< 1 Thessalonians 5 >

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.
Mɔla yali n nua o yogu yeni a dana ke tie lan tieni tili ka,
2 For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.
kelima i bani ke o diedo yogu ba cua nani o suudi yeni u ñiagu.
3 For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.
U yogu cuon, b tɔba b maadi: li kuli tie pamanli yeni tin ye li guunlin.” ama u tienu fala b jiidi ti po nani ti madi n yi cuo o pua i, yeni bi kan ñaa leni palbi.
4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.
Ama n ninjaba, i ke ye li bonbonlin k li daali n te ba i po nani o suudi yen ka.
5 You are all children of light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night, nor to darkness,
Kelima i kuli tie mi yinyinma yeni li daali yabi. I ke tie o ñiagu yabi ke buali bonbonlin.
6 so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
Mɔla, da gɔa man nani bi tɔba yeni. Ama ya cengi mani.
7 For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.
Kelima, yabi n gɔa o ñiagu
8 But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
Nani tin tie u yienu bila yeni, ti baa ŋani, ke la li dandanli yeni m buanma, k ciibi ŋalbaga.
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Kelima u tienu ke lugdi'ti ke u mutuoli n ba ti po ka ama ti yonbidaano jesu buanma po.
10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
Ke kpe ti po, ke nua ti gɔgi, ti fuo yeni wani.
11 Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.
Mɔla, ya taagi ke gɔa ya todi mani i lieba nani yin ban maama yeni.
12 But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
Ti jaandi k yin ya bani ke cɔnlin bi cianbi yeni yabi n ŋmagdi u tienu tuonli.
13 and to respect and honor them in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
Ti miadi ke yin ya pia mi buanma bi po ke dugni tuona po. Ya ye mani li pamanli ni.
14 We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.
Ti pug'i, maadi mani yabi n fuo li ŋmadlin ya paandi yaab ye a maaban, ke todi talignba, ya jie man b nunbaogu.
15 See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.
Cuo mani iba ke nilo n da ŋmiandi biandma, ama ya ŋua mani yaali ŋani ŋmianma yua kuli kani.
16 Always rejoice.
Ya ye mani li pamanlin yogu kuli.
17 Pray without ceasing.
Ya jaandi mani ke da sedi.
18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
Ya tiendi mani baligi bonli kuli po, kelima u tienu bua yeni jesu po.
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
Da jundi mani mi tagma.
20 Do not despise prophecies.
Da yie mani mi dɔgdima.
21 Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.
Ama ya bigidi mani li kuli. Ŋɔdimani yaali n ŋani.
22 Abstain from every form of evil.
Yie mani bonbiili kuli.
23 May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mi yanduanma tienma n paag'i, ke i tagima, i nalimu yeni i gbannandi n ya ye o kani ke jeje ki ye hali ti diedo jesu cuanma.
24 He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.
Yua n yini ŋani, wani n gɔ bi tieni.
25 Brothers, pray for us.
N lieba, ya jaandi mani ti po.
26 Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.
Fuondi mani i lieba kuli ti ŋandin.
27 I solemnly command you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.
Yonbidaan po i ke nmaadi, ke bi numɔnba kuli n cogi li tili ne.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Ke ti diedo jesu baliga n ya ye yeni
