Luke 24
1 And on the first day of the week, very early morning, they came to the sepulcher bringing the spices that they prepared, and some women with them.
อถ สปฺตาหปฺรถมทิเน'ติปฺรตฺยูเษ ตา โยษิต: สมฺปาทิตํ สุคนฺธิทฺรวฺยํ คฺฤหีตฺวา ตทนฺยาภิ: กิยตีภิ: สฺตฺรีภิ: สห ศฺมศานํ ยยุ: ฯ
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
กินฺตุ ศฺมศานทฺวาราตฺ ปาษาณมปสาริตํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา
3 And having entered in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
ตา: ปฺรวิศฺย ปฺรโภ เรฺทหมปฺราปฺย
4 And it came to pass while they were bewildered about this, that behold, two men stood near them in shining apparel.
วฺยากุลา ภวนฺติ เอตรฺหิ เตโชมยวสฺตฺรานฺวิเตา เทฺวา ปุรุเษา ตาสำ สมีเป สมุปสฺถิเตา
5 And since they became frightened and bowing down their face to the ground, they said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
ตสฺมาตฺตา: ศงฺกายุกฺตา ภูมาวโธมุขฺยสฺยสฺถุ: ฯ ตทา เตา ตา อูจตุ รฺมฺฤตานำ มเธฺย ชีวนฺตํ กุโต มฺฤคยถ?
6 He is not here, but was raised. Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee,
โสตฺร นาสฺติ ส อุทสฺถาตฺฯ
7 saying that the Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day to rise.
ปาปินำ กเรษุ สมรฺปิเตน กฺรุเศ หเตน จ มนุษฺยปุเตฺรณ ตฺฤตียทิวเส ศฺมศานาทุตฺถาตวฺยมฺ อิติ กถำ ส คลีลิ ติษฺฐนฺ ยุษฺมภฺยํ กถิตวานฺ ตำ สฺมรตฯ
8 And they remembered his sayings.
ตทา ตสฺย สา กถา ตาสำ มน: สุ ชาตาฯ
9 And having returned from the sepulcher, they reported all these things to the eleven, and to all the others.
อนนฺตรํ ศฺมศานาทฺ คตฺวา ตา เอกาทศศิษฺยาทิภฺย: สรฺเวฺวภฺยสฺตำ วารฺตฺตำ กถยามาสุ: ฯ
10 Now they were Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles.
มคฺทลีนีมริยมฺ, โยหนา, ยากูโพ มาตา มริยมฺ ตทนฺยา: สงฺคิโนฺย โยษิตศฺจ เปฺรริเตภฺย เอตา: สรฺวฺวา วารฺตฺตา: กถยามาสุ:
11 And their sayings appeared before them as idle talk, and they disbelieved them.
กินฺตุ ตาสำ กถามฺ อนรฺถกาขฺยานมาตฺรํ พุทฺธฺวา โกปิ น ปฺรไตฺยตฺฯ
12 But having risen, Peter ran to the sepulcher. And having stooped down, he sees the linen cloths laying alone. And he departed, wondering to himself at that which happened.
ตทา ปิตร อุตฺถาย ศฺมศานานฺติกํ ทธาว, ตตฺร จ ปฺรโหฺว ภูตฺวา ปารฺไศฺวกสฺถาปิตํ เกวลํ วสฺตฺรํ ททรฺศ; ตสฺมาทาศฺจรฺยฺยํ มนฺยมาโน ยทฆฏต ตนฺมนสิ วิจารยนฺ ปฺรตเสฺถฯ
13 And behold, two of them were going the same day to a village that was sixty furlongs away from Jerusalem, which name was Emmaus.
ตสฺมินฺเนว ทิเน เทฺวา ศิเยฺยา ยิรูศาลมศฺจตุษฺโกฺรศานฺตริตมฺ อิมฺมายุคฺรามํ คจฺฉนฺเตา
14 And they conversed with each other about all these things that happened.
ตาสำ ฆฏนานำ กถามกถยตำ
15 And it came to pass, while they conversed and discussed, that Jesus himself also having approached, went along with them.
