Luke 21
1 And having looked up, he saw the rich casting their gifts into the treasury.
E ele, olhando, viu os ricos lançarem suas ofertas na arca do tesouro [do templo].
2 And he also saw a certain poor widow there casting in two mites.
E viu também uma pobre viúva lançar ali duas pequenas moedas.
3 And he said, Truly I say to you, that this poor widow cast in more than they all.
E disse: Em verdade vos digo que esta pobre viúva lançou mais do que todos,
4 For all these cast into the offerings of God from their abundance, but this woman from her poverty cast in all the living that she had.
Porque todos aqueles lançaram para as ofertas de Deus daquilo que lhes sobrava; mas esta [viúva], de sua pobreza, lançou todo o sustento que tinha.
5 And as some spoke about the temple, that it was adorned with fine stones and gifts, he said,
E alguns estavam falando do templo, que era adornado com formosas pedras e ofertas. Então [Jesus] disse:
6 These things that ye see, the days will come during which there will not be left a stone upon a stone that will not be thrown down.
Destas coisas que vedes, dias virão, em que não se deixará pedra sobre pedra, que não seja derrubada.
7 And they questioned him, saying, Teacher, when therefore will these things be? And what is the sign when these things are going to happen?
E perguntaram-lhe, dizendo: Mestre, quando, pois, serão essas coisas? E que sinal haverá, quando essas coisas vierem a acontecer?
8 And he said, Watch that ye may not be led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, I am, and, The time has come near. Go ye not therefore after them.
Então ele disse: Olhai para que não vos enganem, porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Eu sou [o Cristo]. E o tempo já está perto; portanto não os sigais.
9 And when ye may hear of wars and tumults, do not be alarmed, for these things must first happen, but the end is not straightaway.
E quando ouvirdes de guerras, e de rebeliões, não vos espanteis. Porque é necessário que estas coisas aconteçam primeiro; mas ainda não é o fim.
10 Then he said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Então lhe disse: Então se levantará nação contra nação, e reino contra reino.
11 And great earthquakes will be in various places, and famines and plagues. And there will be fearful sights and great signs from the sky.
E haverá em vários lugares grandes terremotos e fomes, e pragas; haverá também coisas espantosas, e grandes sinais do céu.
12 But before all these things, they will throw their hands on you, and will persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Mas antes de tudo isto, eles vos impedirão e vos perseguirão, [vos] entregando em sinagogas e prisões, [e] vos trazendo diante de reis, e governadores, por causa do meu nome.
13 But it will go out from you for testimony.
E isto vos acontecerá para haver testemunho.
14 Settle therefore in your hearts not to premeditate to make defense.
Portanto, que vós decidais nos vossos corações não planejar como direis em vossa defesa,
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom that all those who oppose you will not be able to contradict or to resist.
porque eu vos darei boca e sabedoria, para que todos os que forem contra vós não posam [vos] contradizer ou resistir.
16 And ye will be betrayed even by parents, and kinsmen, and friends, and brothers. And some of you they will condemn to death.
E vós sereis entregues até pelos pais, e irmãos, e parentes, e amigos; e [alguns] de vós serão mortos.
17 And ye will be hated by all men because of my name.
E vós sereis odiados por todos por causa do meu nome.
18 And, no, not a hair of your head will perish.
Mas nem um cabelo de vossa cabeça parecerá.
19 In your perseverance ye gain your souls.
Por vossa paciência ganhareis vossas almas.
20 But when ye see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation of it has come near.
Porém quando virdes a Jerusalém cercada de exércitos, sabei então, que próxima está sua desolação.
21 Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those in the midst of it depart out, and let not those in the rural areas enter into it.
Então, os que estiverem na Judeia, fujam para os montes; e os que estiverem no meio dela, saiam, e os que estiverem nos campos, não entrem nela.
22 Because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all things that are written.
Porque estes são dias de vingança, para que todas as coisas que estão escritas se cumpram.
23 But woe to those who have in the womb, and to those who suckle in those days. For there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people.
Mas ai das grávidas, e das que amamentarem naqueles dias; porque grande calamidade haverá na terra, e ira contra este povo.
24 And they will fall by the jaw of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
E cairão pela lâmina de espada, e serão levados cativos para todas as nações; e Jerusalém será pisada pelos gentios, até que os tempos dos gentios se cumpram.
25 And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, roaring of sea and of tossing,
E haverá sinais no Sol, [na] Lua, e [nas] estrelas; e na terra sofrimento entre as nações, como o rugir e agitar do mar.
26 fainting of men from fear, and of anticipation of the things coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
As pessoas desmaiarão de medo e da expectativa das coisas que vão acontecer ao mundo, porque os poderes dos céus serão abalados.
27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and much glory.
E então verão o Filho do homem vir em uma nuvem com grande poder e glória.
28 And when these things begin to happen, stand upright, and lift up your heads, because your redemption approaches.
Ora, quando estas coisas começarem a acontecer, olhai para cima, e levantai vossas cabeças, porque vosso resgate está perto.
29 And he spoke a parable to them. Behold the fig tree, and all the trees.
E disse-lhes uma parábola: Olhai a figueira, e todas as árvores;
30 When they are now sprouting, ye know seeing for yourselves that summer is now near.
Quando vós vedes elas já brotando, sabeis por vós mesmos que o verão já está perto.
31 Even so ye, when ye see these things happening, know ye that the kingdom of God is near.
Assim também vós, quando virdes acontecer estas coisas, sabei que o Reino de Deus já está perto.
32 Truly I say to you, that this generation will, no, not pass away until all things happen.
Em verdade vos digo, que esta geração não passará, até que tudo aconteça.
33 The sky and the earth will pass away, but my words may, no, not pass away.
O céu e a terra passarão, mas minhas palavras de maneira nenhuma passarão.
34 But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down in debauchery and drunkenness and mundane cares, and that day come upon you sudden.
E olhai por vós, para que vossos corações não venham a se encher de ressaca e embriaguez, e das preocupações d [esta] vida; e vos venha aquele dia de surpresa.
35 For it will come like a trap upon all those who sit upon the face of all the earth.
Porque virá como uma armadilha sobre todos os que habitam sobre a face de toda a terra.
36 Watch ye therefore, making supplication at all times, so that ye may be considered worthy to escape all these things going to happen, and to stand before the Son of man.
Então vigiai sempre, orando para que sejais considerados dignos de escaparem de todas as coisas que irão acontecer, e de ficarem de pé diante do Filho do homem.
37 And during the days he was teaching in the temple, and going forth the nights, he lodged on the mount that is called Olives.
E ensinava durante os dias no Templo, porém, às noites saía e as passava no monte, chamado as Oliveiras.
38 And all the people rose early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
E todo o povo vinha até ele de manhã cedo ao templo, para o ouvir.
