1 Chronicles 27

1 Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.

১এই হল ইস্রায়েলীয় বংশের নেতা, হাজার ও শত সৈন্যের সেনাপতি ও তাঁদের অধীন কর্মচারীদের তালিকা। এঁরা বিভিন্ন সৈন্যদলের সমস্ত বিষয়ে রাজাকে সাহায্য করতেন। বারোটি দলের প্রত্যেকটিতে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল। সারা বছর ধরে এক একটি দল এক এক মাস করে কাজ করত।

2 Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

২প্রথম মাসের জন্য প্রথম সৈন্যদলের ভার ছিল সব্দীয়েলের ছেলে যাশবিয়ামের উপর। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

3 He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.

৩তিনি ছিলেন পেরসের বংশধর। তিনি প্রথম মাসের জন্য সমস্ত সেনাপতিদের নেতা ছিলেন।

4 Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

৪দ্বিতীয় মাসের জন্য সৈন্যদলের ভার ছিল অহোহীয় দোদাইয়ের উপর। তাঁর অধীনে দলনেতা ছিলেন মিক্লোৎ। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

5 The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

৫তৃতীয় মাসের জন্য সেনাপতি ছিলেন যাজক যিহোয়াদার ছেলে বনায়। তিনি ছিলেন তৃতীয় দলের নেতা। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

6 This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.

৬ইনি সেই বনায় যিনি ত্রিশজন বীর যোদ্ধাদের দলের একজন ছিলেন এবং সেই দলের নেতা ছিলেন। তাঁর ছেলে অম্মীষাবাদ তাঁর দলে ছিলেন।

7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

৭চতুর্থ মাসের জন্য চতুর্থ দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন যোয়াবের ভাই অসাহেল। তাঁর মৃত্যুর পরে সেনাপতি হয়েছিলেন তাঁর ছেলে সবদিয়। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

8 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

৮পঞ্চম মাসের জন্য পঞ্চম দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন যিষ্রাহীয় শমহূৎ। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

৯ষষ্ঠ মাসের জন্য ষষ্ঠ দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন তকোয়ীয় ইক্কেশের ছেলে ঈরা। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

১০সপ্তম মাসের জন্য সপ্তম দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন পলোনীয় হেলস; তিনি ছিলেন ইফ্রয়িম গোষ্ঠীর একজন লোক। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

11 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

১১অষ্টম মাসের জন্য অষ্টম দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন হূশাতীয় সিব্বখয়; তিনি ছিলেন সেরহের বংশের একজন লোক। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

১২নবম মাসের জন্য নবম দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন অনাথোতীয় অবীয়েষর; তিনি ছিলেন বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠীর একজন লোক। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

13 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

১৩দশম মাসের জন্য দশম দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন নটোফাতীয় মহরয়। তিনি ছিলেন সেরহের বংশের একজন লোক। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

14 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

১৪একাদশ মাসের জন্য একাদশ দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন পিরিয়াথোনীয় বনায়। তিনি ছিলেন ইফ্রয়িম গোষ্ঠীর একজন লোক। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.

১৫দ্বাদশ মাসের জন্য দ্বাদশ দলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন নটোফাতীয় হিল্‌দয়। তিনি ছিলেন অৎনীয়েলের বংশের একজন লোক। তাঁর দলে চব্বিশ হাজার সৈন্য ছিল।

16 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: of the Reubenites, Eliezer the son of Zichri was the ruler; of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maacah;

১৬ইস্রায়েলের গোষ্ঠীগুলোর প্রধান নেতাদের তালিকা এই: রূবেণীয়দের নেতা সিখ্রির ছেলে ইলীয়েষর, শিমিয়োনীয়দের নেতা মাখার ছেলে শফটিয়,

17 of Levi, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; of Aaron, Zadok;

১৭লেবি গোষ্ঠীর নেতা কমূয়েলের ছেলে হশবিয়, হারোণের বংশের নেতা সাদোক,

18 of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;

১৮যিহূদা গোষ্ঠীর নেতা দায়ূদের ভাই ইলীহূ, ইষাখর গোষ্ঠীর নেতা মীখায়েলের ছেলে অম্রি,

19 of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jeremoth the son of Azriel;

১৯সবূলূন গোষ্ঠীর নেতা ওবদিয়ের ছেলে যিশ্মায়য়, নপ্তালি গোষ্ঠীর নেতা অস্রীয়েলের ছেলে যিরেমোৎ,

20 of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah; of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;

২০ইফ্রয়িমের বংশের নেতা অসসিয়ের ছেলে হোশেয়, মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক লোকদের নেতা পদায়ের ছেলে যোয়েল,

21 of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;

২১গিলিয়দে বাসকারী মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর বাকি অর্ধেক লোকদের নেতা সখরিয়ের ছেলে যিদ্দো, বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠীর নেতা অব্‌নেরের ছেলে যাসীয়েল,

22 of Dan, Azarel the son of Jeroham. These were the captains of the tribes of Israel.

