1 Kings 5
1 Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon, for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the place of his father, and Hiram had always loved David.
၁ရှောလမုန် ကို ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ ဘိသိက် ပေး ကြောင်း ကို တုရု မင်းကြီး ဟိရံ သည် ကြား လျှင် ၊ ဒါဝိဒ် နှင့် အစဉ် မိတ်ဆွေ ဖွဲ့သောသူဖြစ်၍ ၊ မိမိ ကျွန် တို့ကို စေလွှတ် လေ၏။
2 Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,
၂တဖန် ရှောလမုန် သည်လည်း၊ ဟိရံ ထံသို့ စေလွှတ် လျက်၊
3 “You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of the LORD his God because of the wars which were around him on every side, until the LORD put his enemies under the soles of his feet.
၃ငါ့ အဘ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် အရပ်ရပ်၌ စစ်တိုက် ရ သောကြောင့် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ရန်သူတို့ကို အဘခြေဘဝါး တော်အောက် သို့ နှိမ့်ချ တော်မမူမှီတိုင်အောင် ၊ မိမိ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နာမ တော်အဘို့ အိမ် တော်ကို မ တည် မဆောက်ရဟု မင်းကြီးသိ ၏။
4 But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side. There is no enemy and no evil occurrence.
၄ယခု မူကား ၊ ငါ ၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အရပ်ရပ် ၌ ငြိမ်ဝပ် မည်အကြောင်းစီရင်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ရန်ဘက် ပြုသောသူ၊ ဆီးတား သောသူ မ ရှိသည် ဖြစ်၍၊
5 Behold, I intend to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, ‘Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place shall build the house for my name.’
၅ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ငါ့ အဘ ဒါဝိဒ် အား သင့် ကိုယ်စား သင် ၏ရာဇ ပလ္လင်ပေါ် မှာ ငါတင် သော သင် ၏ သား သည် ငါ့ နာမ အဘို့ အိမ် ကို တည်ဆောက် ရမည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ငါ ၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နာမ တော်အဘို့ အိမ် တော်ကို တည်ဆောက် မည်ဟု ငါ အကြံ ရှိ၏။
6 Now therefore command that cedar trees be cut for me out of Lebanon. My servants will be with your servants; and I will give you wages for your servants according to all that you say. For you know that there is nobody among us who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians.”
၆မင်းကြီး၏ ကျွန်တို့သည် ငါ့ အဘို့ လေဗနုန် တောင်ပေါ် မှာ အာရဇ် ပင်တို့ကို ခုတ်လှဲ စေခြင်းငှါ စီရင် ပါ။ ငါ့ ကျွန် တို့သည် မင်းကြီး ကျွန် တို့နှင့် ဝိုင်း၍ လုပ်ကိုင် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ မင်းကြီးစီရင် သည်အတိုင်း ၊ မင်းကြီး ၏ ကျွန် တို့အား အခ ကိုပေး ပါမည်။ ဇိဒုန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် သစ် ခုတ် တတ် သကဲ့သို့ ငါ တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ မျှမခုတ်တတ် သည်ကို မင်းကြီး သိ သည်ဟု မှာလိုက်လေ၏။
7 When Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly, and said, “Blessed is the LORD today, who has given to David a wise son to rule over this great people.”
၇ရှောလမုန် မင်း၏စကား ကို ဟိရံ မင်းသည် ကြား လျှင် အလွန် ဝမ်းမြောက် ၍ ၊ ထို လူမျိုး ကြီး ကို အစိုးရသောသား ကို ဒါဝိဒ် အား ပေး တော်မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ယနေ့ မင်္ဂလာ ရှိတော်မူစေသတည်းဟု ဆို လျက်၊
8 Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, “I have heard the message which you have sent to me. I will do all your desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning cypress timber.
၈မင်းကြီးမှာ လိုက်သော အမှု ကို ငါဆင်ခြင် ပြီ။ အာရဇ် သစ်သား ၊ ထင်ရူး သစ်သား လို သမျှ ကို ပေး ပါမည်။
9 My servants will bring them down from Lebanon to the sea. I will make them into rafts to go by sea to the place that you specify to me, and will cause them to be broken up there, and you will receive them. You will accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.”
