2 Chronicles 18
1 Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honor in abundance; and he allied himself with Ahab.
১সেই সময়ত যিহোচাফটে অধিক ধন আৰু সন্মান লাভ কৰিলে; আৰু তেওঁ আহাবৰ লগত মিতিৰ পাতিলে।
2 After some years, he went down to Ahab to Samaria. Ahab killed sheep and cattle for him in abundance, and for the people who were with him, and moved him to go up with him to Ramoth Gilead.
২কেইবছৰ মানৰ পাছত তেওঁ চমৰিয়ালৈ আহাবৰ ওচৰলৈ নামি গ’ল৷ আহাবে তেওঁৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ লোকসকলৰ বাবে অনেক ভেড়া, ছাগলী আৰু গৰু মাৰিলে৷ আনকি আহাবে তেওঁৰ লগত ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দ আটক কৰিবলৈ তেওঁক ৰাজী কৰালে।
3 Ahab king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat king of Judah, “Will you go with me to Ramoth Gilead?” He answered him, “I am as you are, and my people as your people. We will be with you in the war.”
৩ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আহাব ৰজাই যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “আপুনি ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ মোৰ লগত যাব নে?” তাতে যিহোচাফতে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “আপুনি যেনে ময়ো তেনে আৰু মোৰ প্ৰজা যেনে আপোনাৰ প্ৰজাও তেনে; সেই যুদ্ধত আমি আপোনাৰ লগত উপস্থিত থাকিম।”
4 Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire first for the LORD’s word.”
৪যিহোচাফটে ইস্ৰায়েল ৰজাৰ আগত পুনৰ ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য কি, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁক সোধক৷”
5 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?” They said, “Go up, for God will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
৫তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই ভাববাদীসকলক অৰ্থাৎ চাৰিশ লোকক গোটাই তেওঁলোকক সুধিলে, “আমি ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ যাম নে, নে মই ক্ষান্ত হৈ থাকিম?” তাতে তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “যাওঁক, কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰে মহাৰাজৰ হাতত তাক সমৰ্পণ কৰিব।”
6 But Jehoshaphat said, “Is not there here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we may inquire of him?”
৬কিন্তু যিহোচাফটে ক’লে, “আমি উপদেশ বিচৰা অর্থে যিহোৱাৰ এনে কোনো ভাববাদী ইয়াত আছে নে?”
7 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla.” Jehoshaphat said, “Do not let the king say so.”
৭তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “আমি যাৰ দ্বাৰাই যিহোৱাক সুধিব পাৰোঁ, এনে এজন লোক আছে; কিন্তু মই তেওঁক ঘিণ কৰোঁ কিয়নো তেওঁ মোৰ বিষয়ে কেতিয়াও মঙ্গলৰ ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ নকৰে, সদায় কেৱল অমঙ্গলহে প্ৰচাৰ কৰে; তেওঁ যিম্লাৰ পুত্ৰ মীখায়া।” তেতিয়া যিহোচাফতে ক’লে, “মহাৰাজে যেন তেনে কথা নকওঁক।”
8 Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, “Get Micaiah the son of Imla quickly.”
৮তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই তেওঁৰ এজন নপুংসকক আজ্ঞা দি ক’লে, “যিম্লাৰ পুত্ৰ মীখায়াক বেগাই আনাগৈ।”
9 Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah each sat on his throne, arrayed in their robes, and they were sitting in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.
৯সেই সময়ত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আহাব আৰু যিহূদাৰ যিহোচাফট ৰজাই নিজ নিজ ৰাজবস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধি, চমৰিয়াৰ প্ৰবেশ স্থানৰ ওচৰৰ এখন মুকলি ঠাইত নিজ নিজ সিংহাসনত বহি আছিল আৰু আটাই ভাববাদীসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ আগত ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰি আছিল।
10 Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made himself horns of iron and said, “The LORD says, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians, until they are consumed.’”
১০কনানাৰ পুত্ৰ চিদিকিয়াই নিজৰ বাবে লোহাৰ শিং এযোৰ সাজি লৈ ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই আপুনি অৰামীয়াসকলক সংহাৰ নকৰালৈকে খুচি থাকিব।”
11 All the prophets prophesied so, saying, “Go up to Ramoth Gilead, and prosper; for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
১১তাতে আন সকলো ভাববাদীসকলেও সেই দৰে ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰি ক’লে, “আপুনি ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দ আক্ৰমণ কৰক, তাতে আপুনি জয়ী হ’ব কিয়নো যিহোৱাই তাক মহাৰাজৰ হাতত শোধাই দিলে।”
12 The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Let your word therefore, please be like one of theirs, and speak good.”
