2 Chronicles 18

1 Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honor in abundance; and he allied himself with Ahab.

၁ယောရှဖတ် မင်းသည် ဂုဏ် အသရေနှင့် စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာများ ၍ ၊ အာဟပ် မင်းနှင့် အမျိုး ဆက်လေ၏။

2 After some years, he went down to Ahab to Samaria. Ahab killed sheep and cattle for him in abundance, and for the people who were with him, and moved him to go up with him to Ramoth Gilead.

၂နောက်တဖန် ရှမာရိ မြို့၊ အာဟပ် မင်းထံသို့ ကိုယ်တိုင်သွား၍၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာဟပ် သည် ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် နှင့် ၊ သူ၏လူ တို့အဘို့ များစွာ သော သိုး နွား တို့ကိုစီရင်၍၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ လိုက် စေခြင်းငှါ၊

3 Ahab king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat king of Judah, “Will you go with me to Ramoth Gilead?” He answered him, “I am as you are, and my people as your people. We will be with you in the war.”

၃ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ ငါ နှင့်အတူ လိုက် မည် လော ဟုမေး လျှင်၊ ယောရှဖတ်က၊ ငါ သည် မင်းကြီး ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ၊ ငါ လူ တို့သည် မင်းကြီး ၏လူ ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်းဖြစ်လျက်၊ မင်းကြီး နှင့် ဝိုင်း၍ စစ်တိုက် မည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ၏။

4 Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire first for the LORD’s word.”

၄တဖန် ယောရှဖတ် က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်ကို ယနေ့ မေးမြန်း ပါလော့ဟု ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ဆို သော်၊

5 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?” They said, “Go up, for God will deliver it into the hand of the king.”

၅ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ပရောဖက် လေး ရာ တို့ကို စုဝေး စေပြီးလျှင် ၊ ငါသည်ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ကောင်း သလော။မချီဘဲနေကောင်း သလောဟုမေး သော် ၊ သူတို့က ချီတော်မူပါ။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ၏လက် တော်သို့ အပ် တော်မူမည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။

6 But Jehoshaphat said, “Is not there here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we may inquire of him?”

၆ယောရှဖတ် ကလည်း၊ ငါတို့မေးမြန်း စရာ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ပရောဖက် တစုံတပါးမျှမရှိသလောဟု မေးသော်၊

7 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla.” Jehoshaphat said, “Do not let the king say so.”

၇ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မေးမြန်း ရသောသူ တယောက် ၊ ဣမလ သား မိက္ခါ ရှိသေး၏။ သို့ရာတွင်။ထိုသူ ကိုငါ မုန်း ၏။ ငါ ၌ မင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုမ ဟော ၊ အမင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ အစဉ် ဟောတတ်သည်ဟု ယောရှဖတ် အား ဆို လျှင် ၊ ယောရှဖတ် က၊ ထိုသို့မင်းကြီး မ ပြော ပါနှင့်ဟု ပြန်ဆို ၏။

8 Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, “Get Micaiah the son of Imla quickly.”

၈ထိုအခါ ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် အရာရှိ တယောက် ကို ခေါ် ၍ ၊ ဣမလ သား မိက္ခါ ကို အလျင်အမြန် ခေါ်ခဲ့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

9 Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah each sat on his throne, arrayed in their robes, and they were sitting in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

၉ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် တို့သည် မင်းမြောက် တန်ဆာကို ဝတ်ဆင် လျက် ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့တံခါးဝ ရှေ့၊ ဟင်းလင်း သောအရပ်၌ ရာဇ ပလ္လင် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် ၍ ၊ ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဟောပြော ကြ၏။

10 Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made himself horns of iron and said, “The LORD says, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians, until they are consumed.’”

၁၀ခေနာနာ သား ဇေဒကိ သည် သံ ဦးချို တို့ကို လုပ် ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ရှုရိ ပြည်ကို မ ဖျက်ဆီး မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ဤဦးချိုတို့နှင့် တိုးရမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကို ဆင့်ဆို၏။

11 All the prophets prophesied so, saying, “Go up to Ramoth Gilead, and prosper; for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king.”

၁၁ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့ကလည်း ၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည် ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ အောင် တော်မူပါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ၏လက် တော်သို့ အပ် တော်မူ မည်ဟု ပရောဖက် ပြု၍ ဟောကြ၏။

12 The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Let your word therefore, please be like one of theirs, and speak good.”