၉ငါ့ ကျွန် တို့သည် လေဗနုန် တောင်မှ ပင်လယ် သို့ ချ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ဘောင် လုပ်၍ မင်းကြီးစီရင် သော အရပ် သို့ ပင်လယ် လမ်းဖြင့် ဆောင် ခဲ့၍ ၊ ထို အရပ်၌အပ် သဖြင့် မင်းကြီး ခံယူ ရမည်။ မင်းကြီး သည်လည်း ၊ ငါ ၏နန်းတော် သားစားစရာ ရိက္ခါကိုပေး ၍ ငါ့ အလို ကိုလည်း ပြည့်စုံ စေရမည်ဟု ရှောလမုန် ထံသို့ လူကိုစေလွှတ် ၍ ပြန်ပြော ၏။
10 So Hiram gave Solomon cedar timber and cypress timber according to all his desire.
၁၀ထိုသို့ ဟိရံ သည် ရှောလမုန် အလို ရှိသမျှ သော အာရဇ် သစ်သား ၊ ထင်းရူး သစ်သား ကိုပေး ၏။
11 Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat for food to his household, and twenty cors of pure oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year.
၁၁ရှောလမုန် သည်လည်း ၊ ဟိရံ ၏နန်းတော် သား များ စားစရာ ဘို့ တနှစ် တနှစ်လျှင် ဂျုံ ဆန်ကောရ နှစ် သောင်း၊ စစ် ပြီးသော ဆီ ကောရ နှစ် ဆယ်ကိုပေး ၏။
12 The LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him. There was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty together.
၁၂ထာဝရဘုရား သည်လည်း ၊ ဂတိ တော်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း ၊ ရှောလမုန် အား ပညာ ကိုပေး တော်မူ၏။ ဟိရံ မင်းနှင့် ရှောလမုန် မင်းနှစ် ပါးတို့သည် စစ်တိုက် ခြင်း မရှိ။ မိဿဟာယ ဖွဲ့ ကြ၏။
13 King Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.
၁၃ရှောလမုန် မင်းကြီး သည်လည်း ၊ ဣသရေလ လူ အပေါင်း တို့တွင် လူ သုံး သောင်းတို့ကို ခွဲခန့် ၍၊
14 He sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: for a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home; and Adoniram was over the men subject to forced labor.
၁၄အလှည့် အလှည့်တလ လျှင်တသောင်း စီ၊ လေဗနုန် တောင်သို့ စေလွှတ် သဖြင့် ၊ ထိုလူတို့သည် လေဗနုန် တောင် ပေါ် မှာတလ ၊ ကိုယ် နေရာ အရပ်၌ နှစ် လ နေ ရကြ၏။ ထိုလူ တို့ကို အဒေါနိရံ အုပ်ရ၏။
15 Solomon had seventy thousand who bore burdens, and eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains,
၁၅ထမ်းရွက် သောသူခုနစ် သောင်း၊ တောင်ရိုး ပေါ် မှာ သစ်ခုတ် သောသူရှစ် သောင်းတို့ကိုလည်း စေခိုင်းတော်မူ ၍၊
16 besides Solomon’s chief officers who were over the work: three thousand three hundred who ruled over the people who labored in the work.
၁၆အုပ်ချုပ် သောမင်း အရာရှိမှတပါး လုပ်ဆောင် သောသူတို့ ကို စီရင် သောသူ သုံး ထောင် သုံး ရာ ရှိ၏။
17 The king commanded, and they cut out large stones, costly stones, to lay the foundation of the house with worked stone.
၁၇ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ အမိန့် တော်အတိုင်း အိမ် တော် တိုက်မြစ် အဘို့ ကြီး သောကျောက် ၊ အဘိုး ထိုက်သော ကျောက် ၊ ဆစ် ပြီးသောကျောက် တို့ကို ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြ၏။
18 Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and the Gebalites cut them, and prepared the timber and the stones to build the house.
၁၈ထိုသို့ ရှောလမုန် မင်း၏ လက်သမား တို့နှင့် ဟိရံ မင်း၏လက်သမား တို့သည် ဂေဗာလ အမျိုးသားတို့ နှင့်တကွ ၊ အိမ် တော်ကို တည်ဆောက် စရာဘို့ သစ်သား များ၊ ကျောက် များတို့ကို ပြင်ဆင် ကြ၏။
