< 1 Chronicles 15 >

1 David made himself houses in David’s city; and he prepared a place for God’s ark, and pitched a tent for it.
Namboatse anjomba ho am-bata’e an-drova’ i Davide ao t’i Davide, le nañajaria’e toetse i vatan’ Añaharey vaho nañoreña’e kivoho.
2 Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For the LORD has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”
Le hoe t’i Davide: Tsy eo ty hinday i vatan’ Añaharey naho tsy o nte-Levio avao; amy t’ie ty jinobo’ Iehovà hitarazo i vatan’ Añaharey naho ty hitoroñe Aze nainai’e.
3 David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up the LORD’s ark to its place, which he had prepared for it.
Natonto’ i Davide e Ierosalaime ao t’Israele iaby, haneseañe ty vata’ Iehovà mb’ an-toe’e nihajarie’e ho aze.
4 David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites:
Le navori’ i Davide o ana’ i Aharoneo naho o nte-Levio;
5 of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and his brothers one hundred twenty;
amo ana’ i Kehàteo: i Oriele ty talè naho o rahalahi’eo, zato tsy roapolo;
6 of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred twenty;
amo ana’ i Merario: i Asaià ty talè naho o rahalahi’eo: roanjato-tsi-roapolo;
7 of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and his brothers one hundred thirty;
amo ana’ i Gersomeo: Ioele ty talè’e naho o rahalahi’eo; zato-tsi-telopolo;
8 of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred;
amo ana’ i Elitsafaneo; i Semaià ty talè naho o rahalahi’eo, roanjato;
9 of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and his brothers eighty;
amo ana’ i Kebroneo; i Eliele ty talè naho valopolo o rahalahi’eo;
10 of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and his brothers one hundred twelve.
amo ana’ i Ozieleo; i Aminadabe ty talè naho zato-tsi-folo-ro’ amby o rahalahi’eo.
11 David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites: for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab,
Kinanji’ i Davide amy zao t’i Tsadoke naho i Abiatare mpisoroñe naho amo nte-Levio, i Oriele naho i Asaià naho Ioele naho i Semaià naho i Eliele vaho i Aminadabe,
12 and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.
le nanoa’e ty hoe: Inahareo ro talèn’ anjomban-droae nte-Levio; mañamasiña vatañe, ie naho o longo’ areoo, hanesea’ areo mb’etoy i vata’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israeley, mb’amy nihajariakoy.
13 For because you did not carry it at first, the LORD our God broke out in anger against us, because we did not seek him according to the ordinance.”
Ie tsy nendesa’ areo am-baloha’ey ty nitosira’ Iehovà Andrianañahare aman-tika, amy te tsy nihalalian-tika i fañè zay.
14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
Aa le nañefe-batañe o mpisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio, hampionjoñe i vata’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israeley.
15 The children of the Levites bore God’s ark on their shoulders with its poles, as Moses commanded according to the LORD’s word.
Aa le nitarazoe’ o ana’ i Levio an-tsoroke am-boda’e i vatan’ Añaharey, amy nandilia’ i Mosè ty amy tsara’ Iehovàiy.
16 David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers with instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up their voices with joy.
Le nisaontsy amy mpiaolo’ o nte-Levio t’i Davide hijoboña’e amo rahalahi’eo o mpisaboo, reke-pititihañe ara-tsabo, am-pipoñafeñe jejo-bory naho marovany naho fikarantsañe vaho ionjonam-peo an-drebeke.
17 So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brothers, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
Aa le jinobo’ o nte-Levio t’i Hemane ana’ Ioele; naho o rahalahi’eo, i Asafe, ana’ i Berekia; naho o ana’ i Merario, i Etane ana’ i Kosaià;
18 and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.
naho o rahalahi’e amy saranga faharoeio: i Zekarià, i Bene naho Iaaziele naho i Semiramote naho Iekiele naho i Oný, i Eliabe naho i Benaià naho i Maaseià naho i Matitià naho i Elifeleho vaho i Mikneià naho i Ovededome naho Ieiele, songa mpiamben-dalambey.
19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of bronze to sound aloud;
Tinendre hampikorintseñe o katsàñe torisikeo t’i Hemane naho i Asafe vaho i Etane, mpisabo;
20 and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;
le songa an-jejobory, am-peo abo t’i Zekarià naho i Aziele naho i Semiramote naho Iehiele naho i Oný naho Eliabe naho i Maaseià vaho i Benaià.
21 and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.
Le an-tali-valo hitarihañe o feo ambaneo t’i Matitià naho i Elifeleho naho i Mikneià naho i Ovededome naho Ieiele vaho i Azazià.
22 Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the singing. He taught the singers, because he was skillful.
Natao mpañoniñe t’i Kenanià, talè’ o nte-Levio, amy hilala’e onin-tsaboy, toe nahihitse.
23 Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
Nimpitan-dala’ i vatay t’i Berekià naho i Elkanà.
24 Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before God’s ark; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
I Sebanià naho Iehosafate naho i Netanele naho i Amasay naho i Zekarià naho i Benaià naho i Eliezere, mpisoroñe, songa nampipopò trompetra aolo’ i vatan’ Añaharey; vaho nimpitan-dala’ i vatay t’i Ovededome naho Iekià.
25 So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands went to bring the ark of the LORD’s covenant up out of the house of Obed-Edom with joy.
Aa le nimb’eo t’i Davide naho o roandria’ Israeleo naho o mpifelek’ arivoo, hampionjona’ iereo mb’eo i vatam-pañina’Iehovày boak’ añ’anjomba’ i Ovededome ao an-drebeke.
26 When God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the LORD’s covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
Ie amy zao, kanao nañolotse o nte-Levy nitarazo i vatam-pañina’ Iehovàio t’i Andrianañahare, le nisoroñañe bania fito naho añondrilahy fito.
27 David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who bore the ark, the singers, and Chenaniah the choir master with the singers; and David had an ephod of linen on him.
Nisaroñe leny mireparepa t’i Davide naho o nte-Levy nitarazo i vataio naho o mpisaboo vaho i Kenanià talè’ o mpisabo amo oniñeoo; le nampiombeañe kitambe leny t’i Davide.
28 Thus all Israel brought the ark of the LORD’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.
Aa le songa nampionjoñe i vatam-pañina’ Iehovày am-pazake t’Israele, am-pitiofañe tsifa naho am-pipopòn-trompetra naho am-pikarantsañe naho am-pipoñafam-peo reke-jejobory naho marovany.
29 As the ark of the LORD’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.
Ie nimoak’ an-drova’ i Davide ao i vatam-pañina’ Iehovày, le nitilihitse an-dalan-kede t’i Mikale ana’ i Saole nahaisake i Davide nitsinjake naho niankahake ey vaho nitorifiha’e an-trok’ ao.