ตโยราลาปวิจารโย: กาเล ยีศุราคตฺย ตาภฺยำ สห ชคาม
16 But their eyes were held, not to recognize him.
กินฺตุ ยถา เตา ตํ น ปริจินุตสฺตทรฺถํ ตโย รฺทฺฤษฺฏิ: สํรุทฺธาฯ
17 And he said to them, What are these words that ye toss back to each other, while walking and are looking sad.
ส เตา ปฺฤษฺฏวานฺ ยุวำ วิษณฺเณา กึ วิจารยนฺเตา คจฺฉถ: ?
18 And one, whose name was Cleopas, having answered, said to him, Thou only visit Jerusalem and do not know the things that happened in it during these days?
ตตสฺตโย: กฺลิยปานามา ปฺรตฺยุวาจ ยิรูศาลมปุเร'ธุนา ยานฺยฆฏนฺต ตฺวํ เกวลวิเทศี กึ ตทฺวฺฤตฺตานฺตํ น ชานาสิ?
19 And he said to them, What? And they said to him, The things about Jesus the Nazarene, who became a prophet, a mighty man in work and word before God and all the people,
ส ปปฺรจฺฉ กา ฆฏนา: ? ตทา เตา วกฺตุมาเรภาเต ยีศุนามา โย นาสรตีโย ภวิษฺยทฺวาที อีศฺวรสฺย มานุษาณาญฺจ สากฺษาตฺ วาเกฺย กรฺมฺมณิ จ ศกฺติมานาสีตฺ
20 and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up for condemnation of death, and crucified him.
ตมฺ อสฺมากํ ปฺรธานยาชกา วิจารกาศฺจ เกนาปิ ปฺรกาเรณ กฺรุเศ วิทฺธฺวา ตสฺย ปฺราณานนาศยนฺ ตทียา ฆฏนา: ;
21 But we hoped that he is the man who is going to redeem Israel. But even with all these things, it brings this third day today from which time these things happened.
กินฺตุ ย อิสฺราเยลียโลกานฺ อุทฺธารยิษฺยติ ส เอวายมฺ อิตฺยาศาสฺมาภิ: กฺฤตาฯ ตทฺยถา ตถาสฺตุ ตสฺยา ฆฏนายา อทฺย ทินตฺรยํ คตํฯ
22 But also some of our women astonished us, having come to be at the sepulcher early morning.
อธิกนฺตฺวสฺมากํ สงฺคินีนำ กิยตฺสฺตฺรีณำ มุเขโภฺย'สมฺภววากฺยมิทํ ศฺรุตํ;
23 And not having found his body, they came, saying also to have seen a vision of agents who say he is alive.
ตา: ปฺรตฺยูเษ ศฺมศานํ คตฺวา ตตฺร ตสฺย เทหมฺ อปฺราปฺย วฺยาฆุเฏฺยตฺวา โปฺรกฺตวตฺย: สฺวรฺคีสทูเตา ทฺฤษฺฏาวสฺมาภิเสฺตา จาวาทิษฺฏำ ส ชีวิตวานฺฯ
24 And some of those with us went to the sepulcher, and found it this way, just as also the women said, but they did not see him.
ตโตสฺมากํ ไกศฺจิตฺ ศฺมศานมคมฺยต เต'ปิ สฺตฺรีณำ วากฺยานุรูปํ ทฺฤษฺฏวนฺต: กินฺตุ ตํ นาปศฺยนฺฯ
25 And he said to them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets spoke.
ตทา ส ตาวุวาจ, เห อโพเธา เห ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิภิรุกฺตวากฺยํ ปฺรเตฺยตุํ วิลมฺพมาเนา;
26 Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
เอตตฺสรฺวฺวทุ: ขํ ภุกฺตฺวา สฺวภูติปฺราปฺติ: กึ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย น นฺยายฺยา?