၁၂မိက္ခါ ကို ခေါ် သောတမန် က၊ ပရောဖက် အပေါင်းတို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ စကား ကိုသာ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား တညီတညွတ် တည်းဟော ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် လည်း သူ တို့ဟော ကြသည်နည်းတူ ၊ မင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ ဟော တော်မူပါဟုဆိုလျှင်၊

13 Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, I will say what my God says.”

၁၃မိက္ခါ က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက်ရှင် တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း၊ ငါ ၏ဘုရားသခင် မိန့် တော်မူသော စကားကိုသာ ငါပြန်ပြော ရမည်ဟုဆို ၏။

14 When he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?” He said, “Go up, and prosper. They shall be delivered into your hand.”

၁၄ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံသို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ အချင်းမိက္ခါ ၊ ငါတို့သည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ကောင်း သလော။မချီဘဲနေကောင်း သလောဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ မိက္ခါကစစ်ချီ ၍ အောင် တော်မူပါ။ ရန်သူတို့ကို လက် တော်သို့ အပ် တော်မူမည်ဟု ပြန်လျှောက် ၏။

15 The king said to him, “How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the LORD’s name?”

၁၅ရှင်ဘုရင် ကလည်း ၊ မှန် သောစကားမှတပါး အခြားသောစကားကို ထာဝရဘုရား အခွင့် နှင့် သင်သည် ငါ့ အား မ ဟော မည်အကြောင်း ၊ ငါ သည်ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ် တိုင်အောင် သင့် အား အကျိန် ပေးရမည်နည်းဟုမေး သော်၊

16 He said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. The LORD said, ‘These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.’”

၁၆မိက္ခါက၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့ သည် သိုးထိန်း မ ရှိသော သိုး ကဲ့သို့ တောင် များအပေါ် မှာ အရပ်ရပ်ကွဲပြား လျက်ရှိကြသည်ကို ငါမြင် ပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း ၊ ဤ သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အရှင် မ ရှိသောကြောင့်၊ အသီးအသီး ကိုယ် နေရာ သို့ ပြန် ကြပါလေစေဟု မိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကို လျှောက်ဆို၏။

17 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did not I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”

၁၇ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ကလည်း ၊ သူသည်ငါ ၌ မင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုမ ဟော ၊ အမင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ ဟောတတ်သည်ဟုမင်းကြီး အား ငါမ ပြော သလော ဟု ယောရှဖတ် အား ဆို ၏။

18 Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the LORD’s word: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.

၁၈မိက္ခါကလည်း၊ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို နားထောင် ပါ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ပလ္လင် တော်ပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် တော်မူသည်ကို၎င်း၊ ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေ အပေါင်း တို့သည် လက်ျာ တော်ဘက်၊ လက်ဝဲ တော်ဘက် ၌ရပ် နေကြသည်ကို၎င်း ၊ ငါမြင် ပြီ။

19 The LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ One spoke saying in this way, and another saying in that way.

၁၉ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း ၊ အာဟပ် သည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ ဆုံး စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ အဘယ်သူ သွေးဆောင် မည်နည်းဟုမေး တော်မူလျှင်၊ အခြံအရံတော်တို့သည် တယောက် တနည်းစီပြန်လျှောက် ကြ၏။

20 A spirit came out, stood before the LORD, and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “The LORD said to him, ‘How?’

၂၀တဖန် ဝိညာဉ် တပါးသည်လာ ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ရပ် လျက် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သွေးဆောင် ပါမည်ဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊

21 “He said, ‘I will go, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ “He said, ‘You will entice him, and will prevail also. Go and do so.’

၂၁ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ အဘယ်သို့ သွေးဆောင်မည်နည်း ဟုမေး တော်မူသော်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သွား ၍ ထိုမင်းကြီး ၏ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့အထဲ မှာ၊ မုသာစကား ကို ပြော တတ်သောစိတ်ဝိညာဉ် ဖြစ် ပါမည်ဟု ပြန်လျှောက် သော် သင်သည်သွေးဆောင် ၍ နိုင် လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသို့ သွား ၍ ပြု လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

22 “Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets; and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.”