১২পাছত যি দূতজনে মীখায়াক মাতিবলৈ গৈছিল তেওঁ তেওঁক ক’লে, “চাওঁক, ভাববাদীসকলে একে মুখেৰে ৰজাৰ আগত মঙ্গলৰ কথা কৈছে, মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, আপোনাৰ বাক্যও তেওঁলোকৰ এজনৰ বাক্যৰ নিচিনা হওঁক; আপুনিও যেন মঙ্গলৰ বাক্য কয়৷”।
13 Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, I will say what my God says.”
১৩তেতিয়া মীখায়াই ক’লে, “যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, মোৰ ঈশ্বৰে মোক যি ক’ব, মই সেয়ে হে ক’ম।”
14 When he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?” He said, “Go up, and prosper. They shall be delivered into your hand.”
১৪যেতিয়া তেওঁ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল তেতিয়া ৰজাই তেওঁক সুধিলে, “হে মীখায়া, আমি যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ যাম নে? নে মই ক্ষান্ত হ’ম?” তাতে তেওঁ ক’লে, “যাওঁক, আৰু আপোনালোক জয়ী হওঁক! তেওঁলোকক আপোনালোকৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰা হ’ব।”
15 The king said to him, “How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the LORD’s name?”
১৫তেতিয়া ৰজাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে মোক কেৱল সত্য বাক্য ক’বলৈ, মই তোমাক কিমানবাৰ শপত খুৱাম?”
16 He said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. The LORD said, ‘These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.’”
১৬তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলক ৰখীয়া নোহোৱা মেৰৰ জাকৰ নিচিনাকৈ পৰ্বতবোৰৰ ওপৰত ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন হৈ থকা দেখিলোঁ আৰু যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘তেওঁলোকৰ গৰাকী নাই৷ প্ৰতি জনে নিজ নিজ ঘৰলৈ শান্তিৰে ঘূৰি যাওঁক’।”
17 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did not I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”
১৭তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “তেওঁ মোৰ বিষয়ে মঙ্গলৰ ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ নকৰি কেৱল অমঙ্গল হে প্ৰচাৰ কৰিব, সেই বিষয়ে জানো মই পূৰ্বেই আপোনাৰ আগত কোৱা নাই?”
18 Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the LORD’s word: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
১৮তাতে মীখায়াই ক’লে, “বাৰু, তোমালোক সকলোৱে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা: মই যিহোৱাক নিজ সিংহাসনত বহি থকা দেখিলোঁ আৰু তেওঁৰ সোঁফালে আৰু বাওঁফালে স্বৰ্গৰ সকলো বাহিনী থিয় হৈ আছিল।
19 The LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ One spoke saying in this way, and another saying in that way.
১৯তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আহাব ৰজা গৈ ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দত পতিত হ’বৰ কাৰণে কোনে তেওঁক প্ৰলোভিত কৰিব?’ তেতিয়া কোনোৱে এক ভাবে আৰু আন কোনোৱে আন ভাবে উত্তৰ দিলে।
20 A spirit came out, stood before the LORD, and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “The LORD said to him, ‘How?’
২০তেতিয়া এক আত্মাই আগলৈ ওলাই আহি যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে থিয় হৈ ক’লে, ‘মইয়ে তেওঁক প্ৰলোভিত কৰিম।’ তাতে যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘কেনেকৈ?’
21 “He said, ‘I will go, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ “He said, ‘You will entice him, and will prevail also. Go and do so.’
২১তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘মই গৈ তেওঁৰ আটাই ভাববাদীসকলৰ মুখত মিছা কওঁতা আত্মা হম।’ তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘হয়, তুমি তেওঁক প্ৰলোভিত কৰিবা আৰু কৃতকাৰ্য্যও হ’বা; এতিয়া ওলাই গৈ সেই দৰে কৰা।’
22 “Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets; and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.”