27 And having begun from Moses and from all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures the things about himself.
ตต: ส มูสาคฺรนฺถมารภฺย สรฺวฺวภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ สรฺวฺวศาสฺเตฺร สฺวสฺมินฺ ลิขิตาขฺยานาภิปฺรายํ โพธยามาสฯ
28 And they came near to the village where they were going, and he pretended to go further.
อถ คมฺยคฺรามาภฺยรฺณํ ปฺราปฺย เตนาเคฺร คมนลกฺษเณ ทรฺศิเต
29 And they constrained him, saying, Remain with us, because it is toward evening, and the day has declined. And he went in to remain with them.
เตา สาธยิตฺวาวทตำ สหาวาภฺยำ ติษฺฐ ทิเน คเต สติ ราตฺริรภูตฺ; ตต: ส ตาภฺยำ สารฺทฺธํ สฺถาตุํ คฺฤหํ ยเยาฯ
30 And it came to pass during his dining with them, that, having taken the bread, he blessed, and having broken in pieces he gave to them.
ปศฺจาทฺโภชโนปเวศกาเล ส ปูปํ คฺฤหีตฺวา อีศฺวรคุณานฺ ชคาท ตญฺจ ภํกฺตฺวา ตาภฺยำ ทเทาฯ
31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he became invisible from them.
ตทา ตโย รฺทฺฤษฺเฏา ปฺรสนฺนายำ ตํ ปฺรตฺยภิชฺญตุ: กินฺตุ ส ตโย: สากฺษาทนฺตรฺทเธฯ
32 And they said to each other, Was not our heart burning within us while he spoke to us on the way, while he opened to us the scriptures?
ตตเสฺตา มิโถภิธาตุมฺ อารพฺธวนฺเตา คมนกาเล ยทา กถามกถยตฺ ศาสฺตฺรารฺถญฺจโพธยตฺ ตทาวโย รฺพุทฺธิ: กึ น ปฺราชฺวลตฺ?
33 And having risen up the same hour, they returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven gathered together,
เตา ตตฺกฺษณาทุตฺถาย ยิรูศาลมปุรํ ปฺรตฺยายยตุ: , ตตฺสฺถาเน ศิษฺยาณามฺ เอกาทศานำ สงฺคินาญฺจ ทรฺศนํ ชาตํฯ
34 and those who were with them who said, The Lord really was raised, and was seen by Simon.
เต โปฺรจุ: ปฺรภุรุทติษฺฐทฺ อิติ สตฺยํ ศิโมเน ทรฺศนมทาจฺจฯ
35 And they reported the things on the road, and how he was made known to them during the breaking of the bread.
ตต: ปถ: สรฺวฺวฆฏนายา: ปูปภญฺชเนน ตตฺปริจยสฺย จ สรฺวฺววฺฤตฺตานฺตํ เตา วกฺตุมาเรภาเตฯ
36 And as they spoke these things, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and says to them, Peace to you.
อิตฺถํ เต ปรสฺปรํ วทนฺติ ตตฺกาเล ยีศุ: สฺวยํ เตษำ มธฺย โปฺรตฺถย ยุษฺมากํ กลฺยาณํ ภูยาทฺ อิตฺยุวาจ,
37 But having been startled, and having become frightened, they presumed to see a spirit.
กินฺตุ ภูตํ ปศฺยาม อิตฺยนุมาย เต สมุทฺวิวิชิเร เตฺรษุศฺจฯ
38 And he said to them, Why are ye troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
ส อุวาจ, กุโต ทุ: ขิตา ภวถ? ยุษฺมากํ มน: สุ สนฺเทห อุเทติ จ กุต: ?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as ye see me having.
