ်ကြ၏။ သင်မူကား ထိုသို့ ပြုရအောင် သင်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အခွင့်ပေးတော်မမူ။
15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.
၁၅သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ သင်၏ အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့အထဲ၌ ငါနှင့်တူသော ပရော ဖက်တပါးကို သင့်အဘို့ ပေါ်ထွန်းစေတော်မူမည်။ ထိုပရောဖက်၏ စကားကို နားထောင်ရမည်။
16 This is according to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, “Let me not hear again the LORD my God’s voice, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.”
၁၆ဟောရပ်အရပ်တွင် စည်းဝေးကြသော နေ့၌ သင်က၊ နောက်တဖန် အကျွန်ုပ်ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ စကားတော်အသံကို မကြားရပါစေနှင့်။ ထိုကြီးစွာသော မီးကို မမြင်ရပါစေနှင့်။ အကျွန်ုပ်သေမည် ကို စိုးရိမ်ပါသည်ဟု သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့တော်၌ တောင်းပန်သမျှအတိုင်း၊
17 The LORD said to me, “They have well said that which they have spoken.
၁၇ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သူတို့ စကားသည် လျောက် ပတ်ပေ၏။
18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you. I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
၁၈သူတို့အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့အထဲ၌ သင်နှင့်တူသော ပရောဖက်တပါးကို သူတို့အဘို့ ငါပေါ်ထွန်းစေ၍၊ ထိုပရောဖက်နှုတ်၌ ငါ့စကားကို ငါအပ်သဖြင့် ငါမှာထား သမျှတို့ကို သူတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုရလိမ့်မည်။
19 It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
၁၉ထိုပရောဖက်သည် ငါ့အခွင့်နှင့် ဟောပြော သော ငါ့စကားတို့ကို အကြင်သူသည် နားမထောင်ဘဲ နေအံ့၊ ထိုသူကို ငါစစ်ကြောမည်။
20 But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.”
၂၀ငါမမှာထားဘဲ ငါ့အခွင့်ကို ဆောင်၍ ရဲရင့်စွာ ဟောပြောသော ပရောဖက်၊ အခြားတပါးသော ဘုရား အခွင့်နှင့် ဟောပြောသော ပရောဖက်သည် အသေသတ် ခြင်းကို ခံရမည်ဟု ငါ့အား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
21 You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?”
၂၁သင်ကလည်း ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည် မမူသည်ကို ငါတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ သိနိုင်သနည်းဟု တွေး တောလျှင်၊
22 When a prophet speaks in the LORD’s name, if the thing does not follow, nor happen, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.
၂၂ပရောဖက်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အခွင့်ကို ဆောင်၍ ဟောပြောသည်အတိုင်း အမှုမဖြစ်၊ ဟောပြော သောစကားမပြည့်စုံလျှင်၊ ထိုစကားကို ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မမူ၊ ပရောဖက်သည် ရဲရင့်စွာဟောပြောပြီ။ သူ့ကို မကြောက်ရ။
