1 Chronicles 25
1 Moreover David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals. And the number of those who did the work according to their service was:
ASIMISMO David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio á los hijos de Asaph, y de Hemán, y de Jeduthún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos: y el número de ellos fué, de hombres [idóneos] para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:
2 of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king.
De los hijos de Asaph: Zachûr, José, Methanías, y Asareela, hijos de Asaph, bajo la dirección de Asaph, el cual profetizaba á la orden del rey.
3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Jehovah.
De Jeduthún: los hijos de Jeduthún, Gedalías, Sesi, Jesaías, Hasabías, y Mathithías, [y Simi]: seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jeduthún, el cual profetizaba con arpa, para celebrar y alabar á Jehová.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
De Hemán: los hijos de Hemán, Buccia, Mathanía, Uzziel, Sebuel, Jerimoth, Hananías, Hanani, Eliatha, Gidalthi, Romamti-ezer, Josbecasa, Mallothi, Othir, y Mahazioth.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey en palabras de Dios, para ensalzar el poder [suyo]: y dió Dios á Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
Y todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre en la música, en la casa de Jehová, con címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del templo de Dios, por disposición del rey [acerca] de Asaph, de Jeduthún, y de Hemán.
7 And the number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to Jehovah, even all who were skilful, was two hundred eighty-eight.
Y el número de ellos con sus hermanos instruídos en música de Jehová, todos los aptos, fué doscientos ochenta y ocho.
8 And they cast lots for their offices, all alike, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
Y echaron suertes para los turnos [del servicio], [entrando] el pequeño con el grande, lo mismo el maestro que el discípulo.
9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph, the second to Gedaliah (he and his brothers and sons were twelve),
Y la primera suerte salió por Asaph, á José: la segunda á Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos é hijos fueron doce;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La tercera á Zachûr, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La cuarta á Isri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La quinta á Nethanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La sexta á Buccia, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
14 the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La séptima á Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La octava á Jesahías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
16 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La nona á Mathanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
17 the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décima á Simi, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
18 the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La undécima á Azareel, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La duodécima á Hasabías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimatercia á Subael, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimacuarta á Mathithías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimaquinta á Jerimoth, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimasexta á Hananías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimaséptima á Josbecasa, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
25 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimaoctava á Hanani, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
26 for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La décimanona á Mallothi, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
27 for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La vigésima á Eliatha, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
28 for the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La vigésimaprima á Othir, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
29 for the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La vigésimasegunda á Giddalthi, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
30 for the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La vigésimatercia á Mahazioth, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
31 for the twenty-fourth to Romamtiezer, his sons and his brothers, twelve.