เอโษหํ, มม กเรา ปศฺยต วรํ สฺปฺฤษฺฏฺวา ปศฺยต, มม ยาทฺฤศานิ ปศฺยถ ตาทฺฤศานิ ภูตสฺย มำสาสฺถีนิ น สนฺติฯ
40 And having said this, he displayed to them his hands and feet.
อิตฺยุกฺตฺวา ส หสฺตปาทานฺ ทรฺศยามาสฯ
41 And while they still disbelieved from joy and wondering, he said to them, Have ye anything to eat here?
เต'สมฺภวํ ชฺญาตฺวา สานนฺทา น ปฺรตฺยยนฺฯ ตต: ส ตานฺ ปปฺรจฺฉ, อตฺร ยุษฺมากํ สมีเป ขาทฺยํ กิญฺจิทสฺติ?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and from a bees honeycomb.
ตตเสฺต กิยทฺทคฺธมตฺสฺยํ มธุ จ ททุ:
43 And having taken it, he ate before them.
ส ตทาทาย เตษำ สากฺษาทฺ พุภุเช
44 And he said to them, These are the words that I spoke to you while still being with you, that it is necessary for all things that are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms about me to be fulfilled.
กถยามาส จ มูสาวฺยวสฺถายำ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ คฺรนฺเถษุ คีตปุสฺตเก จ มยิ ยานิ สรฺวฺวาณิ วจนานิ ลิขิตานิ ตทนุรูปาณิ ฆฏิษฺยนฺเต ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธํ สฺถิตฺวาหํ ยเทตทฺวากฺยมฺ อวทํ ตทิทานีํ ปฺรตฺยกฺษมภูตฺฯ
45 Then he opened their mind to understand the scriptures.
อถ เตภฺย: ศาสฺตฺรโพธาธิการํ ทตฺวาวทตฺ,
46 And he said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day,
ขฺรีษฺเฏเนตฺถํ มฺฤติยาตนา โภกฺตวฺยา ตฺฤตียทิเน จ ศฺมศานาทุตฺถาตวฺยญฺเจติ ลิปิรสฺติ;
47 and to proclaim in his name repentance and remission of sins for all the nations, having begun from Jerusalem.
ตนฺนามฺนา ยิรูศาลมมารภฺย สรฺวฺวเทเศ มน: ปราวรฺตฺตนสฺย ปาปโมจนสฺย จ สุสํวาท: ปฺรจารยิตวฺย: ,
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
เอษุ สรฺเวฺวษุ ยูยํ สากฺษิณ: ฯ
49 And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you. But stay ye in the city until ye are clothed with power from on high.
อปรญฺจ ปศฺยต ปิตฺรา ยตฺ ปฺรติชฺญาตํ ตตฺ เปฺรษยิษฺยามิ, อเตอว ยาวตฺกาลํ ยูยํ สฺวรฺคียำ ศกฺตึ น ปฺราปฺสฺยถ ตาวตฺกาลํ ยิรูศาลมฺนคเร ติษฺฐตฯ
50 And he led them outside as far as to Bethany, and having lifted up his hands, he blessed them.
อถ ส ตานฺ ไพถนียาปรฺยฺยนฺตํ นีตฺวา หสฺตาวุตฺโตลฺย อาศิษ วกฺตุมาเรเภ
51 And it came to pass while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was brought up into heaven.
อาศิษํ วทนฺเนว จ เตภฺย: ปฺฤถคฺ ภูตฺวา สฺวรฺคาย นีโต'ภวตฺฯ
52 And having worshiping him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
ตทา เต ตํ ภชมานา มหานนฺเทน ยิรูศาลมํ ปฺรตฺยาชคฺมุ: ฯ
53 and they were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Truly.
ตโต นิรนฺตรํ มนฺทิเร ติษฺฐนฺต อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรศํสำ ธนฺยวาทญฺจ กรฺตฺตมฺ อาเรภิเรฯ อิติ๚
