2 Chronicles 22
1 The inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his place, because the band of men who came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the oldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.
১তেতিয়া যিৰূচালেমৰ নিবাসীসকলে যিহোৰামৰ কনিষ্ঠ পুত্ৰ অহজিয়াক তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা পাতিলে; কাৰণ আৰবীয়াসকলৰ সৈতে ছাউনিলৈ অহা লোকৰ দলটোৱে তেওঁৰ আটাই কেইজন বৰ পুত্ৰক বধ কৰিছিল। সেয়েহে যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোৰামৰ পুত্ৰ অহজিয়া ৰজা হ’ল।
2 Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.
২অহজিয়াই বিয়াল্লিশ বছৰ বয়সত ৰাজত্ৱ আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল৷ তেওঁ যিৰূচালেমত এবছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰিলে৷ তেওঁৰ মাতৃৰ নাম অথলিয়া আছিল; তেখেত অম্ৰীৰ নাতিয়েক আছিল।
3 He also walked in the ways of Ahab’s house, because his mother was his counselor in acting wickedly.
৩তেওঁৰ মাতৃয়ে তেওঁক মন্ত্রণা দিছিল, আৰু তেওঁ আহাবৰ বংশৰ পথত চলি কু-আচৰণ কৰিছিল।
4 He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, as did Ahab’s house, for they were his counselors after the death of his father, to his destruction.
৪আহাবৰ বংশৰ লোকসকলৰ নিচিনাকৈ তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত কু-আচৰণ কৰিছিল, কাৰণ তেওঁৰ পিতৃৰ মৃত্যুৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকেই তেওঁৰ পৰামর্শ দিওঁতা অাছিল, আৰু তেওঁলোকেই তেওঁক বিনাশ কৰিলে।
5 He also followed their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth Gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.
৫তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ পৰামৰ্শ অনুসৰণ কৰিলে; তেওঁ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আহাবৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোৰামৰ লগত ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দত অৰামৰ ৰজা হজায়েলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ গ’ল৷ তাতে অৰামীয়াসকলে যোৰামক আঘাত কৰিলে।
6 He returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which they had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. Azariah the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
৬এই হেতুকে, তেওঁ অৰামৰ ৰজা হজায়েলে সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰা সময়ত, অৰামীয়াসকলে ৰামাত তেওঁক যি আঘাত কৰিছিল, সেই ঘা-বোৰৰ পৰা সুস্থ হ’বলৈ তেওঁ যিজ্ৰিয়েললৈ ঘূৰি আহিল। তেতিয়া যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোৰামৰ পুত্ৰ অজৰিয়াই আহাবৰ পুত্ৰ যোৰামক চাবলৈ যিজ্ৰিয়েললৈ নামি গ’ল; কিয়নো তেওঁক আঘাত কৰা হৈছিল৷
7 Now the destruction of Ahaziah was of God, in that he went to Joram; for when he had come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off Ahab’s house.
৭কিন্তু অহজিয়াই যোৰামৰ ওচৰলৈ যোৱাৰ কাৰণে ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰা তেওঁলৈ বিনাশ আহিল; কিয়নো তেওঁ যেতিয়া আহিছিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ আৰু যিহোৰামে নিমচীৰ পুত্ৰ যেহূক আক্রমণ কৰিবলৈ ওলাই আহিছিল। কিয়নো যেহূক আহাবৰ বংশ উচ্ছন্ন কৰিবৰ বাবে যিহোৱাই অভিষেক কৰিছিল।
8 When Jehu was executing judgment on Ahab’s house, he found the princes of Judah and the sons of the brothers of Ahaziah serving Ahaziah, and killed them.
৮পাছত যেহূৱে যি সময়ত আহাবৰ বংশৰ ওপৰত ঈশ্বৰৰ দণ্ড সাধিছিল, সেই সময়ত তেওঁ যিহূদাৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলক আৰু অহজিয়াৰ পৰিচৰ্যা কৰোঁতা তেওঁৰ ভায়েকসকলৰ পুত্ৰসকলক পাই বধ কৰিছিল।
9 He sought Ahaziah, and they caught him (now he was hiding in Samaria), and they brought him to Jehu and killed him; and they buried him, for they said, “He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” The house of Ahaziah had no power to hold the kingdom.
৯পাছত তেওঁ অহজিয়াক বিচাৰিলে; লোকসকলে তেওঁক চমৰিয়াত লুকাই থকা অৱস্থাত ধৰি যেহূৰ ওচৰলৈ আনি তেওঁক বধ কৰিলে৷ লোকসকলে তেওঁক মৈদাম দি ক’লে বোলে, “যি যিহোচাফটে তেওঁৰ সকলো মনে সৈতে যিহোৱাক বিচাৰিছিল, তেওঁ সেই জনৰ সন্তান৷” তাতে সেই ৰাজ্যভাৰ ল’বলৈ অহজিয়াৰ বংশৰ মাজত কাৰো সমর্থ নাছিল।
10 Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal offspring of the house of Judah.
১০অহজিয়াৰ মাক অথলিয়াই যেতিয়া নিজৰ পুত্ৰৰ মৃত্যু হোৱা দেখিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ উঠি যিহূদাৰ গোটেই ৰাজ-বংশকে সংহাৰ কৰিলে।
11 But Jehoshabeath, the king’s daughter, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stealthily rescued him from among the king’s sons who were slain, and put him and his nurse in the bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she did not kill him.
১১কিন্তু ৰজাৰ জীয়েক যিহোচাবতে অহজিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ যোৱাচক বধ কৰিবলগীয়া ৰাজকোঁৱৰসকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা চুৰ কৰি আনিলে, আৰু তেওঁক ধাইমাকে সৈতে বিছনা ৰখা কোঁঠালি এটাত ৰাখি হ’ল৷ এইদৰে যিহোয়াদা পুৰোহিতৰ ভাৰ্য্যা, যিহোৰাম ৰজাৰ জীয়েক আৰু অহজিয়াৰ ভনীয়েক সেই যিহোচাবতে যোৱাচক অথলিয়াৰ পৰা লুকুৱালে যাতে ৰাণীয়ে তেওঁক বধ কৰিব নোৱাৰে।
12 He was with them hidden in God’s house six years while Athaliah reigned over the land.
১২পাছত তেওঁ তেওঁলোকে সৈতে ঈশ্বৰৰ গৃহত ছবছৰ লুকাই থাকিল; সেই সময়ত অথলিয়াই দেশৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল।
