< 1 Samuel 9 >

1 Now there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Becorath, the son of Aphiah, the son of a Benjamite, a mighty man of valor.
Kati na ekolo ya Benjame, ezalaki na moto moko ya bozwi; kombo na ye ezalaki « Kishi, » mwana mobali ya Abieli, mwana mobali ya Tserori, mwana mobali ya Bekorati, mwana mobali ya Afia, moto ya ekolo ya Benjame.
2 He had a son whose name was Saul, an impressive young man; and there was not among the children of Israel a more handsome person than he. From his shoulders and upward he was taller than any of the people.
Azalaki na mwana mobali; kombo na ye ezalaki « Saulo. » Azalaki elenge mobali moko ya kitoko; mpe kati na mibali nyonso ya Isalaele, moko te akokanaki na ye na kitoko; azalaki mbinga koleka bango nyonso.
3 The donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. Kish said to Saul his son, “Now take one of the servants with you, and arise, go look for the donkeys.”
Mokolo moko, ba-ane ya tata na ye, Kishi, ebungaki; mpe Kishi alobaki na mwana na ye, Saulo: « Kamata mosali moko ya mobali kati na basali mpo ete akende elongo na yo koluka ba-ane. »
4 He passed through the hill country of Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalishah, but they did not find them. Then they passed through the land of Shaalim, and they were not there. Then he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they did not find them.
Boye, Saulo akatisaki etuka ya bangomba ya Efrayimi mpe etando ya Shalisha; kasi bamonaki yango te. Bakotaki na etuka ya Shalimi, kasi ba-ane ezalaki kuna te; bakomaki kino na etuka ya Benjame, kasi bamonaki yango kaka te.
5 When they had come to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his servant who was with him, “Come! Let’s return, lest my father stop caring about the donkeys and be anxious for us.”
Tango bakomaki na mokili ya Tsufi, Saulo alobaki na mosali oyo azalaki elongo na ye: — Yaka, tozonga; noki te tata na ngai akotika kokanisa ba-ane, kasi akokoma komitungisa mpo na biso.
6 The servant said to him, “Behold now, there is a man of God in this city, and he is a man who is held in honor. All that he says surely happens. Now let’s go there. Perhaps he can tell us which way to go.”
Mosali azongisaki: — Zela moke! Kati na engumba wana, ezali na moto moko ya Nzambe; azali penza moto ya lokumu; makambo nyonso oyo ye alobaka, ezangaka te kokokisama. Tokende kuna sik’oyo, tango mosusu akolakisa biso nzela oyo tosengeli kolanda.
7 Then Saul said to his servant, “But behold, if we go, what should we bring the man? For the bread is spent in our sacks, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”
Saulo alobaki na mosali na ye: — Likambo te! Tokende epai na ye! Kasi tokopesa eloko nini epai ya moto na Nzambe? Pamba te kati na libenga na biso, biloko ya kolia ezali lisusu te; tozali ata na kado te ya kopesa epai ya moto na Nzambe. Tozali na eloko nini?
8 The servant answered Saul again and said, “Behold, I have in my hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver. I will give that to the man of God, to tell us our way.”
Mosali azongiselaki Saulo: — Tala, nazali na mbongo moko ya palata; nakopesa yango epai ya moto na Nzambe, mpe akolakisa biso nzela oyo tosengeli kolanda.
9 (In earlier times in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come! Let’s go to the seer;” for he who is now called a prophet was before called a seer.)
Na tango ya kala, kati na Isalaele, moto oyo azalaki kokende kotuna toli ya Nzambe azalaki koloba: « Tokende epai ya moto oyo azwaka bimoniseli. » Pamba te moto oyo bazali kobenga lelo « mosakoli, » bazalaki kobenga ye na kala « moto oyo azwaka bimoniseli. »
10 Then Saul said to his servant, “Well said. Come! Let’s go.” So they went to the city where the man of God was.
Saulo alobaki na mosali na ye: — Malamu! Tokende! Boye, bakendeki na engumba epai wapi moto na Nzambe azalaki kovanda.
11 As they went up the ascent to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said to them, “Is the seer here?”
Wana bazalaki komata ngomba oyo ekenda na engumba, bakutanaki na bana basi oyo bazalaki kobima mpo na koluka mayi. Batunaki bango: — Boni, ezalaka awa na moto oyo azwaka bimoniseli?
12 They answered them and said, “He is. Behold, he is before you. Hurry now, for he has come today into the city; for the people have a sacrifice today in the high place.
Bazongiselaki ye: — Iyo! Azali liboso na bino. Kasi bosala noki; awuti kokoma kaka sik’oyo kati na engumba na biso, pamba te bato bakobonza lelo mbeka, na esambelo ya likolo ya ngomba.
13 As soon as you have come into the city, you will immediately find him before he goes up to the high place to eat; for the people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice. Afterwards those who are invited eat. Now therefore go up; for at this time you will find him.”
Soki kaka bokoti na engumba, bomona ye mbala moko, liboso ete amata na esambelo ya likolo ya ngomba mpo na kolia; pamba te bato bakoki kobanda kolia te soki ye akomi nanu te: asengeli nanu kopambola mbeka liboso ete bato oyo babengami babanda kolia. Bomata sik’oyo, mpe bokomona ye na ngonga oyo.
14 They went up to the city. As they came within the city, behold, Samuel came out toward them to go up to the high place.