২২এই হেতুকে, চোৱা, যিহোৱাই তোমাৰ এই সকলো ভাববাদীসলৰ মুখত মিছা কওঁতা এক আত্মা দিলে আৰু যিহোৱাই তোমাৰ বিষয়ে অমঙ্গলৰ কথা ক’লে।
23 Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the LORD’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”
২৩তেতিয়া কনানাৰ পুত্ৰ চিদিকিয়াই মীখায়াৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি তেওঁৰ গালত চৰ মাৰি ক’লে, “তোমাৰ লগত কথা ক’বৰ কাৰণে যিহোৱাৰ আত্মা মোৰ পৰা কোন পথেদি গ’ল?”
24 Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day, when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”
২৪তাতে মীখায়াই ক’লে, “চোৱা, যি দিনা তুমি লুকাবৰ কাৰণে ভিতৰ কোঠালিলৈ সোমাই যাবা, সেই দিনাই সেই বিষয়ে জানিবা।”
25 The king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;
২৫পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই তেওঁৰ কিছুমান দাসক আজ্ঞা কৰিলে বোলে, “মীখায়াক ধৰি নগৰৰ অধ্যক্ষ অমোনৰ আৰু মোৰ পুত্ৰ ৰাজকোঁৱৰ যোৱাচৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ যোৱা৷
26 and say, ‘The king says, “Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.”’”
২৬আৰু ক’বা, ‘ৰজাই এইদৰে কৈছে, এই জন ব্যক্তিক বন্দীশালত বন্ধ কৰি থ’বা আৰু মই নিৰাপদে ঘূৰি নহালৈকে তেওঁক খাবৰ বাবে সামান্য অন্ন আৰু সামান্য জল দিবা’৷”
27 Micaiah said, “If you return at all in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me.” He said, “Listen, you people, all of you!”
২৭মীখায়াই ক’লে, “তুমি যদি নিৰাপদে ঘূৰি আহা, তেনেহ’লে যিহোৱাই মোৰ দ্ৱাৰাই এই বাক্য কোৱা নাই।” তেওঁ পুনৰ ক’লে, “এই বিষয়ে সকলোৱে শুনা।”
28 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead.
২৮তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আহাব আৰু যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোচাফটে ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠিল।
29 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself, and go into the battle; but you put on your robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went into the battle.
২৯ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “মই অন্য বেশ ধৰি যুদ্ধত যাম কিন্তু আপুনি হ’লে আপোনাৰ ৰাজ বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধি থাকক।” তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই অন্য বেশ ধৰিলে আৰু তেওঁলোক যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ গ’ল।
30 Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, “Do not fight with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel.”
৩০কিন্তু অৰামৰ ৰজাই তেওঁৰ ৰথৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলক এই আজ্ঞা দিছিল বোলে, তোমালোকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ সৰু কি বৰ আন কাৰোঁ লগত যুদ্ধ নকৰিবা। কেৱল ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক হে আটক কৰিবা৷
31 When the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “It is the king of Israel!” Therefore they turned around to fight against him. But Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
৩১এই হেতুকে ৰথৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলে যিহোচাফটক দেখি, “এৱেই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা”, এই বুলি, তেওঁৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ এফলীয়া হৈ গ’ল; তাতে যিহোচাফটে আটাহ পাৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে। তাতে যিহোৱাই তেওঁক সহায় কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা আঁতৰ হৈ যাবলৈ তেওঁলোকৰ মনত প্ৰবৃত্তি জন্মালে।
32 When the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.
৩২তেতিয়া ৰথৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলে তেওঁক ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা নহয় বুলি জানি, তেওঁৰ পাছত খেদি যাবলৈ এৰিলে।
33 A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of the chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.”
৩৩কিন্তু কোনো এজন লোকে তেওঁৰ ধনুৰ জোঁৰ টানি দৈবক্ৰমে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ কৱচ আৰু উদৰ-ৰক্ষাৰ জোৰতে কাড় মাৰিলে; তেতিয়া তেওঁ সাৰথিক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ হাত ঘূৰোৱা আৰু মোক এই সৈন্যৰ মাজৰ পৰা উলিয়াই লৈ যোৱা; কিয়নো মই বৰকৈ আহত হ’লো।
34 The battle increased that day. However, the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the evening; and at about sunset, he died.
৩৪সেই দিনা বৰ যুদ্ধ হ’ল আৰু গধূলি নহোৱালৈকে অৰামীয়াসকলৰ আগত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক ৰথত থিয়কৈ ৰখাই হ’ল; আৰু প্ৰায় সূৰ্য মাৰ যোৱা সময়ত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল।