၂၂သို့ဖြစ်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မုသာ စကားကို ပြောတတ်သောစိတ်ဝိညာဉ် ကို မင်းကြီး ၏ပရောဖက် အပေါင်းတို့၌ သွင်း တော်မူပြီ။ မင်းကြီး ၏အမှုမှာ အမင်္ဂလာ စကားကို ပြော တော်မူပြီဟု ဟော လေ၏။

23 Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the LORD’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

၂၃ထိုအခါ ခေနာနာ သား ဇေဒကိ သည် ချဉ်းလာ ၍ မိက္ခါ ၏ပါး ကို ပုတ် လျက် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော် သည် သင် နှင့်နှုတ်ဆက် ခြင်းငှါ ၊ အဘယ် လမ်း ဖြင့် ငါ မှ ထွက် တော်မူသနည်းဟုမေး လျှင်၊

24 Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day, when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”

၂၄မိက္ခါ က၊ သင်သည်ပုန်းရှောင် ၍နေခြင်းငှါ ၊ အတွင်း ခန်း ထဲသို့ ဝင် သော နေ့ ၌ သင် မြင် လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို ၏။

25 The king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;

၂၅ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် က၊ မိက္ခါ ကို မြို့ ဝန်မင်း အာမုန် ထံ ၊ သား တော်ယောရှ ထံသို့ ယူသွား ၍၊

26 and say, ‘The king says, “Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.”’”

၂၆ဤ သူကို ထောင် ထဲမှာလှောင်ထား ကြ။ ငါ သည် ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာပြန် ၍ မ လာမှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ဆင်းရဲ စွာ စားသောက် စေဟုအမိန့် တော်ရှိကြောင်းကို ဆင့်ဆို လော့ ဟု စီရင် ၏။

27 Micaiah said, “If you return at all in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me.” He said, “Listen, you people, all of you!”

၂၇မိက္ခါ ကလည်း ၊ မင်းကြီးသည် ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ ပြန်လာ ရလျှင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ အားဖြင့် မိန့် တော် မ မူ၊ အိုလူ များအပေါင်း တို့၊ နားထောင် ကြလော့ဟုဆို ၏။

28 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead.

၂၈ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် တို့သည်၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ကြ၏။

29 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself, and go into the battle; but you put on your robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went into the battle.

၂၉ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် က၊ ငါသည် ခြားနားသော အယောင် ကို ဆောင်၍စစ်ပွဲ ထဲသို့ ဝင် မည်။ မင်းကြီး မူကား ၊ မင်းမြောက်တန်ဆာ ကို ဝတ်ဆင် ပါလော့ဟု ယောရှဖတ် အား ဆို ပြီးမှ ၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ခြားနားသော အယောင် ကိုဆောင်လျက် စစ်ပွဲ ထဲသို့ ဝင် ၏။

30 Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, “Do not fight with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel.”

၃၀ရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် မှတပါး ၊ အခြားသော လူကြီး လူငယ် ကို မ တိုက် နှင့်ဟု ရထား စီး သူရဲ အုပ်ဗိုလ်မင်းတို့ကိုမှာ ထားနှင့် သောကြောင့်၊

31 When the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “It is the king of Israel!” Therefore they turned around to fight against him. But Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.

၃၁ရထား စီးသူရဲ အုပ်ဗိုလ်မင်းတို့သည် ယောရှဖတ် ကိုမြင် သောအခါ ၊ ထိုသူသည် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်ဟုဆို လျက် ၊ သူ့ ကို တိုက် အံ့သောငှါ ဝိုင်းလာကြ ၍၊ ယောရှဖတ် လည်း ကြွေးကြော် လေ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား လည်း မစ ၍ သူတို့ကိုလွှဲ သွားစေခြင်းငှါ ၊ ဘုရားသခင် သွေးဆောင် တော်မူ၏။

32 When the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.

၃၂ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် မ ဟုတ် ကြောင်း ကို၊ ရထား စီးသူရဲ အုပ်ဗိုလ်မင်းတို့သည် ရိပ်မိ သောအခါ ၊ မလိုက်ဘဲ အခြားသို့ ရှောင် သွားကြ၏။

33 A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of the chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.”

၃၃လူ တယောက်သည် မ ရွယ်ဘဲလေး နှင့်ပစ် ၍၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို၊ သံချပ် အင်္ကျီအဆစ် ကြား မှာ မှန် လေသော်၊ ငါ့ ကိုစစ်ပွဲ ထဲက လှည့် ၍ ထုတ် ဆောင် လော့။ ငါနာ သည်ဟု မိမိရထား တော်ထိန်းကို ဆို ၏။

34 The battle increased that day. However, the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the evening; and at about sunset, he died.

၃၄ထို နေ့ ၌ တိုး ၍ တိုက် ကြ၏။ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် သည် ညဦးယံ တိုင်အောင် ၊ ရှုရိ လူတဘက် တချက်၌ ရထား တော်ထဲမှာ လူကိုမှီ ၍ထိုင်နေ၏။ နေဝင် ချိန် နီး သောအခါ အသက် တော်ကုန်၏။