Boye bakendeki na engumba; mpe wana bazalaki kokota kati na yango, Samuele abimaki liboso na bango tango azalaki kokende na esambelo ya likolo ya ngomba.
15 Now the LORD had revealed to Samuel a day before Saul came, saying,
Nzokande, mokolo moko liboso ete Saulo akoma, Yawe amonisaki likambo yango epai ya Samuele.
16 “Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man out of the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him to be prince over my people Israel. He will save my people out of the hand of the Philistines; for I have looked upon my people, because their cry has come to me.”
Alobaki na ye: « Lobi, na ngonga oyo, nakotindela yo mobali moko kowuta na etando ya Benjame; okopakola ye mafuta mpo ete azala mokambi ya bato na Ngai, Isalaele. Akokangola bato na Ngai na maboko ya bato ya Filisitia, pamba te namoni pasi ya bato na Ngai, mpe koganga na bango ekomaki kino epai na Ngai. »
17 When Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said to him, “Behold, the man of whom I spoke to you! He will have authority over my people.”
Tango Samuele amonaki Saulo na mosika, Yawe alobaki na ye: « Tala moto oyo nalobelaki yo; ye nde akokonza bato na Ngai. »
18 Then Saul approached Samuel in the gateway, and said, “Please tell me where the seer’s house is.”
Saulo apusanaki pembeni ya Samuele, na ekuke ya engumba, mpe atunaki ye: — Nabondeli yo, okoki kolakisa ngai ndako ya moto oyo azwaka bimoniseli?
19 Samuel answered Saul and said, “I am the seer. Go up before me to the high place, for you are to eat with me today. In the morning I will let you go and will tell you all that is in your heart.
Samuele azongiselaki Saulo: — Ngai oyo moto oyo azwaka bimoniseli. Kende liboso na ngai, na esambelo ya likolo ya ngomba; pamba te, lelo, okolia elongo na ngai. Bongo lobi na tongo, nakotika yo kozonga, mpe nakoyebisa yo makambo nyonso oyo ezali kati na motema na yo.
20 As for your donkeys who were lost three days ago, do not set your mind on them, for they have been found. For whom does all Israel desire? Is it not you and all your father’s house?”
Komitungisa na yo te na tina na ba-ane na yo, oyo ebungaki wuta mikolo misato, pamba te esili komonana. Bongo nani nkolo biloko nyonso ya motuya oyo ezali kati na Isalaele? Ezali biloko na yo mpe libota mobimba ya tata na yo.
21 Saul answered, “Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? And my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak to me like this?”
Saulo azongisaki: — Ngai nazali moto ya ekolo ya Benjame, ekolo oyo eleki moke kati na bikolo ya Isalaele. Etuka na ngai eleki moke kati na bituka nyonso ya ekolo ya Benjame. Boye mpo na nini ozali koloba na ngai na lolenge oyo?
22 Samuel took Saul and his servant and brought them into the guest room, and made them sit in the best place among those who were invited, who were about thirty persons.
Samuele amemaki Saulo elongo na mosali na ye, akotisaki bango na esika ya feti mpe avandisaki bango liboso ya babengami: bazalaki bato pene tuku misato.
23 Samuel said to the cook, “Bring the portion which I gave you, of which I said to you, ‘Set it aside.’”
Samuele alobaki na moto oyo azalaki kolamba: « Yaka na ndambo ya biloko oyo nayebisaki yo ete otia yango pembeni. »
24 The cook took up the thigh, and that which was on it, and set it before Saul. Samuel said, “Behold, that which has been reserved! Set it before yourself and eat; because it has been kept for you for the appointed time, for I said, ‘I have invited the people.’” So Saul ate with Samuel that day.
Moto oyo azalaki kolamba azwaki mopende mpe nyonso oyo ekangani na yango, mpe atiaki yango liboso ya Saulo. Samuele alobaki na Saulo: « Tala ndambo ya biloko oyo babombelaki yo. Lia yango, pamba te babombelaki yo yango wuta tango nabengisaki bato. » Boye, na mokolo wana, Saulo aliaki elongo na Samuele.
25 When they had come down from the high place into the city, he talked with Saul on the housetop.
Bongo balongwaki nzela moko na esambelo ya likolo ya ngomba mpo na kokita na engumba, mpe Samuele asololaki na Saulo, na veranda ya ndako na ye.
26 They arose early; and about daybreak, Samuel called to Saul on the housetop, saying, “Get up, that I may send you away.” Saul arose, and they both went outside, he and Samuel, together.
Na tongo-tongo ya mokolo oyo elandaki, balamukaki. Samuele abengaki Saulo na veranda mpe alobaki na ye: « Bongama, nazali kokende kotika yo na nzela na yo. » Sima na Saulo kobongama, abimaki libanda nzela moko na Samuele.
27 As they were going down at the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, “Tell the servant to go on ahead of us.” He went ahead, then Samuel said, “But stand still first, that I may cause you to hear God’s message.”
Wana bazalaki kokende mpe bakomaki na mondelo ya engumba, Samuele alobaki na Saulo: « Loba na mosali na yo ete aleka liboso na biso. » Boye mosali alekaki liboso, mpe Samuele alobaki lisusu na Saulo: « Telema awa sik’oyo mpo ete napesa yo sango oyo ewuti epai ya Nzambe. »
