1 Corinthians 9
1 Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have not I seen Jesus Christ, our Lord? Are not you my work in the Lord?
Wu, nene lepi na mundu mwanilekekekiswi? Wu, nene namtumi lepi? Wu, nene namuweni lepi Yesu BAMBU witu? Wu, nyenye lepi mwenivapatili ndava ya lihengu langu kwa BAMBU?
2 If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
Hati ngati vandu vangi vibela kuvya nene mtumi lepi, nambu nyenye muyidikila kuvya nene mtumi, nyenye ndi ulangisu wa nene kuvya mtumu, ndava ya kuwungana kwinu na BAMBU.
3 My defense to those who examine me is this:
Vandu pavakunitakila nikujikengelela naha,
4 Have we no right to eat and to drink?
ndi, tiganikiwa lepi kupokela chakulya na mnyweso ndava ya lihengu langu?
5 Have we no right to take along a wife who is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
Wu, tete nakuganikiwa kuvya mulugendu na vadala vitu vasadika, ngati chevikita vamitumi vangi, valongo va BAMBU, na mewa Kefa?
6 Or have only Barnabas and I no right to not work?
Amala nene ndu na Banaba ndi mwatiganikiwa kupewa njombi yitu kwa kukita lihengu?
7 What soldier ever serves at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard, and does not eat of its fruit? Or who feeds a flock, and does not drink from the flock’s milk?
Wu, manjolinjoli yoki mwailipila lihengu laki kwa ihenga? Wu, mlimaji yoki mwangalya matunda ga mgunda waki wa mzabibu? Wu, mdimaji yoki mwanganywa mavele ga mifuya yaki?
8 Do I speak these things according to the ways of men? Or does not the law also say the same thing?
Wu, nijova mambu aga chimundu? Wu, malagizu nakujova mewawa naha?
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it for the oxen that God cares,
Yiyandikwi Mumalagizu ga Musa, “Koto kuyikunga ng'ombi mlomo payibena nganu.” Wu, ndi tijovayi Chapanga ihengela ng'ombi?
10 or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should partake of his hope.
Wu, Chapanga ijova lepi genaga neju ndava yitu? Genaga gayandikiwi ndava yitu, mundu peilima na yula mwaibena, voha vavili viganikiwa kuhenga lihengu lenilo kwa kuhuvalila kupata pahala pa mabenu.
11 If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?
Yikavya tete tapandili mbeyu ya chimpungu pagati yinu, wu, yati livya lijambu livaha tikapatayi chiyonjokesu kuhuma kwinu?
12 If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right, but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the Good News of Christ.
Yikavya vandu vangi viganikiwa kupata vindu kuhuma kwinu, wu, tete tiganikiwa lepi kuliku venavo? Nambu tete tahuvalili lepi haki yeniyo. Pahala paki, tisindamili kila chindu muni tikotoka kulibelelela Lilovi la Bwina la Kilisitu na kuvakokosela vandu.
13 Do not you know that those who serve around sacred things eat from the things of the temple, and those who wait on the altar have their portion with the altar?
Wu, mmanyi lepi kuvya vevihenga Munyumba ya Chapanga vipewa chakulya chavi Munyumba ya Chapanga, na vevivika pa lusanja lwa luteta vipewa pahala pavi pa lusanja lwa luteta lwenulo.
14 Even so the Lord ordained that those who proclaim the Good News should live from the Good News.
Mewawa BAMBU alagizi, vevikokosa Lilovi la Bwina vapewa chakulya chavi mulihengu lenilo.
15 But I have used none of these things, and I do not write these things that it may be done so in my case; for I would rather die, than that anyone should make my boasting void.
Nambu, nahengili lepi hati chindu chimonga chechiganikiwa. Na niyandika lepi aga kwa huvalila ya mukunihengela mambu ago, kwa nene mbanga kufwa kuliku mundu yoyoha awonayi kuvya nikujilumbalila waka.
16 For if I preach the Good News, I have nothing to boast about, for necessity is laid on me; but woe is to me if I do not preach the Good News.
Nene nimeka lepi ndava ya kukokosa Lilovi la Bwina, lenili ndi lihengu lenilagizwi kulihenga. Hinu nijiyangalila ngati nikokokosa lepi Lilovi la Bwina!
17 For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward. But if not of my own will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.
Nganihagwili lihengu lenili kwa kugana kwangu, nganiholalili kupewa luhuna, nambu muni nikita ndava ya lihengu lanipewili.
18 What then is my reward? That when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News of Christ without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.
Luhuna lwangu ndi chindu choki? Hinu luhuna lwangu ndi kukokosa Lilovi la Bwina waka. Changali kudayi vindu vyeniganikiwa kwa kukokosa Lilovi la Bwina.
19 For though I was free from all, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.
Nene mvanda lepi wa mundu yoyoha, nijikitili mvanda wa vandu voha muni nimpelayi Kilisitu vandu vamahele.
20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;
Kwa Vayawudi natamili ngati Myawudi muni nivapatayi Vayawudi vamsadika Yesu, pamonga nene nivii pahi ya malagizu ga Musa, ndi nivapatayi vevavili pahi ya malagizu.
21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law.
Na kwa vala vevavi kutali na malagizu ga Musa, nitama ngati vene, muni niyva ngati vene vevavi kuvala ya malagizu. Lepi kujova nivili kuvala na malagizu ga Chapanga, muni nihinyiwi na malagizu ga Kilisitu.
22 To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.
Penavi vangolongondi navili ngati vene muni nivapatayi vangolongondi. Nakitili kila chindu kwa vandu voha muni nivasangulayi pagati yavi mukila njila.
23 Now I do this for the sake of the Good News, that I may be a joint partaker of it.
Nikita aga goha kwa ndava ya Lilovi la Bwina, nipatayi mota zaki.
24 Do not you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, so that you may win.
Wu, mmanyili lepi paluvanja lwa mikinu, pamonga na vevijumba voha vijumba, ndi mmonga ndu mwaitola njombi, hinu na nyenye mjumbayi namuna yiyoyo.
25 Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
Vevijumba vikita mazowezi na adabu, vikita chenicho muni vapewa njingwa yangahalabika! Nambu tete tikita naha tipatayi njingwa yangahalabika.
26 I therefore run like that, not aimlessly. I fight like that, not beating the air,
Ndi, chanijumba ndi nigana kuhotola, ndi chanikomana, lepi mtovanaji ngati mundu mweitova pawaka.
27 but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
Nambu nikuying'aha higa yangu muni nihotola kutalalila muni penimali kuvakokosela vangi, nene mwene nikotoka kubelelewa.
