Acts 3
1 Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
| یک روز بعد از ظهر پطرس و یوحنا به معبد می‌رفتند تا مانند هر روز در مراسم دعای ساعت سه شرکت کنند. |
2 A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.
| وقتی به نزدیکی معبد رسیدند، مردی را دیدند که لنگ مادرزاد بود. هر روز او را می‌آوردند و در کنار یکی از دروازه‌های معبد که «دروازۀ زیبا» نام داشت می‌گذاشتند تا از کسانی که وارد معبد می‌شدند گدایی کند. |
3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.
| وقتی پطرس و یوحنا می‌خواستند وارد معبد شوند، آن مرد از ایشان پول خواست. |
4 Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
| ایشان به او خیره شدند. سپس پطرس گفت: «به ما نگاه کن!» |
5 He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
| گدای لنگ به امید اینکه چیزی به او بدهند، با اشتیاق به ایشان نگاه کرد. |
6 But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
| پطرس گفت: «من نقره یا طلایی ندارم که به تو بدهم! اما آنچه را که دارم، به تو می‌دهم! در نام عیسی مسیح ناصری به تو دستور می‌دهم که برخیزی و راه بروی!» |
7 He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
| سپس دست او را گرفت و از زمین بلندش کرد. در همان لحظه پاها و قوزک پاهای او صحیح و سالم شد و قوت گرفت، |
8 Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
| به طوری که از جا پرید، لحظه‌ای روی پاهای خود ایستاد و به راه افتاد! آنگاه در حالی که بالا و پایین می‌پرید و خدا را شکر می‌کرد، با پطرس و یوحنا داخل معبد شد. |
9 All the people saw him walking and praising God.
| اشخاصی که آنجا بودند، او را دیدند که راه می‌رود و خدا را شکر می‌کند، |
10 They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
| و پی بردند که او همان گدای لنگی است که هر روز در کنار «دروازهٔ زیبای» معبد می‌نشست، بی‌اندازه تعجب کردند! |
11 As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
| پس همه به طرف ایوان سلیمان هجوم بردند و او را دیدند که کنار پطرس و یوحنا بود و از آنها جدا نمی‌شد. آنگاه با احترام ایستادند و با حیرت به این واقعهٔ عجیب خیره شدند. |
12 When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?
| پطرس از این فرصت استفاده کرد و به گروهی که در آنجا گرد آمده بودند گفت: «ای مردان اسرائیلی، چرا اینقدر تعجب کرده‌اید؟ چرا اینچنین به ما خیره شده‌اید؟ مگر خیال می‌کنید که ما با قدرت و دینداری خودمان این شخص را شفا داده‌ایم؟ |
13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
| خدای ابراهیم، اسحاق، یعقوب که خدای اجداد ماست با این معجزه، خدمتگزار خود عیسی را سرافراز کرده است. منظورم همان عیسی است که شما تسلیمش کردید و در حضور پیلاتُس انکارش نمودید، در صورتی که پیلاتُس می‌خواست او را آزاد سازد. |
14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
| بله، شما نخواستید او آزاد شود، بلکه آن مرد پاک و مقدّس را رد کردید، و اصرار داشتید به جای او یک قاتل آزاد شود. |
15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.
| شما سرچشمۀ حیات را کشتید، ولی خدا او را زنده کرد. من و یوحنا شاهد این واقعه هستیم چون بعد از آنکه او را کشتید، ما او را زنده دیدیم! |
16 By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
| «شما خود می‌دانید که این مرد فقیر قبلاً لنگ بود. اما اکنون، نام عیسی او را شفا داده است، یعنی ایمان به نام عیسی باعث شفای کامل او شده است. |
17 “Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
| «برادران عزیز، در ضمن این را نیز می‌دانم که رفتار شما و سران قوم شما از روی نادانی بود. |
18 But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
| از طرف دیگر، دست خدا هم در این کار بود، زیرا مطابق پیشگویی‌های همۀ انبیا، مسیح می‌بایست بر روی صلیب برای آمرزش گناهان ما جان خود را فدا می‌کرد. |
19 “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
| پس، توبه کنید، از گناهانتان دست بکشید و به سوی خدا بازگردید تا گناهانتان پاک شود و دوران آسودگی و خرمّی از جانب خداوند فرا برسد. |
20 and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,
| و عیسی را، که همانا مسیح شماست، بار دیگر بفرستد. |
21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke from the age (aiōn g165) by the mouth of his holy prophets.
| چون همان‌طور که خدا از زمانهای قدیم به زبان انبیای مقدّس خود فرموده بود، او باید در آسمان بماند، تا زمانی فرا برسد که خدا همه چیز را اِحیا کند و به حالت اول برگرداند. (aiōn g165) |
22 For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
| موسی نیز فرموده:”خداوندْ خدای شما، از میان برادران شما، پیامبری مانند من برایتان خواهد فرستاد. به هر چه او می‌گوید، باید با دقت گوش کنید؛ |
23 It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
| هر که به او گوش ندهد، از میان قوم منقطع خواهد شد.“ |
24 Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, also told of these days.
| «سموئیل و تمام پیامبران بعد از او، واقعهٔ امروز را پیشگویی کردند. |
25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘All the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.’
| شما فرزندان همان پیامبران هستید و خدا به شما نیز مانند اجدادتان وعده داده است که تمام مردم روی زمین را به‌وسیلۀ نسل ابراهیم برکت دهد. این همان وعده‌ای است که خدا به ابراهیم داد. |
26 God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”
| از این جهت خدا خدمتگزار خود را اول از همه نزد شما، ای بنی‌اسرائیل، فرستاد تا شما را از راههای گناه‌آلودتان بازگرداند و به این وسیله به شما برکت دهد.» |