২২দান গোষ্ঠীর নেতা যিরোহমের ছেলে অসরেল। এঁরাই ছিলেন ইস্রায়েলের গোষ্ঠীগুলোর প্রধান নেতা।

23 But David did not take the number of them from twenty years old and under, because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like the stars of the sky.

২৩দায়ূদ কুড়ি কিম্বা তার চেয়ে কম বয়সী লোকদের সংখ্যা গণনা করলেন না, কারণ সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলীয়দের সংখ্যা আকাশের তারার মত অসংখ্য করবেন বলে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলেন।

24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to take a census, but did not finish; and wrath came on Israel for this. The number was not put into the account in the chronicles of King David.

২৪সরূয়ার ছেলে যোয়াব লোকগণনা করতে শুরু করেছিলেন, কিন্তু তা শেষ করেননি। লোকগণনার জন্য ইস্রায়েলের উপর সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধ নেমে এসেছিল। সেইজন্য রাজা দায়ূদের ইতিহাস বইতে লোকদের কোনো সংখ্যা লেখা হয়নি।

25 Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;

২৫রাজার ভান্ডারের দেখাশোনার ভার ছিল অদীয়েলের ছেলে অস্‌মাবতের উপর। ক্ষেত খামারে, শহরে, গ্রামে ও পাহারা দেওয়ার উঁচু ঘরগুলোতে যে সব গুদাম ছিল তার দেখাশোনা করবার ভার ছিল উষিয়ের ছেলে যোনাথনের উপর।

26 Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.

২৬চাষীদের দেখাশোনার ভার ছিল কলূবের ছেলে ইষ্রির উপর।

27 Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.

২৭আঙ্গুর ক্ষেতের ভার ছিল রামাথীয় শিমিয়ির উপর। আঙ্গুর ক্ষেত থেকে যে আঙ্গুর রস পাওয়া যেত তার ভান্ডারের ভার ছিল শিফমীয় সব্দির উপর।

28 Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.

২৮নীচু পাহাড়ী এলাকার জিতবৃক্ষ ও ডুমুর গাছের ভার ছিল গদেরীয় বাল হাননের উপর। জলপাইয়ের তেলের ভান্ডারের ভার ছিল যোয়াশের উপর।

29 Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.

২৯শারোণে যে সব গরুর পাল চরত তাদের ভার ছিল শারোণীয় সিট্রয়ের উপর। উপত্যকার গরুর পালের ভার ছিল অদ্‌লয়ের ছেলে শাফটের উপর।

30 Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.

৩০ইশ্মায়েলীয় ওবীলের উপর ভার ছিল উটের পালের। মেরোণোথীয় যেহদিয়ের উপর ছিল গর্দ্দভীদের ভার।

31 All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.

৩১ছাগল ও ভেড়ার পালের ভার ছিল হাগরীয় যাসীষের উপর। রাজা দায়ূদের সম্পত্তির দেখাশোনার ভার ছিল এই সব তদারককারীদের উপর।

32 Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.

৩২দায়ূদের কাকা যোনাথন ছিলেন পরামর্শদাতা, বুদ্ধিমান লোক ও রাজার লেখক। রাজার ছেলেদের শিক্ষার ব্যবস্থার ভার ছিল হক্‌মোনির ছেলে যিহীয়েলের উপর।

33 Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.

৩৩অহীথোফল ছিলেন রাজার পরামর্শদাতা, অর্কীয় হূশয় ছিলেন রাজার বন্ধু।

34 After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.

৩৪অহীথোফলের মৃত্যুর পরে অবীয়াথর ও বনায়ের ছেলে যিহোয়াদা রাজার পরামর্শদাতা হয়েছিলেন। রাজার সৈন্যদলের সেনাপতি ছিলেন যোয়াব।
