1 Samuel 22
1 David therefore departed from there and escaped to Adullam’s cave. When his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him.
১তাৰ পাছত দায়ূদে সেই ঠাই এৰিলে আৰু অদুল্লম নামেৰে এটা গুহাত আশ্ৰয় ল’লে; যেতিয়া তেওঁৰ ককায়েকসকলে আৰু পিতৃ-বংশৰ লোকসকলে এইকথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোক তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল।
2 Everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered themselves to him; and he became captain over them. There were with him about four hundred men.
২প্ৰতিজন দুখ পোৱা ব্যক্তি, প্ৰতিজন ধৰুৱা ব্যক্তি আৰু প্ৰতিজন বেজাৰত থকা ব্যক্তি তেওঁৰ ওচৰত গোট খালে। তাতে দায়ুদ তেওঁলোকৰ অধিপতি হ’ল; এই দৰে প্ৰায় চাৰি শ লোক তেওঁৰ সঙ্গী হ’ল।
3 David went from there to Mizpeh of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out to you, until I know what God will do for me.”
৩দায়ূদে তাৰ পৰা মোৱাবৰ মিস্পালৈ গ’ল। তেওঁ মোৱাবৰ ৰজাক ক’লে, “বিনয় কৰোঁ, ঈশ্বৰে মোলৈ কি কৰিব, তাক জ্ঞাত নহওঁমানে, মোৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃক আপোনাৰ লগত থাকিবলৈ দিয়ক।”
4 He brought them before the king of Moab; and they lived with him all the time that David was in the stronghold.
৪তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক মোৱাবৰ ৰজাৰ লগত ৰাখিলে, আৰু যেতিয়ালৈকে দায়ুদ তেওঁৰ দুৰ্গত থাকিল, তেতিয়ালৈকে তেওঁলোক ৰজাৰ লগত থাকিল।
5 The prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold. Depart, and go into the land of Judah.” Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hereth.
৫পাছে গাদ ভাববাদীয়ে দায়ূদক ক’লে, “তুমি তোমাৰ দুৰ্গত নাথাকিবা, এই ঠাই ত্যাগ কৰি যিহূদা দেশলৈ যোৱা।” সেয়ে দায়ূদে সেই ঠাই ত্যাগ কৰি হেৰৎ অৰণ্যলৈ গ’ল।
6 Saul heard that David was discovered, with the men who were with him. Now Saul was sitting in Gibeah, under the tamarisk tree in Ramah, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing around him.
৬চৌলে শুনিলে যে, দায়ূদক তেওঁৰ লগৰ লোকসকলৰ সৈতে পোৱা গ’ল। সেই সময়ত চৌলে হাতত যাঠি লৈ গিবিয়াত ঝাওঁ গছৰ তলত বহি আছিল, আৰু তেওঁৰ চাৰিওফালে তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰ থিয় হৈ আছিল।
7 Saul said to his servants who stood around him, “Hear now, you Benjamites! Will the son of Jesse give everyone of you fields and vineyards? Will he make you all captains of thousands and captains of hundreds?
৭তাতে চৌলে চাৰিওফালে থিয় হৈ থকা তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰক ক’লে, “বিন্যামীনৰ লোকসকল শুনা! যিচয়ৰ পুত্ৰই তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিজনকে শস্যক্ষেত্ৰ আৰু দ্ৰাক্ষাবাৰী দিব নে? আৰু তোমালোক সকলোকে সহস্ৰপতি ও শতপতিৰ পাতিব নে?
8 Is that why all of you have conspired against me, and there is no one who discloses to me when my son makes a treaty with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you who is sorry for me, or discloses to me that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as it is today?”
৮তাৰ পৰিবৰ্তে তোমালোক সকলোৱে মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে চক্ৰান্ত কৰিছাহঁক, যেতিয়া মোৰ পুত্ৰৰ সৈতে যিচয়ৰ পুত্ৰই চুক্তি কৰিছিল তেতিয়া কোনেও মোৰ আগত এই কথা প্ৰকাশ কৰা নাছিল। মোৰ পুত্ৰক মোৰ দাস দায়ূদে মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উদগোৱাৰ কথা জানি আৰু আজিৰ দৰে খাপ দি লুকাই থকা কথা জানিও তোমালোক কোনেও মোৰ কাৰণে দুখিত হোৱা নাই।”
9 Then Doeg the Edomite, who stood by the servants of Saul, answered and said, “I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.
৯তাৰ পাছত চৌলৰ দাসবোৰৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ থকা ইদোমীয়া দোৱেগে উত্তৰ দিলে, “মই নোবত যিচয়ৰ পুত্ৰক অহীটুবৰ পুত্ৰ অহীমেলকৰ ওচৰলৈ অহা দেখিছিলোঁ।”
10 He inquired of the LORD for him, gave him food, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.”
১০অহীমেলকে যিহোৱাৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে যাতে তেওঁক সহায় কৰে, আৰু তেওঁ তেওঁক যোগান ধৰিলে, আৰু পলেষ্টীয়া গলিয়াথৰ তৰোৱালো তেওঁক দিলে।
11 Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father’s house, the priests who were in Nob; and they all came to the king.
১১তাৰ পাছত ৰজাই মানুহ পঠাই অহীটুবৰ পুত্ৰ অহীমেলক পুৰোহিতক আৰু তেওঁৰ পিতৃ-বংশক, অৰ্থাৎ নোবত থকা পুৰোহিতসকলক মতি পঠালে। তেওঁলোক সকলোৱেই ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল,
12 Saul said, “Hear now, you son of Ahitub.” He answered, “Here I am, my lord.”
১২চৌলে ক’লে, “অহীটুবৰ পুত্ৰ শুনা।” তেওঁ উত্তৰ দিলে, “প্ৰভু, মই ইয়াতে আছোঁ।”
13 Saul said to him, “Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as it is today?”
১৩চৌলে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি আৰু যিচয়ৰ পুত্ৰ মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কিয় চক্ৰান্ত কৰিছা, যাৰ বাবে তুমি তেওঁক পিঠা আৰু তৰোৱাল দিছা, আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰত তেওঁৰ সহায়ৰ কাৰণে প্ৰার্থনা কৰিছা, যাতে তেওঁ মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠে, আজি লুকাই থকাৰ দৰেই তেওঁ গোপন ঠাইত আছিল।
14 Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, “Who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king’s son-in-law, captain of your body guard, and honored in your house?
১৪তাৰ পাছত অহীমেলকে ৰজাক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰৰ মাজত দায়ূদৰ দৰে বিশ্বাসী কোন? যিজন ৰজাৰ জোঁৱাই, আৰু আপোনাৰ দেহৰক্ষী, আপোনাৰ গৃহৰ এজন সন্মানীয় লোক।”
15 Have I today begun to inquire of God for him? Be it far from me! Do not let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for your servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.”
১৫আজি প্ৰথমবাৰ মই তেওঁৰ কাৰণে ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিছোঁ নেকি? সেয়ে মোৰ পৰা দূৰ হওক! মহাৰাজ, আপোনাৰ এই দাসক আৰু মোৰ সকলো পিতৃ-বংশক দোষ নিদিব; কিয়নো আপোনাৰ দাসে এই বিষয়ে কোনো কথাই গম পোৱা নাছিল।”
16 The king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s house.”
১৬ৰজাই উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “অহীমেলক, তুমি আৰু তোমাৰ পিতৃ-বংশ সকলোৰে নিশ্চয় মৃত্যু হ’ব।”
17 The king said to the guard who stood about him, “Turn and kill the priests of the LORD, because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled and did not disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king would not put out their hand to fall on the priests of the LORD.
১৭ৰজাই তেওঁৰ চাৰিও ফালে থকা ৰখীয়া সকলক ক’লে, “তহঁতে ঘূৰি গৈ যিহোৱাৰ পুৰোহিত সকলক বধ কৰ। কাৰণ তেওঁলোকো দায়ূদৰ সহায়কাৰী, আৰু তেওঁ পলোৱাৰ কথা তেওঁলোকে জানিও মোক নজনালে।” কিন্তু যিহোৱাৰ পুৰোহিতসকলক আক্ৰমণ কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে ৰজাৰ দাসবোৰ সন্মত নহ’ল।
18 The king said to Doeg, “Turn and attack the priests!” Doeg the Edomite turned, and he attacked the priests, and he killed on that day eighty-five people who wore a linen ephod.
১৮তাৰ পাছত ৰজাই দোৱেগক ক’লে, “ঘূৰি গৈ পুৰোহিতসকলক বধ কৰা।” সেয়ে ইদোমীয়া দোৱেগে পুৰোহিতসকলক আক্ৰমণ কৰি সেই দিনা শণ সূতাৰ এফোদ বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধা পঁচাশী জনক বধ কৰিলে।
19 He struck Nob, the city of the priests, with the edge of the sword—both men and women, children and nursing babies, and cattle, donkeys, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.
১৯তেওঁ তৰোৱালৰ ধাৰেৰে পুৰোহিতসকলৰ নোব নগৰ আঘাত কৰি, পুৰুষ, তিৰোতা, ল’ৰা, আৰু পিয়াহ খোৱা কেঁচুৱা, আৰু গৰু, গাধ, মেৰ-ছাগ আদি সকলোকে তৰোৱালৰ ধাৰেৰে সংহাৰ কৰিলে।
20 One of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped and fled after David.
২০সেই সময়ত অহীটুবৰ পুত্ৰ অহীমেলকৰ এজন পুত্ৰ কেৱল ৰক্ষা পৰিল; তেওঁৰ নাম অবিয়াথৰ; তেওঁ দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ পলাই গ’ল।
21 Abiathar told David that Saul had slain the LORD’s priests.
২১চৌলে যিহোৱাৰ পুৰোহিতসকলক বধ কৰা কথা অবিয়াথৰে দায়ূদক ক’লে,
22 David said to Abiathar, “I knew on that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul. I am responsible for the death of all the persons of your father’s house.
২২তাতে দায়ূদে অবিয়াথৰক ক’লে, “ইদোমীয়া দোৱেগ সেই ঠাইত থকাতে মই সেই দিনা বুজিছিলোঁ, যে, সি অৱশ্যে চৌলক সম্বাদ দিব; ময়েই তোমাৰ পিতৃ-বংশৰ সকলো ব্যক্তিৰ বধৰ কাৰণ হ’লো।
23 Stay with me. Do not be afraid, for he who seeks my life seeks your life. You will be safe with me.”
২৩তুমি মোৰ লগত থাকা, ভয় নকৰিবা; কিয়নো যি জনে মোৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিলে সেই জনে তোমাৰো কৰিব। কাৰণ মোৰ লগত তুমি নিৰ্ভয়ে থাকিবা।
